I don't think he deserves even a star out of five stars. Unfortunately you have to give him a star. He has had my mower for over two years!! He says he is open from 1-5 but several times I have come out to his business during those hours and he is closed. He has posted on the door that his number receives texts, but if that is the case he must not read them. I asked him why he hasn't called me to let me know two years ago that my mower was fixed. He said he didn't have my number in his computer. He pulled out my mower and it would not start. I'm planning on leaving him my mower. He can sell it or scrap it. I'm done!!! This person/guys are NOT a reputable business. they don't answer the phone or return texts. they state their hours as 1 pm but I went back 8 times after the initial 3 times to retrieve my lawn tractor tire and their charges were excessive! I will never do business with them again and as a vocal person, I will tell all my friends the same. Beware. Stay away! read more

We dropped off our mower almost a year ago to be repaired. After 9 months we were finally able to get a hold of them by going in only to find out that they hadn't realized we wanted them to fix it. We were told they would call us to give an update in a week. That was over a month ago. Still no answer to our many calls and definitely no fixed mower. I don't know how they are still open. If we had any other options we would take it. Worst service ever! read more

I took my mower in because it was having issues and kept sputtering. After 3 weeks they returned it to me saying it was an issue with the starter. After using it one time, it started to exhibit the exact same issues as before. They kept it 3 weeks, charged me $40, and didn't fix it. read more

Wow . . . could service be any worse? Mr. Mower got paid in advance for the "special parts needed" for my rototiller. Long story short 6 months later the rototiller sat just as we left it at Mr. Mower. The parts didn't ever come ( or more likely the parts were never ordered). No money was refunded. My zdrive snapper was running bad. It took them a week to diagnose paid 80.00 for a ""carb job" took it home with Same issues within an hour. With no confidence I took it to another repair shop immediately. They pulled the shroud off of engine to access the carburetor and found large mouse nest and 2 dead mice. Still trying to figure out what a carb job is, maybe a healthy spray of carb cleaner. Very unsatisfied!!!! read more

We called them to come look at our pellet stove. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS... He worked on it for a brief while and left very quickly. While he was here he replaced a fuse and the stove was working ok until it just shut down. He told me that it needed a new fan and they would call me for a quote. Left very abruptly, I felt very uneasy about it all to say the least. All he said was we needed a new fan. After calling them for over a week I finally got the response that we need to replace the control box and fan and it was going to be over 700$. I declined... The owner was very rude to me every time I called to get a response on the quote. I call Leisure Time to come take a look at it. The technician told me it did need a new fan, it also needed a new control box because who ever put the fuse in it blew the control box because the fuse was the wrong fuse and it surged it... That was my 250$ mistake for letting this guy from Mr. Mower work on it.. They will not own up to their mistake.. Even after that was said and done, It was still 200$ cheaper then what they quoted me.. RIP OFF.... will never do business with them again. after looking at their reviews I cant believe they are still in business anyway...! read more

The worst. Avoid like plague. They charged me over $400 for unnecessary repairs without fixing what I asked them to fix. After two months waiting for them to fix what I asked the mower appeared in my yard one day with a newly broken deck I had to fix myself. I dropped off the mower on Saturday. They called Monday afternoon with an estimate to replace the thermostat. I called Tuesday and requested work be performed. Called the following Monday for repair status. Mower had been ready since Wed but I was never notified. Picked up mower. Took home and started mowing the lawn. Within 2 minutes of starting the mower started to rattle and sounded like metal on metal. Checked the blade and everything looked tight. Took back to the shop the next day and explained the situation. The manager (owner?) stated that it was the thermostat that was rattling and that is what I should expect from an entry level mower. (mower is only a little over a year old) I explained that it didn't rattle before the repair. He said they didn't replace the thermostat and that the choke arm had been positioned incorrectly and was holding the choke open (my mistake when I pulled the carb off) I confirmed that the thermostat had not been replaced and said that the overall problem I was having wasn't fixed then but the issue I had brought it in for was fixed. he told me I should have told them the problem so they could have investigated further. He reluctantly took the top part of the mower off to show me that the thermostat was the issue with the rattling. Seemed very put off by having to do this. When he pulled the top case off, a small plate on the side fell over. It had not been tightened and was laying against the top of the motor as it was spinning. They claimed they didn't take that part off (which is possible) but failed to reassemble it correctly as it clips to the top section and would not rub against the motor even of the bolt wasn't tightened. Tightened the bolt and reassembled. Mower ran great and was quiet again. Went home and finished mowing. Later that week looked at the receipt and saw that they had charged me $22 for a new thermostat, that the manager stated that they didn't replace. Went to the facility on 9/27/2013 to ask whether they did or did not replace it. The kid at the counter said the work order stated that they did replace it, but the manager and mechanic were not in. He expected the manager in that afternoon and would have him call me. That was several days ago and have never heard a word back from them. They just seem to busy to do a thorough job on the repairs and don't really seem to care about the customer after the service. Will not use them again. read more
