I've bought multiple sets of tires here and have always been taken care of. With my first set I had a puncture that turned into a sidewall disaster. My bad on that. Called them, they looked up my account and had the new tire on order and my appointment set within minutes. 250 dollar tire, plus mount and balance for a 17 dollar tire insurance renewal. With my second set the tires I wanted were discontinuted. They notified me pretty early in the process and I was able to keep my original appointment time. The substitute were a bit more expensive but they extended a rebate to me to help offset the cost. I actually recommend these guys to anybody who needs a tire shop. Bought tires here with a 70,000 mile warranty for our Jeep Renegade Trailhawk with free rotation included. Drove down an hour to their location for a rotation and they refused to rotate the tires because the front tires had too much wear on the inside for their liking. That's literally the point of rotating your tires to try to maximize their life and get them to wear more evenly. The tires were well under the 70,000 mile mark and that was dismissed too as being "mechanical wear" so it wasn't covered. Duh. All tire wear is mechanical. So no tire rotation and no warranty coverage. I've bought several sets of tires here and always had a good experience until I actually needed some service, then I just got a smiley refusal. Done with Discount Tire. Might as well just buy the cheapest price from any installer if there's no service after the sale. read more

I arrived for my appointment a few minutes early. Hunter greeted me with a smile in the parking lot as I exited my vehicle. He confirmed my on-line purchase and pulled my vehicle in right away for a complete set of Pirelli P7 All Season Plus 3, size 235/40R/19 for my Honda Accord. I was advised the job would be completed in about 30 minutes. I told Hunter that I would walk over to Panera Bread in the meantime. He didn't appear to be pleased that I was leaving the store. He suggested a new set of wiper blades. I declined as the wiper blades are in very good condition. After about 30 minutes, I received a message from the tech regarding excessive corrosion near the center cap area of the rims. The rims were in storage for about four years, so I wasn't surprised of any corrosion. DTC has a standard procedure to remove any debris/corrosion from the center cap area using a rotary tool, when replacing tires. Performing this level of service is nothing special at DTC; however, nevertheless I did appreciate the attention to detail. Begs the question, why call me? Looking for a tip or perhaps an excuse to justify the delay. I returned to the store, less than an hour to inquire with Hunter on the status. He told me they had to re-do one tire because it was installed backwards with "outside" facing the inside of the vehicle. This occurred he said because they were training a new tech. I was in-and-out in a little over an hour, which is really what I expected. Immediately, after I left DTC I did my own "air pressure check". Not one tire had the same pressure! The range was 34 to 38. I set all four tires to 35 psi. I had black metal valve caps on all four tires. One of the valve caps (front passenger) was replaced with a cheap plastic cap. They probably lost one during the course of the job. Judging by the scuff marks this was most likely the tire that was put on backwards. Also, I noticed a large amount of tire lube on each of the tires. So with a somewhat critical review, then why give four stars? DTC priced match to Sam's Club on a set of premium tires, addressed the corrosion issue (so that the wheels are in perfect balance with no vibration) and during the course of the installation (duck head) did NOT damage my sport rims. My personal experience tells even with these shortcomings, DTC is better than the competition. read more

Done business with them for several cars, I must say I don't know in this day and age how they have employees that are polite, professional, knowledgeable. Found prices to be very competitive. The back up everything they sell. Only on problem is if you want to make an appointment you must do it on line if you want to get in sooner than later and you have to do it yourself if you show up and pick out tires and then want to set up an appointment the staff can not help you with the on line appointments. You have to sit down and do it on your phone. Other wise if you do it at the counter the appointments available are very far out. Just dose not make sense why the people there can not just go on line and do it for you while you stand there. ???? Its a corporate thing and the employees who serve you have no say. Great service and helpful staff, but the music in the lobby I can do without today. I feel Ike I've been stuck in an 80's movie training montage and I'm exhausted! Seriously though, it's worth the 30 minute drive out for me. They take great care of customers and are honest and up front without being pushy with sales. I love that the still offer socially distanced seating for those who wish to wait. Seats are spaced out at least 6 feet and grouped no more than two together. There's also a cooler with free bottles of water for thirst attacks. I also peeped several available outlets in case you need to charge your phone while you wait - if you brought a charger and cable along. You are able to wait in store or leave to do errands or grab a bite to to eat in the area. The techs keep you updated on the status of your cars work by text so it's a great way to track how far along in the process it is. I really appreciated this as I was waiting in store and didn't have to pester the guys at the counter who were very busy on the day I visited. My wife and I needed a new rim for our spare tire immediately. I had a lot of trouble finding a new or used rim anywhere. Until I found Waukesha Discount Tire! They had what we needed in stock and said they could get us taken care of promptly. My wife offered to drive a hour and twenty minutes after work to get to the store. We had a tire to put on the new rim. When she got there the staff had the rim but realized they could not install our outdated tire. Now she was now faced with purchasing another tire. Everyone she dealt with was professional, kind and provided good information. However, after a long drive and the disappointing news about the tire my wife was beyond frustrated with the process. At that point, CJ Howard, one of the managers, stepped in to resolve the problem. He did a masterful job handling the situation. He worked it out in a professional, efficient and very generous way. I called the store to reschedule and Joel got me an appointment for the next day. I promised to bring him a coffee for making it happen so quickly. I got to the store at 8am, with a line forming before the doors opened. When we got there, not a flake on the ground, by the time I left a little over an hour later, with my new snow tires, snow everywhere, cars with spinning tires unable to make it up hills. I am the proclaimed Tire Problem Queen. With my Prius, I think I had at least 10 new tires over 4 years (two blow outs, half a dozen flat tires, one accident) so I have been to my fair share