    Wings and fried rice

The wings in the fried rice, magnificent I've never sat in the dining, but I can tell it's nice and the service very quick and polite

This place has easily become one of my favorite places in Macon. The interior is always clean, and they have a pretty spacious seating area if you plan on eating in. I normally order online or call and go pick up. Service is always quick and food is fresh. I LOVE their wings, and phillys. The have SO many wing flavors. I've tried a few different ones and they're always good. Fair prices, good food & nice people. If you're in the area definitely check them out.

10pc spicy asian wings with shrimp fried rice

First Time Experience! I ordered the 10pc wing combo sub shrimp fried rice for fries. I chose the spicy asian wings, and they were really good. They were cooked crispy as I requested. Now, the rice had more of a harder texture. Also, I don't think I would pay an upcharge for the shrimp fried rice again. Although the shrimp were a good size, I had only three total in my rice. They do have yum yum sauce for the rice. However, I don't eat that, so I got some soy sauce packets instead. I love that the receipt has a 10% off attached for your next visit. There is an expiration date to use this. The customer service was very friendly. I would return to try more wing flavors. They have several to choose from.

The charcoal grill gives them a flavor that's completely different from typical baked oysters... smoky, buttery, and ridiculously good. If I could do it over again, I'd honestly just order multiple dozens of these and call it a day. Our next favorite was a special appetizer our waitress recommended: Jambalaya Fries loaded with andouille sausage, shrimp, and a beautiful cheese sauce/gravy. It was rich, savory, and one of those dishes where every bite gets better. We also tried the other baked oyster varieties: * Oysters Rockefeller (spinach, parmesan & provolone) * Oysters Royale (shrimp, tasso cream & provolone) * Oysters Kudzu (bacon & pimento cheese) Ranking them after the fire-grilled: Rockefeller, then Kudzu, and lastly Royale. They were all good, but the fire-grilled oysters were on another level entirely thanks to that charcoal flavor. If you go to Kudzu Seafood, do yourself a favor and get the fire-grilled oysters. Then maybe order another dozen... just to be safe.

I've given the place two visits between 2 year. Can't do a third. The place is clean and the menu is short and sweet. No reason the food and service is sub par at best. So many wonderful choices downtown that should be motivation enough to up the game. I don't mean any harm to the business, but this could be a gem in Macon. The bartenders lackadaisical attitude really sets the tone and the food finishes off the kill shot. I hate it for the owners because you can tell the owners have invested heavily.

I don't know how to describe the inside of it, it's like they're port holes everywhere like the place used to be a seafood restaurant, but then there are oddly painted walls and they played alternative music. Honestly, I'm not sure I would've put all these random things together, but the sushi was fantastic and very reasonably priced. I would come here again. I should also mention that I am celiac and called before I went in and they seemed fairly knowledgeable about what was gluten-free and what was not. They also had gluten-free soy sauce for me. So I give the place kudos for respecting that.

It is right off the freeway and parking is easy in the shared lot. It wasn't that crowded on a Friday night and we were seated immediately at a corner booth. There was lots of good things on the menu, but no mention of an all you can eat option. We ordered the filet mignon carpaccio, which came out thicker than expected and not as rare as expected but still great! I didn't know how the mango would work with the dish, but it was a nice touch. We also got the tuna tartare, which was mostly avocado and chunkier than expected. I would skip this dish. For my entree, I had the Tiger roll. It was a generous portion and loaded with fish. It tasted pretty fresh and the combo on flavors worked for me. It was about when I was done with my roll, when I overheard that there was an all-you-can-eat option. It was about the same as we had spent and I wish I had known about it beforehand. It was not advertised and our server did not mention it. Maybe they are trying to keep it on the DL. Anyway, I would have done that if I had known.

