Tonight I took my little sister (13) to do the zombie hunt. We had such an amazing time that I just had to write a review. Reservations are available and recommended, but we arrived as a "walk on" since this was a last minute plan. We were greeted by friendly staff who had us fill out a quick waiver and decide which activities we were interested in. I would highly recommend the top package "VIP Hunt" ($50) as this is the best value. The package was totally worth it for what we got. Our wait time was about 30 minutes which was a nice surprise considering we were a "walk on" with no reservation. (Arrival 8pm Saturday) The experience: **Spoiler alert** You begin by entering the Haunted hall. (This is similar to haunted hotel mazes that you have to go through) This was filled with awesome spooky decor, and zombies that pop out at you at every corner! The zombies cannot touch you, yet they still managed to give me a good scare! It was so much fun to have my sister go in front of me as my shield to get me through it safely. At the end of the hall, you meet up with the sergeant who gives a brief overview of how to operate the paintball markers, so we can clear out some zombies! There are 2 waves of zombies to shoot at, so the extra shots that were in the package were definitely worth it to take them down! Included were some bonus ZBucks so we had a couple options of the next activity we wanted to do. We chose the Zombie Survival. In this experience, you clear out a town full of zombies while attempting to make it safely to the end. You are equipped with gel blasters that have glow in the dark tracer rounds, goggles, and 2 flags around your waist that the zombies attempt to snag. Going through this town was such an adrenaline rush as the zombies get really close to you, and even attack from behind when you least expect it. In both the zombie hunt and survival, you are the one doing the shooting, and don't have to worry about getting shot back! The zombies running around are high energy and made our experience a true scare, and an amazing memory that I will always cherish with my sister. read more

We ended up here in August for a super fun private party. We had some experienced players and some people who were brand new. If you get 10+ people together then you get your own course with just your people. It makes it still fun but less intimidating to be with your friends. We had our private party and it averaged about $40/person for 3 hours of play. Rentals include helmet, gun, air, balls and a chest guard should you choose. They've got a bunch of awesome courses to choose from and you can go back and forth between them. The paint is super awesome too because since the courses are outside, the paint and shell are biodegradable so you don't feel bad shooting them everywhere. LADIES- this is not just for men! we had a pretty female heavy group and it was a BLAST. yes, some people are more serious but generally everyone is friendly. you will get welts. you will get competitive. you will get dirty. From the manager to the air guys to the refs- everyone is super nice, absolutely lovely. it was superb customer service even when we had navigate our large group with late stragglers.... and it was hot! we played on the different courses and enjoyed some more than others- but it's personal preference. They have a fun zombie survivor event on Halloween. It is a game were you have two flags on a belt and zombies will come try to take them. Your way to win was to shoot the zombies to protect the flags as we move room to room. If they get both flags then we are "dead". We have gone three years in a row and this will be our last. The zombies are allowed to cheat. 1st year. We were in the staging area. We were told we couldn't start shooting until we left the staging area. An acted dressed as a zombie walked in to the staging area and took both flags from my wife before the event even started. 2nd year. Zombies are supposed to fall back when shot. This didn't happen. We kept shooting and he just kept coming and took our flags. 3rd and final year. New rule this year. As we move from structure to structure the lights will turn off as we travel. We can't start shooting again until the lights turn back on. Well they didn't tell the zombies. So all of our flags. (A group of seven) Had lost our flags. I walked out after having a brief word with the manager. Seemed like a waste of money and a loss of fun. The event was fun until this. This is the only reason I gave 2 stars. read more

Wow. Just wow. Just did the Zombie experience they hold during October and must I say, it was amazing. I highly recommend getting the VIP package. The entire experience is about an hour long. Sure there's waiting. But the experience is so worth the wait. I took 2 ten year old boys and a seven year old boy and they had a blast. The zombies even got me hollerin and I was only there to capture pictures and video. This is a definite repeat experience every October for us going forward. The amount of people that got dressed up as zombies to make the experience what it was? It was like stepping into a zombie world in the woods. Expect whelps and bruises even for low impact. If you know what to expect this place can be lots of fun. Just know that even low impact can cause wells and bruises as it did on our children. Wear layers to prevent this. If low impact can cause this I can't imagine what the regular impact will do. Easily the best paintball field in the Portland metro area. Everyone who works here and plays here brings positive and welcoming vibes. On more than one occasion, my equipment had a malfunction and I was offered help so I could get back on the playing field ASAP. If you're on the fence about trying paintball, come out and try during a Crossfire event with open play, you are sure to see a wide range of skill levels so you will NOT be the only newbie. One can rent different levels of equipment, and there are other goods and beverages to purchase in the shop. Paint is fairly priced and must be purchased on site (you cannot bring your own). If you find that you love the sport and want to come back (maybe even once or twice a month), consider getting the VIP pass. Ask the owner, Jason, about it, but trust me it's worth it. So my friends and I try to come by here about once a month, it's definitely a lot of fun. The staff is usually top notch, I like that they are pretty strict with the rules. Some of the staff seem kind of young, but as long as they enforce the rules it doesn't bother me. They have a little shop that has some very basic gear, and some cold drinks. I rented equipment the first time I went and felt it was in really good shape. Of course nothing can match your own stuff, but it's nice to know their stuff is pretty decent. There are four different fields: western, pallet, inflatable and junk. Junk is the worst one because it is on a really bad slope. Western town is definitely the most fun but DAMN it's like hey don't want you to play it. I've been here four times so far and I've only been to western town once. Maybe people reserve it. I do wish they had bigger fields, and that they had something a bit more interesting, like more structures or things to climb on etc. But all things considered it's still a very impressive place. read more

