I am going to consider this my go-to place for tires now. I bought a car in November and it needed new tires. I replaced my rear two tires first so I didn't have to hit my bank account too hard before Christmas. Paul gave me a quote over the phone (best deal I found as well) and was spot on with what he told me as far as price. I came in Saturday morning to replace them. I was too late to make the first shipment of tires for the day - they had to order mine special because of a semi-odd size. If you wait in the waiting room they give you priority so I did that. They were very busy, so I suggest asking when order times are. I had missed the 9:00 order so they couldn't send out for my tires until the 12:00 shipment, so it sucked that I was waiting since 9:20. I waited about three hours and watched their business transactions until my order came. They were always very polite, really laid out all options to each customer, and Paul calls all the guys "big cheese" which I kinda like. He always called women "young lady," even very elderly women. I liked that too! I came back today to replace my front two tires to keep it even and this time left my car while I ran errands with my husband. Steve took my order and was very prompt. He gave me a two hour wait and called me just under two hours after dropping it off. Spot on again. They were still very busy but Paul took the time to answer my husband's questions about replacing his tires on his trailblazer and even took us in the back to compare tires he was considering. He went over quality, specs, and pricing and seemed very honest and upfront about the pros and cons of each. I am going to recommend Mr. P's to everyone who asks for a good tire place. The only downside is the extremely narrow parking lot, but the hassle is worth it! read more

Saturday morning is first come, first served at Mr. P's. That's no joke. My low pressure light kept coming on so I came in to have my troubled tire looked at. We came in after 8am and there were already people waiting for service. When we got to the front of the line they said it would be about a 2 hour wait for service. It was a cold Saturday and I set aside the morning to have this taken care of so it wasn't a problem. You can wait there with your car or you can drop it off and come back when they are finished. I dropped off and the process was easy. The guys are nice and business is straightforward. I got a call about 2 hours after I dropped off saying the work was finished and the price for the repair. When I arrived my car was sitting outside waiting to be driven away. It was a mere resealing job on my tire, $20 later my tire is sealed and I don't have that pesky light on. Worth it. Will keep this place in mind for future tire replacement service. read more

2 experiences came in with some dry rotted tires on one car, nearly broke, I got a used set for 60 bucks to tide me over, 60 flat... I was ecstatic that they hooked me up on my messed up budget so I could get to work. Same manager in #2 hooked me up. #2 Got a fresh set of tires in one day here for my ride, you tell them the profile and your usage and the shop manager who handle's the front end is always around talking about his racing circuit days and chatting up everyone waiting for their car. He used to do tires and dirt track racing at the famous Hales Corners Speedway. The deals, are good. You tell them your price and usage needs and they really understand. No shop to date for specialty in tires has treated me remotely as good... just one of these gems... 4 stars because their lot is cramped for their many bays... I almost got clipped by a customer, but they are solid as a business. read more

As a woman, I can tell you dealing with Mr. P's has not been awesome. Not only is the customer service subpar, their prices for switching tires out are much higher than I expected. Even if the cost for the tires is average or below, I'm going to spend my time and money going to a shop that has a filing system and customer service. If anybody from Mr P's Tire is reading this... Don't EVER call one of your female customers "sweetie" again. You're going to lose that customer. read more

The store is just not staffed to spend a lot of time with people. If you know the tires you need, can leave your car, and want a good price, go here. If you need customer service, don't. They may not even answer your call. My experience was fantastic. I new the tires I wanted, dropped the car off early, left my keys in the drop box, and picked it up after work. Done. read more

