Mr.Puebla tacos catered at my work the other day and gotta say, these tacos were excellent! You have your choice of meat (brisket, chicken, steak) and then you have the choice of the toppings. DO NOT, and I repeat DO NOT miss out on the honey jalapeño. Good lord, it was perfectly balanced. I regret not getting all my tacos with the honey jalapeño. Add yourself a side of queso and chips and you are set! Great place, highly recommend!

Chicken tacos with no onions

My husband brought home some dinner for our family from the food truck Mr. Pueblo Tacos at Fortnight. He got some chicken tacos with no onions for me and the ACP for the little one. I think he ate the chips before he got home so I didn't get to try them. Everything was really tasty. The chicken had a nice flavor and seemed to be grilled perfectly with fresh cilantro. The ACP was delicious and I loved the melted cheese on top of everything. I'd definitely eat here again!

This is my favorite Raleigh food truck! Everything I've had is delicious. I'm particularly fond of the steak tacos and have been since the first time I had them three months after they started up, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I mostly recently tried the quesabirria tacos and was so glad I did! They were massive, cheesy, beefy, and the dipping broth was great. I would eat here every day if I could, and I am always happy to say hi to Carlos and his lovely staff when I find they're nearby. Well worth trying!

Chicken quesadilla with guacamole and chips.

Today was my lucky day! The PTA at my school hired Mr. Puebla Tacos for lunch, and it was delicious. We had our choice of tacos or a quesadilla, and I chose a quesadilla loaded with chicken. It was so big, I saved half for lunch tomorrow. The chicken was nicely grilled, the tortilla was crisp, and the side of guacamole and chips was fresh. The service was very friendly, and we had our orders within five minutes, which is almost unheard of. The entire staff was happy with their meals, and I hope to see this truck and sample their full menu soon!

Food Truck Time: Mr Puebla Tacos at Bombshell Beer Company Our experience with Mr. Puebla Tacos was A-OK. The food was good, not great. The tacos were not the best [they lacked flavor] but the veggie rice bowl made up for it. I think this food truck has potential so I'd try it again if it was at a spot I was visiting.

We tried their quesadillas and chips with guacamole and salsa when they were parked at Koka Booth. Quesadillas were average and I was not a fan of the guacamole (no flavor), however, the chips and salsa were great! I personally was craving chips and salsa so these really hit the spot. Our order was accurate and made in a reasonable amount of time. It is pricy, but typical for a food truck. It definitely was great having them at Koka Booth to provide additional food options and reduce wait times for food. I would like to visit this food truck again to try some of their other options!

Cali quesadilla (I already ate a piece!)

Delicious. Fresh. And filling. Had the pleasure of trying Mr. Pueblas at Mason Jar Lager company and it did not disappoint. We started with an appetizer to try it, chips and queso. Chips are nice and crisp and flavorful. Queso was nice and warm and good consistency. Then we tried their burrito, quesadilla and ACP. Wow. It's very good.

We got yams, collards and cabbage. Seasoned well. The wings came with seasoned crinkle cut fries. They were good. We got lemon pepper dry rub. The sweet tea was good as well. Now the service. The service was....okay. I hate to say anything bad because I plan to come back, I'll just place my order and do a pick up. We waited at least twenty minutes to get the check, and another fifteen to get our cards back. They have a lot of to go orders, and they seem to take precedence over the in-house orders. The place is clean and comfortable, with hip hop playing which is right up my alley. I'll give it another chance at a later date.

