We hired Robert in July to paint the interior walls of the house we had just purchased. We also had him install new baseboards throughout, as well and some other miscellaneous items like removing some crown molding, installing a j-box in the ceiling of one of our bedrooms, and painting a few interior doors. He is very friendly, and we felt very comfortable with him. There were no worries about he and his crew having access to our house while we were away. This was the first time we'd hired a painter, so we didn't have much to reference as far as pricing goes. While we feel we probably could have saved a few dollars with another company, we were more than happy with the results. Replacing the baseboards in the entire house was quite a project, and they did an amazing job with them. The detail on the paint/trim is just as you'd expect from a professional painter. They re-textured the walls after removing some crown molding. Flawless execution. You'd never know it was there before. He estimated 3 weeks for our 2,000 square foot home, and he delivered...finishing 1 day before that. His crew did a good job cleaning up after themselves. They painted a entire house for me and final finish was decent . There were some final details they missed which I pointed out but were finally addressed as promised. I reached back out to them for some extra work at the same house and they didn't completely respond and left me hanging for two days. I guess someone who thinks getting the job done 100% is one that is getting extras/favors like the owner said. Overall job will get done but watch out for the details. My parents were in over their head with a company that had been doing home repairs for them in Newport Beach. I volunteered to take care of the painting for them, because of all the problems they had with this company, and contracted Robert based off his yelp reviews. He came out the next business day and evaluated the house as well as gave me a detailed list with pictures of everything that was wrong that the other company did. Although I would have liked to have used Mr. Lopez, my parents were under contract with the other company and had already paid. Had I known this I would have not wasted Mr. Lopez's time, however after explaining the situation to Mr. Lopez I found him very professional and understanding. Additionally, I was able to use the evaluation he did to help protect my parents and get the poor work corrected that this company did. Although we did not go with Mr. Lopez this time, I will definitely be using him in the future because of two reasons 1.) he was very professional and 2.) he cared about my family whom he had never met. They moved things and did not put them back some of them were ruined in the rain. We found tape that had not been removed,paint on the plants and sidewalk. Robert and his crew painted my residence a few years ago and the quality of work was outstanding. When my rental property was due for a makeover, I called him again and we went over the job details the next day.
