My son cracked the glass on his Note8. I couldn't find a local place that would do just the glass so I ended up mailing it to MyPhoneDoctor.com. In the end there's a couple of things I wish I would have known ahead of time to make a decission. 1) Time: I thought they would have it in-house for 3-5 days. It was more like 2-3 weeks. So plan on that. 2) Result: This may just be my fault and I missed it, but A, it's not Samsung glass - at least by shape, and B, you are going to have a pretty shoddy looking digitizer (under the glass) when you get it back. - I've used Samsung for years. The curves on the edges go up then curve a little. It's not major, just be aware that you are not getting OEM glass. - The ripples and whatnot under the glass were totally unexpected. I emailed them and they said it is because the digitizer is so thin. What do I know? You don't notice when the phone is on, but when it's off, wow! Which brings me to the last one... 3) Savings: $140 vs $280 sounds like a pretty good savings. However, with the shipping (one-way), the savings becomes less - more like $120-30. If I were doing it again I might just go down the street to iFixIt or similar and pick it up the next day, with a new screen and digitizer for an extra $120-30. So yeah, in terms of recommending... My iPhone13 wouldn't turn on, even with all the suggested methods from Apple. Took it to Mr Phone Doctor. They thought it was probably the battery, although it is just over a year old. Gave them a deposit on the new battery, a couple of days later (they had to order the battery) they called and said the phone was ready. When I picked it up I was told there seemed to be nothing wrong with the original battery after all, the exploration itself caused it to function properly. Since they didn't need to use the new battery they refunded my deposit. Then they cleaned the phone and gave it to me - no charge at all, not even a service charge. Who does that? Obviously a business that places customer satisfaction over profit. read more

Repair type: Front glass only, Samsung Galaxy S8. I requested the mail-in service from Texas, and though I was apprehensive about mailing my phone to someone for repair, my worries were unfounded. Javier e-mailed me when he received it, communicated with me about some minor cosmetic damage to the display underneath the glass, and offered to repair it also. Though I did not take him up on this offer, I could not be happier with the glass repair. It is seamless and the phone looks like new again. Communication with them was good at first before the repair. I had them replace the front digitizer since the LCD was still good and rear glass of my daughter's IPhone 11 Pro. After 2 weeks, there was no response or progress update. I had to continuously email them to get updates. After several emails, they stated the phone was completed and sending it back. Upon receiving it back, It was cover with glue. Easy to clean up but I would expect better from a repair company. I noticed my volume buttons were no longer button... I emailed them again about it and would take a look at it... afterward no more email respons from them. Then more issues occured, the phone started to heat up, causing the battery to swell and push out the LCD and digitizer. Majority of my money down the drain since I had to pay another repair to fix everything minus the back glass. According to new repair company, they probably poked or over heated the battery when replacing the back glass. read more

I don't recommended Mrphonedoctor Why? I send my note 9 for screen glass replacement with the original Samsung box and the box was not returned back to me Why? they say they have millions of customers box!!!hahaha. Also the new aftermarket screen glass not working with the S pen after many days try to find out what t f*** happen??? I decided to call Samsung and they replaced the screen for another one for the s pen start working...Aftermarket screen glass made S pen not working!!! A week to repair, I mailed phone to them USPS priority WITH insurance for $14 out of my own pocket and it got there in 3 days, after having the phone 9 days they send it back priority and it takes 6 days and they charge me $30 when it cost me $14. read more

After the battery came in he was able to set up an appointment the following day. He came to my house with his mobile van, and he only took 1/2 hour to replace the battery. This is just a response to Javier since there's no way I can see to respond to the business owners comment. A few things to point out. I was without the phone for more than 2 weeks with your "3 day turn around time" which is why I am not sending it back to you, which I explained on our phone call. You don't meet your given turn around times. Secondly, there really shouldn't have been any confusion on the color glass that was on the phone, if you could send me the photos you say you have so I can see maybe what you were seeing for the color. It might be a distorted color due to the cheap plastic it was replaced with and not an actual piece of glass. I can send you a link to higher quality (actual) glass if you need it, I'm not sure where you get your parts from but you should really consider switching and spending a bit more on parts to justify your prices. I assumed with the lengthy turn around time I could expect a perfect repair, which I didn't get. It was repaired, just not in any sort of quality manner. I'll be looking out for your email of the photo you were referring to, and a very doubtful partial refund since I need to have the job done again; properly this time. read more

Not sure if I just got unlucky but I went to get my cracked phone screen repaired that at the time had no Damage on the display. I paid around 240-250, which was fair. A few months later green lines started appearing on the screen. To my luck only a 90 day warranty is given. So $250 and not even a year later after the screen replacement, more lines have appeared. Maybe I just had bad luck, not sure. But 250 is a lot of money for the screen to only be in perfect condition for 3-4 months. I have refrained from leaving this review for months now because I just don't like to leave bad input. Overall the service was great, got me in and out quickly and it was easy to get an appointment.
