Great price and flavor I highly recommend this place for a quick bite. The sandwiches are fulfilling

    bacon, lettuce, and cheese

Went here the other day. Opened up the sandwich only to find live bugs crawling around. I've eaten here before and the sandwich was good but this is pretty bad. To make matters worse, we called back to ask about a refund and the employee's response was along the lines of "that's unfortunate" in a joking manner. Sad because this is a local joint and was hoping it would be promising. I'd recommend throwing out your day old lettuce.

Delicious! The staff were really nice and my sandwich was made very quickly. The best part of the sandwich was the bread - so soft and overall to die for. The inside was clean, and over all for $6 this sandwich was well worth it. The mayo & Italian dressing was excellent on the sandwich as well. The menu has lots of sandwich options but not many side items - chips are about it. I'd love to see a pasta or potato salad side dish one day. Would absolutely come back again!

    Where's the meat?

I was super excited to try Mr. Lucky's sandwiches after reading all the reviews. The photos make the sandwiches look robust and flavorful. Unfortunately when I got my sandwich it was the opposite, I got three pieces of turkey and a whole bunch of lettuce, a few tomatoes and pickles. I was just expecting for $12 sandwich a few more pieces of meat. Also the bread seems stale, I understand the crunchy outside and soft middle a French baguette supposed to provide. This was hardly edible:(

This place is the real deal. Delicious & fresh bread. Quick service and to top it off they have LITTLEMAN ICECREAM without the line! I ordered the French dip- it was warm, the deli meat was delicious and I love the dip on the side. Allows you to use as much as you want! I am so pleased right now and am always looking for delicious sandwich spots! If ever on the north side I highly recommend! I can't wait to try all the cold sandwiches and the rest of the hot sandwiches! Thanks guys! And welcome to the hood!

The Italian sandwich is fire! Only reason this is 4/5 instead of 5/5 is because the last time we went to Mr. Lucky's the BanH Mi sandwich was missing half of its meat/toppings.

Disappointed with the lack of meat and quality of the sandwich. I had high hopes...unfortunately the only redeeming quality was the bread.

Mark was one of the stars members during the event and he was great! He was attentive and very helpful with any questions and made sure everyone was getting enough apps during cocktail hour. I also noticed how kind and helpful all of the staff was when I was trying to get something from the kitchen in the house before the event started. For appetizers we had the arancini balls and pear crostinis and both were very flavorful and delicious. We had a watermelon/arugula salad to start off dinner and it was so fresh and perfect. The dinner rolls are dangerous bc it would be too easy to eat multiple of them. My vegetarian entree was a generous size and very filling and full of flavor. I really exited the eggplant and the sauce that was on it.

They offer a huge menu full of unique items you don't typically see from a caterer. They easily accommodated our guests with special food allergies. Two things really stood out to me, putting Hippie Chicks into the Outstanding category. Their food was not only delicious (special shout-out to curry chicken and Philly cheesesteak sliders, and fried artichokes with garlic aioli), but it was also impeccably presented. Just gorgeous. Also, the service they provided during the event was fantastic: Cindy set up, refreshed food, cleaned up plates, and packaged up leftovers, working quietly and quickly in the background. Will contract with them again.... no question.

TLDR: Unprofessional, not very gracious with mistakes and disorganized in the proposal process…read more I reached out to TBD Foods in the last week of September 2025 for a wedding in Denver in August 2026 after working with him in 2018. I am from Denver but live in CA currently and am planning from afar. Sent an incredibly detailed inquiry with day-of event timeline by hour, menu ideas, location (just a few blocks from their prep kitchen) and a bit about the event. Received two separate responses from he and his wife, Holly, seeking details already provided in my initial inquiry like guest count, location, time. Sent several emails back and forth clarifying capabilities, menu ideas, rentals etc. and finally had to set up a call in October (initiated by me after many proposal mistakes) to align. There was constant confusion regarding the style of the event and rentals - TBH, the many proposal revisions due to their mistakes maybe should have been the hint this might not be the best fit. But we went ahead! Terrence was late to the call on October 15 but let me know ahead of time and I genuinely didn't have an issue with it. After aligning, I paid $100 to have a menu tasting on Monday, December 22 when my husband and I would be visiting Denver from CA. So, this is a tasting that has been on the calendar for at least a month. When we arrived at our tasting (after confirming via email the week before and day of) 15 minutes before (6:45p) the scheduled time of 7pm, Terence is irate. Mistakenly, the event in my calendar was in PT (since we live in CA) instead of MT. He says that he refuses to serve us because we have "disrespected him and wasted his time and he has a 4-month-old at home." He continues to say that we are disorganized and lack care and that in addition to not offering a tasting, he will not put in the effort to cook for our wedding after how we've treated him. We are SUPER apologetic - this is something we've spent money on, confirmed via email and have been looking forward to. When asked why he didn't call to check on our arrival time, he said he "doesn't have my phone number. And you confirmed with Holly so that should have been enough." Because I filled out an entire inquiry on their website and spoke with him personally to schedule this tasting, it's BUCK WILD to say that you don't have my number and think sending an email is problem solving enough. We would have literally hopped in the car and been there in 15 minutes had we been given the courtesy of a phone call. All of this to say, we made a mistake, were very apologetic and were treated super rudely and given no tasting despite paying. 0/10 for TBD Foods.

So, their pricing was in line with other high quality meals and it serves 10-12, which is perfect for 8 people on Thanksgiving ;) I ordered the whole roasted turkey (they have several types of turkey available) and the side dish bundle which included mashed potatoes, sage stuffing, praline sweet potatoes, green beans almandine (with tons of yummy bacon), gluten free gravy, cranberry relish, and brioche rolls. The non-contact, drive through pick up the day before Thanksgiving was staffed by very helpful, friendly people wearing masks. They put my order on my back seat and I was through the line in less than 10 minutes. When I got home, I immediately started unpacking everything so I could divide it up into "to go" orders for my family Zoom on Thanksgiving. I thought the turkey was frozen and started to panic but when I called them, they said it was not really frozen but very chilled and the shrink wrap made it seem frozen. They had me submerge it in hot water for about an hour. The directions say to heat it in the oven for about an hour, then tent it to rest, then slice it. Since I didn't have time for that, after it warmed up, we were able to slice off enough for my daughter's family so we could give her her share when she dropped off the pies. I split up the meal 4 ways and with her pies, we delivered everything just in time for our 1:00 pm Zoom. We all had different favorites for the food but we all agreed that everything, including the turkey (after we each heated up our own part) was delicious. My favorite was the praline sweet potatoes. They were creamy and had a great praline flavor and came with candied pecans to sprinkle over the top. I highly recommend this complete meal from Tony's and it would have been so easy if we were having people over. The fact that I had to divide and package it up made it a little more difficult but still much easier than cooking. They are offering more meals for the holidays that include turkey or prime rib, beef tenderloin or Applewood smoked ham. I'm betting they are all delicious! Thank you Tony's for making my pandemic Thanksgiving so much easier! You are my new "go to" for family meals.
