I live in South Carolina and my son lives in Bradenton - He went to his car at 5:00am and found that he had a flat tire. He tried to change it himself but could not get the lugnuts off. I called at least 7 repair companies in his area that said they were 24 hrs, two would come out for $250.00 and the others said they did'nt have anyone at 6:00am(they stated they were 24 hours). I was lucky enough to call S & R Towing but no one answered until about 5 mins later when he called me back! - He said he would go right over. Requested a tow through my car's app. They accepted. The request disappeared from my app, so I called to see if they still had it or if I needed to request another. The man who answered yelled at me because the app didn't give a full address. I explained that I was not at an address, I was next to a trash compactor. He yelled more about how they can't charge mileage correctly without a full address and they lose money because of these apps all the time. It is not the customer's responsibility to make sure you make money. I cannot correct the address on the app. It will not let me choose the closest building. Also, maybe don't yell at people who are calling for help? I am not forcing you to work. read more

They did not have the equipment to tow my RV save your time. And this was to progressive insurance. I had a call progressive multiple amount of times to get a towing company that finally came and to my company. read more

These guys are GREAT. Lost the fob (aka "Intelligent key") to my car and was stuck in the Public's parking lot. After calling roadside assistance, S&R was there within 15 minutes. They were extremely careful putting my car on and taking it off the flatbed. Due to street parking, there wasn't any room to get the car into the driveway, so they pushed it! They never returned my phone call. So wasn't able to use there service. And I guess that's probably a good thing cause if they tow like they return customers phone calls requesting there service while break down on side of the road then things probably wouldn't have went very well. It's pretty bad you call a tow truck when on side of road and they don't even call you back. It's crazy. read more

Worst experience with a tow service. On the side of the road with a flat, with no street lights, in pitch darkness with my daughter in the car. After waiting 2 hours and I was told stop calling (after 2 other calls for an update) or they will cancel. Each time I had called before they said will be there soon. Not sure what a reasonable time frame "soon" is, but I had waited at least 30 minutes between calls for an update. I already had paid through an app so I politely asked them to not cancel and to please get there as soon as possible. Was almost 4 hours before my car was secured and towed. Do not use! read more

I truly recommend this company to anyone they were great they weren't suppose to start till 8 am but the dispatcher got up and came bc I was stuck on the side of the road with my son and was very polite and so thankful for him.