Absolutely in awe with the level of service I received from Mr Ps at their Kinnicknick Avenue location today. I had my daughters car towed to their location this afternoon. No sooner had I gotten back home and settled back into work when I received a call from Ramon telling me the car was ready. All I could say was...are you kidding me? I asked if the other front tire was OK and he suggested it be replaced at the same time. I said OK and he said it would be ready in 20.minutes. Awesome experience and service. My dad was very worried about the tires on my car in winter weather, so he did a ton of research -- looked up recommendations for my car and model year, called different places to find out what they had, compared prices and told me to go to Mr P's because they had the best tires at the best price (Side note: Wish I could write a review for my dad. Five stars.) My very meager research showed he was right and when I called Mr. P's to set up a time to get tires they remembered talking to him and were all set to help me. They advised me to show up just before opening since it's first come, first served. I wasn't the first one there, but they got me in the line up and I was able to leave my car while the new tires were installed (someone picked me up and we went for breakfast at Open Flame down the street). They called when the car was ready (about an hour and a half later -- exactly what they told me) and it only took about 10 minutes to check out and be on the road. The tires are great. There were a bunch of complaints online about the standard tires for my car (Dunlops) and Mr. P's recommended Yokohama instead, which were cheaper with a higher mileage and much better reviews. I've had them about month and they are great on the snow, slush and ice. read more

I have been going to Mr. P's Greenfield/ Hales Corners Hy 100 location for years... I can say this, listen ladies the staff at this location go all out to get you what you need with out the phony baloney! you actually can understand what the products are all about so YOU can make the best decision for you. Whether you drive a top of the line car, SUV, truck or the "Bomb of the neighborhood" been there myself, they respect and treat you the same way, you get the same high service! I have come there with my personal cars as well as my "fleet" cars for work. Always the same great service. No matter if it is a "flat fix" one tire or all 4 new tires. When I was broke and they couldn't help me with new tires, they suggested a plan that worked for the time at hand until I could afford new tires. (a wonderful and appreciated outcome) Simply put "some of the very best customer service I have had in 20+ years!" Go see them, the place isn't pretty, don't be afraid. Paul (the man I had the pleasure of dealing with) was sent from tire heaven! I called utterly distressed about having to replace my tire which I did before at Goodyear (boooo) but Paul walked me through the different types of tires and which would work best for me. He was friendly and honest. When I got there I gave him the wrong tire size but come to find out the correct tire size saved me money and they were able to fix me up in about 15-20 mins. They have great prices but do not take appointments. So you will either have to drop off your vehicle or sit there.

Got some new tires on my 05 grand Cherokee a few months back. The next day my left front tire was flat, not just low but completely flat. I went in and they took the tire off and fixed it because of a faulty valve stem. They still leak more air then new tires should. Several months later and I'm getting 1200 dollars worth of repairs on my car because apperently I've been driving on a wheel that wasn't tightened properly for the last couple months. Did I mention it's the same wheel they took off to fix back when it was flat? read more

The whole staff is very helpful and friendly. They know tires better than anyone in town that I have dealt with. When I go to big box stores they always look stumped and like they have to say something that sounds good. This place seems to know everything, even what every other place does and charges. I think these guys know a little too much about tires, but it is all they do all day so it makes sense. If you want to pay twice as much and get less you can go somewhere with a big building, parking lot, and lights if you want. Better service and value then anywhere I've been. I stopped twice on the way to Mr. P's to put air in a slow leak, so I could get back to Mr. P's since they had always taken good care of me in the past. Paul sent me home on a spare because it turns out I had the wrong size tires on my Tribeca. I came back the next day with my old receipts, fearful the promise would be forgotten, but four new tires later and I felt like I was stealing from them... but it was simple for them, one of their guys made a mistake, and they didn't flinch about making it right. I challenge anyone to find that kind of service anywhere: tires, mechanic, retail, or even where you work. Anyone who gripes about Mr. P's either came in with a bad attitude or unrealistic expectations, because for me honesty and patience has always been met at Mr. P's with excellent service and integrity. I love the fact that they are a small shop with the stones to send you walking if you don't value their advise or shop rules, because I have seen them even before this stop, flip the TV to a kid friendly station as a courtesy without being asked, when a mom comes in and waits for her car. To have a business you can run exactly how you belive it should be run. Send everyone you know, because for Tires, there is no shop better than the guys at Mr. P's on Hwy 100 just south of Layton!!! read more