My husband and I kicked off the new year with a resolution to try restaurants we've never been to…read morein Middle Georgia, and 3rd & Cherry confidently strutted its way to the top of the list. Located in Downtown Macon, parking is available via street parking. Finding a close spot on the weekend is like winning the Mega Million, possible, but don't count on it. We lucked up on this night and found a spot directly across from the restaurant. As we made our way to the entrance, we were unexpectedly greeted by a woman passionately yelling obscenities at us. Nothing like a little downtown ambiance to set the mood. Thankfully, the heavy police presence on every corner made me feel safe enough to proceed to the restaurant. Once inside, the chaos faded instantly. We were welcomed by a gregarious and friendly staff, informed them of our reservation, and were seated immediately. On this particular Saturday, they weren't overly busy, so we even had the luxury of choosing which booth best suited our comfort level. The atmosphere is intimate and upscale without being stuffy. Think dim lighting, elegant music, exposed ceilings, and décor that says "rustic charm" but also "yes, this entrée will cost more than $30." Our waiter was professional, attentive, and genuinely pleasant, the kind of service that makes you relax and stop checking the time. We started with cocktails: I ordered the strawberry lemon drop martini, and my husband opted for an old fashioned. Both were well-crafted, smooth, and strong enough to make us forget about the crazy lady outside. For appetizers, we each ordered the crab cake. You get one small crab cake, but it was tasty and respectable by Middle Georgia standards. Entrées are à la carte, so order accordingly. I ordered the Chilean sea bass with Brussels sprouts and spinach, while my husband chose the salmon with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Both fish dishes were cooked perfectly and tasted fresh, with sauces that paired beautifully. The Brussels sprouts were crispy, flavorful, and addictive. My husband said his mashed potatoes were possibly the creamiest he's ever had. All of the food was outstanding. Dessert options include their 3rd & Cherry cobbler, cheesecake, and crème brûlée. Heads up: desserts are made to order and take about 20 minutes. Translation, order dessert early unless you're prepared to sit there long enough to contemplate life choices. The restaurant and restrooms were clean, which always earns bonus points. Overall, we had a lovely experience at 3rd & Cherry. It's an excellent choice for a special occasion, date night, or anytime you want to feel a little fancy without leaving Middle Georgia. We'll definitely be back.

After years of decreasing quality of experience at a local Kroger, I was finally forced to walk out…read moretoday, leaving a full cart order to cancel. I have come to expect a lack of staffed cashier lines (reminiscent of lesser grocery opportunities in town), and frequently out-of-inventory items (especially items which you have tempted me to purchase with coupons). However, today I struggled to even obtain service. After doing my best to complete my shopping list, again with missing inventory items, I walked to the deli for chicken. I am the only customer at the deli area (including sandwiches, salads, desserts, etc.). There were four workers doing things behind the counter. After a few moments, one offered that he would be with me in a minute. I walked away after 2 minutes of watching the 4 people do other tasks. I know everyone is busy, I get busy at work myself, but that behavior is completely unacceptable on my team. After giving up on getting chicken for dinner I went to check out. Aside from th10-15 items or less lane, only one cashier lane was lit, and it had 3 full waiting buggies. I selected self-checkout. I zipped through all of my items (buggy full, total was about $140). The last thing I had was five (5) twelve (12) packs of Power-aid. I had a rain check for these because, well, you know. Luckily there were 5 left in the store...exactly 5. I spent the next 10+ minutes working with the lady to ring up those and handle the price override. The order had to be transferred to her station. When she attempted to scan my coupons afterwards, her machine would not work. She called to another line for assistance and that lady came down after finishing up her existing customer. She verified the machine scanner was not working and moved my order to her station. As I got over there, she was scanning my coupons and I attempted to make sense of the Power-aid entries----about 32-34 lines showing Power-aid (original price, discount, remove original price, add back discount, price override). It seemed a few entries had been double voided and perhaps some added incorrectly. I spent some time trying to make sense of that from the receipt and it seemed everyone around (3 workers at this time) might be getting irritated. I was being informed "yes, there it is, you had 6 right, you see the...", I said no, I had 5. Then I realize I have been in checkout, without my chicken dinner, for over 20 minutes. It had started heavily raining in the last 3 minutes. Now I would need to walk out in the monsoon, without my chicken dinner, having my frozen items now defrosting for over 20 minutes before even making it to the car, and wondering if I had overpaid for my Power-aid....of course that assumed I could complete the purchase in a timely fashion. It was here I gave up and asked to just void the sale and I wanted to speak to a store manager. It went downhill from that point. I dropped by customer service and asked if the store manager was available. The lady did ask if she could help me, but I said no, I needed to complain. After a bit a person (Jamie Parks) did come down to talk. I explained all of the issues to him. At that point I suggested I would like to just file a complaint with the regional/district manager---I felt it important. Jamie said that the store manager was in and I could speak to him. Then it hit me, I had already asked for the store manager, yet here I was talking to Jamie. Obviously my request was about as useful as my trying to obtain service at the deli. Here I figured I would never get the contact for the regional/district manager and Jamie did not disappoint. All I was able to obtain is that I could call the Kroger on Hartley Bridge and that is where I would find that person. Really Kroger? You can do better than this.....

Does anyone really buy items here that's not food? They had the pots and pans for a premium that are basically overpriced. Last time I was there, the lines were long and someone cut themselves and there was blood on the floor. The worker rather than steering people away was annoyed at people complaining about not wanting to step on the blood on the floor. Got to love their mix and match beer by the can--not. This is just old cans of beer that didn't sell. This is the same building but with more mess and less quality. It's congested to get in, congested to get out and as far as I'm concerned, a total waste of space. It should go the way of the K Mart that used to be on the other end of this shopping center.