of tire shops. I live in downtown MKE and struggle to find shops that are fair and honest with the work and the price. I got a new 2020 Hyundai Kona less than two months ago and was so frustrated when my tire pressure light came on last Friday (I continue my reign as Tire Problem Queen). So begrudgingly I began researching a place to get the tire checked out. A friend recommended i try and find a Discount Tire location since he had such a great experience working with one in Michigan. The closest location to me was 20 miles from my house in MKE....but I was willing to give it a shot. I am SO glad I did. I drove the 30 minutes to the shop and they came out to my car wearing a mask (review is written during COVID), checked every tire, and got started with the problem tire right away. They were so friendly and easy to talk to. Less than 20 minutes later, they came back to me and told me I had a nail in my tire (Milwaukee streets are fun) but they plugged and patched it and it was all good to go. I got back in my car and asked what I owed them and the very friendly technician told me I was all set and didn't owe a thing...I was shocked. The visit was honestly the best part of my week. Everyone was kind, wore a mask, and they repaired my tire for no cost. I am from a small town but I have been living in the city for so long that I forget how kind and generous local service businesses can be. Thank you, Discount Tire! I was really impressed how quickly they got my tires. I ordered online and the next morning they called me saying they have them. We set up an appointment. They got me in about 15 mins after my appt time. The place was super busy! They said to hang around and they'd be done in 20 mins. It was 50 minutes. Not sure why. I was really impressed with everyone's hustle until I noticed the scrapes on my wheel. See pics. I don't live close to discount tire but I keep dealing with them because of the great service and competitive prices Had issue with tire pressure indicator not working right and figured it would take me a couple of hours to get it fixed. Discount tire was very busy when I went there First off clerk got his thingy that resets the computer. Bingo. It worked. So I spend all of 5 mins in the store and drive home with piece of mind. No charge to reset it Discount tire I have found is the cheapest place to get tire pressure sending unit. The battery in the sending unit is a watch type battery and the tire has to be taken off. Can't be replace at home. They get $60 for unit and just over $20 for labor. Most place get over a $100. Or more. Have gotten tires from discount tire and they do price match. Bottom line. Recently used Discount Tire to replace the wheels on a 4Runner we recently purchased. I shopped for wheels on their website, and called the store when I found them cheaper somewhere else. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was very helpful and ordered the wheels while we were on the phone. He did warn me that the wheels were coming from California, so it might take a bit longer than the 1-5 day timeframe, but the wheels came in a few days later. I received a call when the wheels came in, and I was able to make an appointment two days later. I was advised the appointment would take 1-1.5 hours, but I was in and out in less than an hour. Extremely pleased with how the wheels look and my experience with Discount Tire. I was amazed at how quickly and efficiently everyone was working while I was there. I am leaving a five star review because that is the most I can leave. One thing I did want to point out was that they were also accommodating to walk-ins. While I was there, I saw interactions with three people who were looking for assistance that day. I had great service every time so I expected to have the same level of service at their Waukesha location. I was not disappointed... After I'd researched All-Season tires online I decided to make the purchase and scheduled an appointment for the following week. Two days after my order was placed I received a call letting me know the tires I'd chosen had just been discontinued and offered a few different recommendations. After some hesitation with their comparable tire recommendation I decided to go with it even though there were no reviews online yet. They said if I didn't like the tires after a few days of use I could bring them back and they'd switch them out for some new ones. Now that's customer service! I cannot say enough good things about this establishment. I was a patron before COVID, but their response to the pandemic has me especially impressed. ALL employees wear masks, customers pull their own cars in so the employees don't have to enter the vehicle, and complimentary hand sanitizer everywhere. These guys always do a great job and have fair pricing, but I truly appreciate how safe I felt going there at the peak of the pandemic. 1111 Spring City Ln Waukesha, WI 53186 United States Ordered tires last week got confirmation emails and appointment set up. I drove 45 minutes to this Discount Tires to get told the tires are not there despite getting order and appointment reminders. In speaking with the Senior Assistant Manager CHRIS LETTS he did not offer any type of apology or discount on the services. Yet he was disgruntled that I was putting him at what seemed to be an inconvenience for him. I simply asked to then just know when the tires would be there and when can I schedule to his response of being "I don't know". I couldn't not believe that I couldn't even get a date on when I could install the tires I purchased because they had no clue to when the tires would arrive. He even had the courage to flip around his screen to show that my purchase of tires have no tracking number in there system. I then had to specify for him to call me so I can set up an appointment and the fact that I was the one that had to suggest this was ridiculous. No discount or even a coupon was provided for my loss of time. Chris Letts should find a new line of work because he just doesn't believe in providing customer service and it shows through not only his communication but appearance. I look at every sight, every online place that you can buy tires and every local place you can buy tires and nowhere could compare to the prices at discount tire. The only bad thing about this store is trying to get in contact with and a sales associate. I guess the other thing also is it I wish there was a discount tire closer to Milwaukee or in Milwaukee. They are fast pace fast moving installation place. It's like watching a circus installing tires and wheels on vehicles. I called to have one of my discount tires checked for a leak. The rep told me they were booked but if I came in Two days later, just before opening at 8am he would have the team get right on it. I arrived at 7:45am two days later and was told I needed an appointment. When I told him about my conversation from two days earlier he asked who I had talked to and when I couldn't remember the name he insinuated that I was lying to him. The Lousy attitude and lack of inter-personal skills by not one Mgr but two Mgrs that day Admittedly caused me to lose my cool like I never had . I left without my tire fixed and will never return.
