We ended up here in August for a super fun private party. We had some experienced players and some people who were brand new. If you get 10+ people together then you get your own course with just your people. It makes it still fun but less intimidating to be with your friends. We had our private party and it averaged about $40/person for 3 hours of play. Rentals include helmet, gun, air, balls and a chest guard should you choose. They've got a bunch of awesome courses to choose from and you can go back and forth between them. The paint is super awesome too because since the courses are outside, the paint and shell are biodegradable so you don't feel bad shooting them everywhere. Highly recommend for any level of experience

Super fun experience. Our guide/ref was super cool and made the experience fun! Great courses to play on and yes... the shots hurt. Going home a champion though!

    Well from"low impact" paintball

Expect whelps and bruises even for low impact. If you know what to expect this place can be lots of fun. Just know that even low impact can cause wells and bruises as it did on our children. Wear layers to prevent this. If low impact can cause this I can't imagine what the regular impact will do. The kids who had layers and thick pants did fine and had fun- they really should put on their web site that people need to be dressed that way or they will get hurt!!!

Amazing. Did a private party for my sons 11th birthday. First time paint balling. Amazing ref who stayed with us the whole time. The ref (Aiden) explained process. Made the kids felt safe and made sure everyone had a good time. Loved that we had set tables for our party and we were allowed to have pizza delivered. Ref kept the party moving from field to field and the 3 hours flew by. Didn't have to share field with other players. Played tons of different games. Clear cut prices and great customer service from start to finish. On top of COVID precautions and safety rules. 100% would recommend.

The Zombie hunt was WAY cooler than I anticipated. Granted I wish we were able to run around and shoot ZombiescZombies style, this was still fun. They immerse you in this full on interactive experience where they're guiding you through a live scenario of a zombie attack! Employees are very enthusiastic and the acting is on point. I went with a group of adult friends and everyone got a kick out of it. We would def come again, great job putting this together Impact Action Sports! Oh and they put a lot of work into the scenery and halloween decorations!

Easily the best paintball field in the Portland metro area. Everyone who works here and plays here brings positive and welcoming vibes. On more than one occasion, my equipment had a malfunction and I was offered help so I could get back on the playing field ASAP. If you're on the fence about trying paintball, come out and try during a Crossfire event with open play, you are sure to see a wide range of skill levels so you will NOT be the only newbie. One can rent different levels of equipment, and there are other goods and beverages to purchase in the shop. Paint is fairly priced and must be purchased on site (you cannot bring your own). If you find that you love the sport and want to come back (maybe even once or twice a month), consider getting the VIP pass. Ask the owner, Jason, about it, but trust me it's worth it. Better than any gym pass you'll never use! Hope to see you on the field!

So my friends and I try to come by here about once a month, it's definitely a lot of fun. The staff is usually top notch, I like that they are pretty strict with the rules. Some of the staff seem kind of young, but as long as they enforce the rules it doesn't bother me. They have a little shop that has some very basic gear, and some cold drinks. I rented equipment the first time I went and felt it was in really good shape. Of course nothing can match your own stuff, but it's nice to know their stuff is pretty decent. There are four different fields: western, pallet, inflatable and junk. Junk is the worst one because it is on a really bad slope. Western town is definitely the most fun but DAMN it's like hey don't want you to play it. I've been here four times so far and I've only been to western town once. Maybe people reserve it. I do wish they had bigger fields, and that they had something a bit more interesting, like more structures or things to climb on etc. But all things considered it's still a very impressive place.

Not trying to be that guy but can you use shaped project and can you bring your own equipment and are there compressed air refills?

Don't know what "shaped project" is, but yes you can bring your own equipment and compressed air fills are available. Impact Action Sports is field paint only.

Would you recommend Splatmaster for novice 13 yr old boys? Or the standard game?

