This is for the Ohio based outfit that frisks people in Pittsburgh. They destroyed my floors after I asked if they could handle some of the hardwood challenges. They say they are BBB certified and using the BBB arbitration process- I called BBB said they have never heard of them, and do not follow such a process with non-members. The process is really equivalent to industrial grade mop n glow you get at the HD for $100.00. Save your money and risk not having a good refinish and use a full service hardwood refinished who can rebuff the floor and declare with poly, and then do a real refinish at $1-2$/per sq ft. These yahoos cost me $3k, all they had to say was their process wouldn't guarantee results for my floors and own the additional damage their stripper did to my floors! Run don't walk. read more

Mr. Sandless Pittsburgh refinished our hardwood floors and did a fantastic job. We also needed quarter round trim installed, transition pieces installed, and baseboard repaired. Frank did a great job on the trim work and both Nathan and Frank were punctual and professional. Our ugly floors are now beautiful and we would definitely hire them again. We contracted Mr. Sandless to do a stairwell to our second floor, a hallway connecting three bedrooms on the second floor and three bedrooms. They did a thorough and excellent job and did so in two days, We would definitely call upon them again if we needed floor refinishing. Their work really made the floors sparkle. read more

This process while sealing the floor does not really strip the floor. The coating does not add much color either. All imperfections and color variations are visible. Will post pictures. read more

I renovated a historic 1875 Opera Hall. The hall was over 3,000 sq ft. Being "green" and health conscious, I wanted minimal dust and chemicals. Mr Sandless really delivered. They were ok. Fair pricing, quick turnaround from first contact to job completion. I loved that they were able to put life and shine back into the original wood floors in our 1920s home. If your floors are in decent shape without deep scrapes or gouges, this is a very good solution. We will have them back to finish the bedrooms soon. read more

Much better on paper than reality....looks great day one, then, not so much......keep in mind its no different than painting your floors, except they scratch and mar way too easily.....DON'T do it unless you plan on never using the floors....Mind you its not personal, they are very nice peopel to deal with... read more

I used them almost a year ago. Within months, the finish began to wear off on the kitchen and stairs, the most heavily trafficked areas. I called the company out of Canton, Ohio who applied and they said they would come out and honor the warranty. I've called multiple times and although the owner says he will come out on certain days (last promise was the week of Thanksgiving of 2016) he does not follow through. If he ever keeps his promise and warranty, I will update this review. Until then, very unhappy. read more

I would suggest people run away from this company. I spent thousands on getting my floors refinished and stained. There are visible pockmarks throughout (which was blamed on humidity and has never gone away). Black swirl marks ruined my beautiful 1930s floors and can be seen throughout. There was stain all over the place- up the side of the tub, on baseboards etc. The "Guaranteed Adhesion, Guaranteed Satisfaction" is 100% a lie. I was not satisfied and the stain did not take to part of my floor. They said they didn't have a solution, but took my money anyways. When I asked about coming to fix some of the issues, I had to call every few days and was told they'd come next week. Next week turned into the following week. That week turned into the following and so on for months. The owner of the company never once stopped by to see the issues and denied there was any wrong. Also note- they make you sign the form before the leave which means that at the time of signing 1) you can't walk on your floors and 2) a lot of issues are not visible. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. read more

Made a horrible mess on freshly painted baseboards and finish did not hold up for very long. Would NOT recommend.

Service was good. Returned to smooth out several areas that were missed with no problem. However, I feel that sanding and refinishing turns out a much better looking floor. The Mr. Sandless is too glossy and has scratched and marred quite a bit. I wouldn't do this again on my hardwood floors. read more

Don't waste your money. Cannot repair any discoloration or deep scratches. They tried to put down one thick coat of poly but could see the mop marks where it streaked from uneven coverage. Had to have them back out for a seond coat. If I had to do it again, I would have either done it myself or just invest the $600 into new flooring. Live and learn. read more
