Chico and Chang is easy to find and has its own parking lot. The interior is clean, and the employees were all friendly. However, the food was mediocre. I love Korean food and was super excited they have bibimbop. But the flavor was lacking and the temperature was lukewarm. The noodle dishes and tacos were decent but nothing I would return for. After reading other people's reviews, I had high expectations. Unfortunately, this place was a letdown for me personally.

My husband and I were waiting to pickup food from a neighboring restaurant and noticed Chico and Chang had excellent reviews on Yelp. Since we parked in front of the restaurant and wanted veggie spring rolls (vegetarian) we walked in and placed a order. The entire staff greeted us when we walked in. The ambiance was casual and had open seating. We ordered the spring rolls which were reasonably priced. The restaurant was clean and definitely a nice place to dine in at. One of the staff members brought our spring rolls out to us when they were done. Service was very good. When we arrived home an hour later the rolls were still surprisingly crispy and tasty. We will be back here to eat and their milk tea is on my must try list as well.

These chicken nuggets are what's poppin' for me. They are so so good. But you don't have to take my word for it. You will have to try them for yourself. I knew I was gonna definitely order these and a noodle bowl. The staff recommended the chicken noodle bowl which I'll eat later. This will be my first time trying it out. I got to remember to ask for soy sauce. She gave me yum yum sauce. I don't eat nobody's yum yum. I don't care who you are and I mean that in the nicest way. My preference is soy sauce.

someone call emergency service there has been a level 5.8 mother quake. I've had korean-mexican fusion before but nothing like this. the flavor immaculate, so tastefully paired. can't get enough of the kimchi burritos and sesame fries. the fried rice bowls are spectacular. they mix a lil soy sauce in with their yum yum giving it a stronger umami flavor. it's all so smart and well executed. this is food made with love

Spicy Pork over rice dish for $10 (and some change). It was filling and delicious. The seasoning was perfect. The pork tender.

I had a very tasty burrito previously from this restaurant that was huge and filling. They give ample portions and the ingredients are fresh. Last night i purchased the spicy pork with rice and this dish made me a convert to Chico and Chang. It was filling, well seasoned and very flavorful, and quite delicious. I will be back to purchase it again.

This is a food fast kinda spot. The people behind the counter aren't going to be overly friendly and basically get what you order and keep it moving. We came in as a group and ordered a mix of items to try them out. Initially the owner was short and barely made eye contact when we first came in, but after we started ordering she became a lot friendlier and after we sat down, brought us extra sauces to try out. The favorite was the Taiwanese fried nuggets. I've had a lot better in other parts of Georgia, but given where they are and who they primarily serve...I'll give them some slack. They were slightly on the chewy side and lacked a little bit of the crispy element that fried chicken like this should..but the flavor was there. I missed the crispy basil though. The spicy chicken plate wasn't really the level of heat it should and could have been, but overall, it wasn't a bad pick. More than likely will not be back here.

Here is another place that I really struggled with after going by the reviews. Our first time here so we ordered the popular items on the menu....sesame fries, fried wontons and Gogi fried rice. All three were a major disappointment. Fries were blah and questionable on freshness of oil used, fried rice was missing flavor and overcooked the wontons were over fried. What can I say? Service -3/5 Food - 2/5 Ambience - 2/5

We intentionally avoided reading reviews because we wanted to form our own opinion, and we're so glad we did. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed warmly by the host, which immediately set the tone for a great dining experience. Once seated, our waiter was attentive, personable, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed to care that we enjoyed our meal. The food was outstanding, the drinks were excellent. Poor Calvin's delivered from start to finish. If you're visiting Atlanta or you're a local looking for a restaurant that combines exceptional food with outstanding hospitality, Poor Calvin's is well worth the visit. Jojo was an excellent waiter and he took care of the table very well. The last time I went was the first time I went so I went ahead and had him give the list of things that were good and the perspectives on the food. He knew his stuff and did it in great detail. Trained really well. Awesome experience . I took an Uber. I don't actually know about the parking situation but you can probably find parking because of where it's at. Just keep in mind that it's in an area where it's going to be pay-to-park so don't think you're going to get away with something for free . The ambience is nice and it's a lot more elegant than what you would think. Not over-the-top elegance though, not at all, but it is very neat and well-placed. Everybody is super friendly when you come in and the establishment is very clean . Shanghai pork belly eggs - I saw something that said that the deviled eggs were good so I gave them a shot and they did not disappoint. They were super flavorful. That was almost a little confusing because you had egg there and you had it lightly deep-fried and you had pork belly and you had what it seemed to be like was jelly. It was a whole lot of flavor happening at one time. I don't have any issue with it, not whatsoever. It was a really good appetizer and you get about four of them so you actually get to taste it and then taste it again and make sure you're tasting all the flavors correctly lol . Drunken noodle scallops and lobster - so the noodles were really good. They came in a little bowl with a tea light to keep them warm. That was pretty cool as far as optics go but the food itself was good. Now when you get something like seafood you kind of expect it to be little or not huge portions but this was a different story. They had two pieces of lobster tail in there so you peel the lobster tail out and you chop it up and there was plenty of lobster meat and the scallops that were in there as well were huge. You have to be able to probably cut those in half to eat with your pasta as you use the fork in the bowl. It was plenty of seafood. There was almost more filling in the bowl than there was pasta, which is crazy! The flavor of it was sweet and savory and it wasn't as if one thing carried the dish. All the way around the dish was good. Lemongrass steamed mussels - now these are pretty good. Originally I was going to order the soup on the menu but JoJo said that the soup was basically the broth for the mussels so I just went ahead and canceled that. They were good and they were savory. They weren't the best mussels in the world but they are really good and the broth had the lemongrass flavor everywhere in your mouth. Super good. Also usually you may get like eight mussels or maybe 12 of them but this order came with like 25 of them and it was a huge order so that's not to be slept on. It came with a really toasted bread that you would use for the broth at the bottom. That broth after you finish could definitely be used for something else. Very tasty . Overall this is absolutely a stellar spot. I have zero complaints about it. The food was good. The ambiance was great. The service was superior and they might have another customer returning soon enough . It was a great fusion of food and flavors.

I also ordered Galbi ribs and fried pork belly I took the ribs and the pork belly home for another day so that I wouldn't have to cook. Everything that I ordered even when taking them home and reheating them was wonderful. The Tom Yum soup was so delicious. I couldn't wait to go back and so I went yesterday. I ordered the oxtail soup which I sat in the restaurant and ate and the Tom Yum soup to go. The oxtail soup was quite good with nice pieces of oxtail and little pork sausage balls with the rice noodles. The broth was flavorful and if you like it more spicy, you can add that at the table. The Tom Yum soup, which is lemongrass flavor with rice, noodles, small pork, sausage balls, small, thin, pork slices, and a boiled egg. The broth is so flavorful and tangy that it is my favorite and I will definitely be back many times to get this soup. They have a huge selection of soups that I plan on trying and I'm looking forward for comfort foods for the winter. I definitely recommend trying this place. It has a lot to offer or not just soup but other main dishes and also noodle dishes. I will say make sure you have the time to wait because if it's busy there will be a wait. I noticed that people didn't seem to mind the way because apparently the food is so good. It's not a pretentious place. It's in a small side mall with about four booths to sit out and a long table that spans the length of those four booths with stools to sit on. The decor is Japanese cartoon inspired with paintings on the wall and lots of items that you can buy with the same cartoon inspiration. It is quite cute and young and old seem to be enjoying it.