Organized a Company Christmas party here. It was a great experience for team building and bonding between the employees. We had done bowling the past few years but I think that almost everyone preferred the paintball. We were all a little nervous at first (which is natural I guess), but once you get shot that first time you relax a bit more and start to have a really great time. We had about 19 of 27 people partake and I think participation will be even better next year now that they had had a chance to see it first hand. They made organizing the event simple and were easy to work with. The customer service was excellent. A billing error was discovered and corrected immediately. The refs were strict (which is needed to keep everyone safe), professional and knowledgeable. It was $30 per person ($20 entrance and $10 rental) plus paint and tip for the refs. Our group of 19 used about $300 worth of paint. That was for a 3 hour reservation, but with getting suited up and signing waivers we only paint balled for about 2 hours but that was more then enough. In the future I would tell everyone to arrive 30 min early to get ready to play. Overall it was really just a great experience which we hope to repeat next year. read more

Very professional staff and pretty good range. There is both a speed ball and rec ball course (only thing missing is woodsball!). The staff make it a point to get people on the field and not wait long periods between games. If there are any problems, the owner is quick to make it right. The only downsides are that you must buy paint at the range (custom for most places) and they are only open Thursday and Saturday. With that said, It is my understanding they are volunteer run so the hours are understandable. 5/5 for Impact and their staff. I would highly recommend a year membership plan for anyone who plays more than a few times annually. read more

Went here for the first time today with a friend and we both had a blast! I've paintball a handful of times but haven't done it for about 5 years while it was my friends first time. When we first arrived for their open play I was a bit hesitant on how welcomed we'd be due to the large crowd there but we were quickly spotted and helped by a very nice lady. She set us up with everything and we were on our way to the next game. The staffs and refs are phenomenal! There are four fields out there and we received our fair share of games. Today was the first time I was going to this place. I called in ADVANCE and confirmed I will be there after work. This place isn't a hop and a skip away so it took time to get there with rush hour and major closures, of which I'm sure they knew about. We arrive at 7:30 (they claim to open from 4 - 9 pm on Thursdays and even claimed so on their answering machine. They were closed. I didn't get a phone call or anything. They didn't even leave a note apologizing about closing early. I called a few times and they finally picked up and just claimed they didn't know anyone was coming and they decided to close early. Folks, you opened at 4 PM. If you felt you had to close up shop after only three hours of opening, don't even bother opening a business at all. I was looking forward to this all week. I left work early to make sure I got there when I could've made money and it was my only day off so I MADE SURE TO CALL AND CONFIRM I WAS COMING. They tried to call me to make up for it but I was so turned off with the lack of professionalism, there's no way I was going back. Never going, and going to tell everybody I know what a lame place this is. Don't waste your time coming here. Apparently they couldn't give less of a fuck about running a business or their clients. Went for the first time recently and had a blast! Was part of the open play group and most of them were newbies so it was fun to play against them. Some of the players were somewhat experienced like myself so its a great mix. We played 90% of our games on a the field with spools and castles which was fun for our ~50 person open play group. Only downside was we only got 2 games on the air field because there were some experienced players / teams using it all day. When we did get to hop on at the end of the day it was 25 vs 25 on a tournament field. *Facepalm* This meant doubling or tripling up in bunkers. Would've liked to see more 7v7's from the open play people on the field throughout the day. Not sure how many fields there are..I only saw 3, some people on here say 4. Besides that, gear was great! Staff was great...very helpful and great attitudes! read more

SIGN THE ONLINE WAIVER BEFORE YOU GO!!! It makes the whole trip easier. This paintball arena is tucked away on a tiny road that resembles a simple driveway. Once there, the staff is incredibly friendly and work themselves ragged trying to provide a fun experience for everyone. On Saturday there was a wild mix of experienced players and first timers. I watched a few of the more experienced guys hand their expensive toys over to some small kids so they could have even more of a blast. The only way This place could improve is if they could run 2 games, one with inexperienced/rental users and another with more experienced guys. You can easily find yourself outgunned if you use rental equipment. Still, a good time was had by my whole family and I'd absolutely recommend going there on a Saturday! read more

This place is alot of fun! The gear they have to rent is alot newer than some of the equipment I have rented in the past. I did not have any trouble with the mask fogging up and the paintball markers were accurate and well kept. Bring neck protection (like a long sleeve tee shirt to wrap around your neck so you dont get hit there on your bare skin. The staff was very pleasant and the other players here were very friendly. I am already planning another trip back. We had so much fun, I would reccomend this place to anyone looking for an awesome way to spend an afternoon. Make sure to take drinks and snacks with you as you get breaks in beetween games. This place is great. I took six 11-12 year olds here today who have either never played before or played only once. The staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful to us newbies. They were very, very patient with us. I could tell that one or two of our guys were a bit nervous, but they quickly ended up fairly comfortable. My son wants his next birthday party there. There are definitely some guys there that seem like professional paintball player types. I don't think it is a problem though because the staff is very clear to everyone (and they know those really good players) to be easy on the little guys. We will definitely be back. read more