Second time spending my money here and the LAST TIME!…read more False advertising on their website where we are required to place pickup(to go) orders. Thursday night fish and shrimp special. Advertised $17.99. I was charged $19.99. After bringing to the cashier's attention she immediately went into defensive mode and advised "I don't know whats online but what you were charges is what it cost!" Mind you I showed her employer's website and she even took my phone to go through the order process on her own! Ma'am, I don't need to lie about $2. I know the economy's bad but I just ordered over $60 worth of food and drinks! I'm good over here! She stood there batting her extended eyelashes and told me there was nothing she could do and kept referring to the online price being correct even though their website shows different. The quickest way to lose my business is to fail to acknowledge a customer's concerns. Dismissive attitudes, and doubling down even with facts presented. I run a company and wouldn't come close to hiring the cashier who I presented this issue. No offer to me to speak to a Manager! Nothing! Just batting her eyelashes and smacking on chewing gum! To add injury to insult, I checked my food and I was missing the extra piece of fish that I paid for. Again, this "cashier' tried lying again by telling me that fish is sold by the pound and only AFTER I presented her with my receipt that she already had access to did she relent and that was ONLY because another lady who was much more customer friendly came from the kitchen to apologize to and confirm that she had neglected to add my other piece of catfish! Again, Ms "Cashier" casually walks off with no apology acknowledgement or anything. Note-this was the SECOND they did this as they 'forgot' to add my extra piece of fish on my order. Mind you the extra fish is $10.75 for CATFISH!!! Seems like a pattern for this business! Bag up the order. Tie it up tightly and hope the customer doesn't check until they're home and by then it's too late to try to return and if you call to report food missing, I'm certain "Ms. Cashier", will just deny and lie, indicating that all the food was in the bag when she's not even the one cooking or bagging it up! Just the money taker! BUYER BEWARE! Needless to say, I got my food and left immediately and sitting in my car fuming writing this feedback! NEVER AGAIN FATBOYS!!!!! I tried! You only get ONE SECOND CHANCE WITH ME! SEE YA!

Downtown Raleigh Food Truck Rodeo 9/13/2025…read more My wife ordered the "Loaded Fries" it turned out to be fries with chopped up Brisket on top... Hardly what I would consider as "loaded". the Fries were nothing special, the usual "Fast food Frozen Fries". The Brisket had very little flavor and what you could taste was Metallic, and not flavorful. When she tried to take it back, after observing the attendant refund money to another set of customers that were unsatisfied with the quality and taste of the food the "Proprietor/Owner?" got disrespectful with her then put his hands in the food and told her that there was nothing wrong with the food and would not refund her money. Apparently this guy is/was a SgtMaj. If so the most disrespectful SgtMaj I've ever had the displeasure of encountering. He is a disgrace to the Marine Uniform My advice avoid this place at all costs.

But where was I? Well, here twice. Once I had the pile of meat mentioned above, and another I got meat on lettuce that was... wait, did I? Forgettable. The pile of meat was nicely cooked, nothing dry or tough, no chicken brought within degrees of sawdust for the sake of food safety. The Palomas are tasty and a good use of Tajin. The servers wear their tenure on their faces. They've been doing this so long they've become a bit plastic. Attentive, but you feel more like baggage on a conveyor than their guest. We were excited to meet up with family at A Toda Madre. The place was incredibly close to our hotel…read morewhich is a big plus and has a large, spacious and beautifully decorated dining room. The positive reviews drew me here so we were looking forward to some authentic Mexican food. We came on a Saturday night, fairly late in the evening because, let's be honest, us Miamians do everything late. We were told there would be a wait for a large table, but the host was very attentive and suggested seating us in two separate booths across from each other for quicker seating. He did mention there would be live entertainment starting soon but little did we know....Since we had two children with us, including a baby who was already exhausted and asleep, we happily agreed. Although the booths were directly across from one another, we later discovered hearing each other was going to be a challenge. Before I get to that, let's talk about the food. After reviewing the very lengthy menu, we joked that it felt like the Mexican version of a Cheesecake Factory menu. Thankfully, our choices stood out and were quick to pick what we were feeling for. I ordered the Mexican Burrito, stuffed with steak, shrimp, chicken, and rice. It was huge, so I could only manage half of it. Hubby went with the Mar y Tierra tacos, and those grilled corn tortillas really elevated the his steak and shrimp. It was served with rice and black beans and was packed with flavor. Now, the reason I didn't give five stars was unfortunately because of the live entertainment. A local Mexican band arrived to perform for the rest of the evening. Normally, I really love any form of entertainment. I'm from Miami, so a lively atmosphere is almost expected. Unfortunately, this was just way too loud and made it nearly impossible to hear anyone at our table. Even the waitress had to come within breathing distance to take our orders, and we definitely couldn't hear our family sitting in the booth across from us. The band itself was actually awesome. They sounded great with has amazing energy, had customers singing along, and even got a few couples up dancing. It was just incredibly loud. Our baby deserves a special shoutout because he somehow slept through the entire thing without even flinching. I honestly have no idea how. On a scale of 1 to 10, the noise level was easily a 15. It's the one thing I can't overlook because we were really looking forward to catching up and chatting with family, and that simply didn't happen. That said, the food was delicious, the service was excellent, and we left with plenty of leftovers to enjoy the next day.
