This is, hands-down, the towing company you need to call if you're reading reviews and trying to…read moremake an informed decision. Here's why: Our alternator decided to die in Bradenton, of all places on the Manatee River bridge, so we spent a HARROWING hour on the side of the interstate, trying to diagnose the issue and ultimately calling a tow truck. We were stuck standing on a narrow strip of concrete between the truck (in the breakdown lane) and the side of the bridge watching cars going at 70-80 mph, many of them veering into the breakdown lane (likely distracted by looking at the water or their phones) only to notice at the last minute that we were stalled there (with no electronics and no ability to put on hazard lights) then swerving back into their lane to avoid us, it was unnerving, to say the least. We called a tow truck, and, in short order after placing the call, an angel of a tow truck driver arrived - Scott, of Scott's Towing. Scott immediately ushered us to safety in his tow truck and had us handled and off the interstate in a matter of minutes. We coordinated a drop-off & next-day repairs with another really nice young man at a repair shop (Cameron at Tire Choice). Now, my husband can fix anything mechanical, and had we been near his wide array of tools, he could have done the work himself, but that's not how the story went. So, after depositing our car outside the repair shop, Scott spent another 45 minutes or so with us, loaning us what tools he had and helping us to determine if there was any quick fix that could be done. When we concluded it was the alternator and could not be fixed on the spot, Scott insisted on driving us to a hotel. He thoughtfully helped us to select a lovely and historic Hilton/Hampton Inn downtown and within walking distance of restaurants and other places we might need as we waited out the repair. His towing fee was SUPER reasonable, very fair, and though we tipped on the tow, Scott refused our offer of an additional tip for his continued kindness and assistance. Scott is one of a kind in the world of towing and beyond - just a really good human who really cares about helping others, and we highly recommend him and his business if you find yourself in need of a tow.

What should have been a pleasant and 2 minute interaction to allow me to retrieve an item from my wrecked car was instead was infuriating. He talks to women as if they were a dog, no greeting, only glaring at you and ordering you to sit, not responding to simple and normal questions or statements, instead only to mumble a partial question back and then getting angry. When I told him that I was blocking the exit for a large truck, he yelled back well they can just wait. As the truck continued to honk, I repeated it again that I am blocking the exit, and that I would like to go move my car, only for him to yell just do what you want. And then to say OK I guess you can move your car. The only thing he should have done was verify who I am and allow me to retrieve an item out of the car. Instead, I went to move the vehicle that I was driving and on the way took the item out of my car and left. He should not be employed anywhere that interacts with humans or animals.
