I love this takeout place. Since moving to Macon, it's become my go to spot. The food is always fresh and so delicious. I normally call ahead because it's about a 15 minute wait after your order is placed. The people are really nice and the portions are always a good size. The only downside I would say is that you can't eat inside it is a to go only restaurant.

Egg Fu Young

Until now I've had mini issues with this establishment. Today I ordered Egg Fu Young for the first time and it was burned. Went to ask for a remake and the owner argued it was the grease. My rebuttal was that your grease sir is too hot and the dish tastes burnt. Well in typical Asian fashion, there was no pleasing the customer! After all I'm just one right.

The cashier was nice. The inside was clean. I ordered the chicken wings and shrimp friend rice with no peas or carrots honestly I feel as though Mings has fallen off it was decent not good as it used to be The shrimp egg roll was Great it still tasted the same. The sweet and sour chicken and fried rice my son said it was mediocre.

General tso dinner plate (sub lo mein, egg roll included)

The only reason I left 4 stars is because they can't take foot traffic, there is only drive thru or walk up to window, which is on a dimly lit thru alley, so I felt a bit sketched out on that end of the shopping center. Also, I tend to reseeve five stars until I find consistency. The phone call for take out was pleasantly efficient. At the time being, they may be short staffed, or they are just that busy! Google reviews are high and we were there so we checked it out, starting with some basics. General Tso sub lo mein for rice and Sesame chicken, same. Qt. Hot and sour soup, extra egg rolls and an order of spring rolls ran us about $38. It fed our army quite nicely. The soup has a very robust beef base. It is good but unexpected. Chocked FULL of ingredients, there was not a bite that didn't offer umami goodness with a perfect amount of heat. Chicken dishes were just as they should be flavor wise, and plentiful. The sesame really came through. Lo mein also chocked with veggies. Very happy and will return!

My family and I decided to order to go this time and we were so displeased. The egg fu yung was full of more onions than egg, the shrimp fried rice had WAY less shrimp than previous ones and the combination platter was disappointing. Due to improper packaging, the prawns and egg rolls were soggy from the teriyaki sauce that was for another appetizer. I forgot the name of the young man I spoke with when I called (2/21 @ 6:06pm), but he was rude and condescending. I no longer live in Macon but my family and friends do. I have and will continue to share this negative experience with them. Getting bad food is understandable, maybe it was an off day. I did not call to request a refund, I was merely calling to express concern. Being rude and nonchalant is not the way to retain customers. Do better Mandarin Garden!

Beautiful restaurant, terrible drinks with literally NO alcohol, very bland food, no cashews in…read morethe cashew shrimp, even after asking why she said we were wrong. And we ordered fried rice and got white rice with 6 peas in it. When we asked about it she lied and said it was fried rice but without soy sauce. Ridiculous waste of money , time and brain power.
