I hired Shadow (Bunnies N More LLC) to trim my cat's nails. What should have been a simple, routine…read moreservice turned into a deeply upsetting and violating experience, for both me and my pet. Shadow cut into my cat's quicks, leaving her in visible pain. I had to rush her to the emergency vet, where they confirmed the injury was caused by improper and careless grooming. To make matters worse, I later noticed personal items missing from my home. After reviewing my home security footage, I saw my items been taken along with Shadow's supplies. She denied everything. When I requested a refund, only for the grooming service, not the missing belongings or emergency vet bill, she was evasive and condensing. Telling me that if I wanted my refund back, I needed to "be patient," even though I had already been more than reasonable and patient for days. She also falsely claimed she would return my original check by mail, when I later confirmed she had already cashed it before sending that message. It wasn't until I made it clear that I would file a small claims lawsuit against her that she finally refunded my money back for the grooming charge only, and with no acknowledgment of the harm caused or responsibility taken. This experience was not only traumatic for my cat, but left me feeling violated, and emotionally drained. I would never want another person or animal to go through what we did. Please be extremely cautious when hiring Shadow's mobile grooming service. She seemed more interested in scanning the inside of my home than in doing the job she was actually hired to do.

The zookeeper talks are one of the highlights--they're informative, engaging, and a great way to learn more about the animals. There are also plenty of interactive activities that keep the kids entertained while helping them learn. It's become one of our go-to summertime activities. It's a great way to get the kids out of the house, spend time together as a family, and learn about wildlife. If you have young children, I highly recommend a membership--it has definitely been worth it for our family.