Low Impact (Splatmaster) is recommended for ages 7 to 9, Medium Impact (.50 caliber) is recommended for ages 9 to 12, and traditional paintball is recommended for ages 10+. For 13 year olds, I would recommend traditional paintball if they are "rough… Read more

In the last years, this field has made a concerted effort to increase the number of admins on the field, which improves the experience for participants. In addition, this field has put effort into clearing out the undergrowth so that participants can move around the field easier. Finally, they have added more pieces of cover around sparse areas of the field to make it more playable. While they did raise their monthly event pre-registration admission prices from $20 to $25 in the last year, it's still a very reasonable price to pay for a day out with your friends. I look forward to seeing continued improvements in the quality of this field as the owners cultivate their growing customer base.

I responded, "okay, thank you." no response. I waited thirty seconds for her to respond, and the line stayed quiet. "Goodbye," I said again, and again no response. I work a service-oriented job too, and likely a much harder one than what she does. It doesn't take much to be nice to people. This lady isn't worth your time and doesn't deserve your money.

With Airsoft becoming increasingly popular and e-commerce sites offering everything g under the sun, this place offers an excellent alternative to those options as well as supporting local small business. Unfortunately for me but good for them, I foresee myself spending far too much of my paychecks here in the future! On a side note, this is also a great place to safely help anyone interested in safe and proper firearms use. The arena enforces fairly strict gun handling policies and has no issues with taking away arena privileges from anyone who chooses not to follow those rules.

Just based on the dearth of activities for kids of a certain age out here, I know airsoft was going to come into the equation. I used to take the family's terrible 1983 Ford F-250 to the auto repair shop around the corner (now gone), and always wondered how this place was. Answer: A very mixed bag. First off, I want to thank the staff up front who was great with helping me out on this first trip. I'd done a lot of paintball back east, but hadn't had much experience with airsoft. They made sure I was all taken care of and wasn't going to be in a position where I got hurt or hurt someone else. If this was just a shop? Five stars. But the playing field itself? Absolute clown show. You run into the same issues in paintball: Either the worst players from CoD in meatbag form or guys who just want to show off for people they think are military. If you have good refs, you can negate their impact and most of you will have a good time. If your ref is one guy who's, I don't know, asleep half the time or down the block playing pinball, it's going to be miserable for everyone but the biggest assholes. First off, the mounted lights: You know you get to shine that shit in people faces exactly once before they figure it out and do something you don't like, right? Second, the squatters: Oh, you're just going to sit there and pick off people as they come out of exits? Fine... you get that once, too. Finally, the level of carny-bred bumpkin who doesn't know that bending the rules is going to be met with more bending of the rules and cheaters are suddenly going to run crying to a referee who, as mentioned before, either doesn't care or doesn't exist. Other than the schadenfreude that came during that last game, I didn't enjoy much of the time in the arena. This place treats it like an ATM and an afterthought, and I'd be really surprised if there aren't hands thrown here on weekends. I genuinely worry that this part of Washington County is starting to frown on things like this, so I don't want to be too harsh to the business. But when I see how packed the arcade/"museum" lot is compared to this place... and read the experiences of others... I get the feeling it just might end up downsizing to a shop after all.

The field is border with netting to protect people not playing from getting it. There is a lot of cover and concealment. There is a staging area with table and the shop/store. There prices are pretty good, better than other fields. If you paid for all day air they will remind you to fill before the start of every game. You have to sign a waiver but the nice thing is you can do it online. Game play is run by at least two referees, they control the games really well. They wear bright clothing so you see them and they are fair. They call out player that have been hit and just to see if player have been hit. They use whistles to let everyone know the start and end of games. They run several types of games. I use a fake bomb that must be disarmed. Looks like real and has a countdown, if you don't disarm in time it blows up (sounds an alarm). There is two way to disarm one buy pressing a button to 60 sec or pull one of four plugs. If you pull the wrong plug you blow up. Overall this place is great and I would come back. CON is the bathroom. It's a long walk down a steep hill. You have to use the camps bathroom.
