I was inconsistent with a terribly inefficient swing that was honestly harder on my body than it needed to be. I have one lesson left out of a 15 lesson pack and I've dropped to a 13.8 handicap now and have shot a handful of rounds of 84 recently (and can feel that elusive 79 just out of reach). My mechanics have improved tremendously which also makes my back and body feel so much better after a round and it cannot be overstated how valuable that is. I play 36 regularly with no real issues now! I started with Ian who was perfect for what I needed at the time but when he moved on the customer service here was incredible to get me set up with a new instructor in Ty Klippenstein. Ty has pushed me to the next level, I love the way he explains things, he can explain the science behind the swing and ball flight and also bring it back to basics for you. It works for me at least. If you're going to actually utilize the practice sessions on top of the lessons GOLFTEC really is a great value and if you're in the Valley I can't recommend Ty enough.

I' m so glad I found the golf instructor I'd been looking for! Coach Ayumi is incredibly detailed…read moreand patient, exactly what I needed as someone starting with zero golf knowledge. Also I was worried about hurting my back and neck when I started, but she taught me the right techniques to stay safe and avoid injuries, such an important part to enjoy golf in long term. I've been taking lessons with her for almost a year now, and I couldn't be happier. The most fun part was going out for on-course lessons, learning the rules, handling real situations, and getting comfortable out there. Now I feel confident playing anywhere, and the biggest surprise? I broke 100 within just one year! If you want to learn, build confidence, and enjoy the process, this is the perfect place to start your golf journey.

It's been a year since my lesson package with Ayumi, I was waiting to write this review to see how…read morethe instruction held up for that year, and it has held up perfectly. During lessons Ayumi educated me on my golf swing, how it should change, and taught me to self-analyze problems that arise. Everything was very methodical and understandable...which I needed. I am now 62, have significant arthritis in my elbows, and was concerned I wouldn't be able to keep playing golf with my rapidly worsening home-brew swing. Ayumi has given me the knowledge to keep playing, my handicap which was 20 and heading up at the start of last year is now 14.8 and trending down.

The first time around was actually a very positive experience and I look forward to returning, considering the fact that I live five minutes away . But two days ago I came in and the older Asian man or owner of the business was who was there. There was no hello or any type of greeting At least not at his part. All I was being asked was if I had been there before to which I replied yes . To my answer, all I received was a blank stare.. I tried to disregard it, and instead asked him after informing him that I was left-handed that I would be needing a left-handed set up . He still looked at me up and down like I was crazy, but I tried to be patient due to the fact that there was a bit of a language barrier . When I told him I needed one hour, I tried to peek at the clipboard with the pricing to which when he saw me do so he put his hand over the clipboard and covered it . Again, he had asked me and repeated if I had been here before . At this point, I was a little frustrated because I've already answered that question. And so I repeated a resounding yes . So he hesitates and then he tells me I will have to wait . Absolutely no problem with that . and after sitting for almost 25 minutes, he finally takes me over to a tea box that wasn't even being used. Oh wait, there's more . Thewas very little help in trying to set up . And from the looks of it, it looked like this gentleman didn't even know how the equipment works So after 20 minutes of trying to get the simulator to start working on my own . It was that I was able to finally get some practice. And if all of that wasn't enough at the end of my time, I was just gathering up all the balls for the next person .(just exercising a. Bit of golf etiquette.) this man came to snatch the shovel away from me. Now I understand we are living in some trying times . But given that this gentleman also has a language barrier as to imply that he's probably also an immigrant, the way I was made to feel like I wasn't welcomed and then made to wait the way I did seemed a little bit of unfair and unnecessary to me. It's safe to say that you guys have lost my business . And that I won't be returning. I know I might look like a Mexican from the ones you've been seeing on TV acting stupid. But let me assure you, we are not all the same . No hard feelings, but I'll never be back there again . I've only been golfing about a year and a half, and this is my worst experience since I found the sport

~ GOLF WITHOUT THE ALLERGIES? I'M IN! ~…read more SVN2 is a great spot for a date, hanging out with friends, celebrating a birthday, or even just having fun solo! I'm not really into golf, but my partner is, so when I first heard about a golf simulator where you hit balls into a giant screen, I didn't expect much. But I was totally surprised! The space is modern and tech-forward, with everything digitally set up. There's no receptionist, but the troubleshooting is quick if you need help. When you book a session, you get a code for entry. As soon as you walk in, it has a trendy, chill vibe. There's a lobby area with chairs, drinks for purchase (sodas/sports drinks), and a TV to pass the time. The venue has four bays (three open and one private), each with a small bar table and stools for seating. There's also a bathroom towards the back labeled the 19th hole. They provide free sets of clubs to use (for all skill levels, both men and women), though most people bring their own. Setting up on the computer is easy, and the technology behind the simulators is seriously impressive, with motion-sensing lidar cameras that track your shots pretty accurately. You get your own player profile, and you can set the skill level-- beginner for me! Each bay also has a TV, so you can play music or watch something while you play. Even though I didn't end up playing all 18 holes, there wasn't a moment where I wasn't entertained - I'd say great if you want to get your partner into your hobby, ha. There's different tiered memberships that you can join and we also saw that there was a league, which I thought was a pretty cool concept. Overall we really enjoyed our time here and it was a fun experience, we will definitely be back! It's super affordable and fun, so I highly recommend checking it out! *HOT TIP: They have golfballs there for use, but if you want to bring your own they need to be new, not scuffed, so it won't damage the screen. **HOTTER TIP: While it's not advertised, you can bring your own food/...other adult bevs your time here ;).

I was about a year postpartum when I joined the gym and I can honestly say that Diana helped me feel good again. Her motivational words with the right amount of push helped me get breakthrough in my work out journey. The gym is immaculate. Bathrooms are clean and always well stocked with hair ties and all the women necessities. The community is great. Parking can be a little though depending on the time of day because they're located right outside of the mall, but you always find a spot. Over all love this gym. Diana truly is a gem and makes the Pilates community come together. Thank you for your great service, Diana!

Been a member for over a year, so many mixed feelings about this gym…read more The best part is; Women's only! Amazing, have had amazing interactions and new friendships with the women here. The energy is great until recently, newer members can be rude and don't have common courtesy or gym etiquette. Keep in mind price is high, I pay almost $300 for the membership that does include spin and Pilates. But the class schedule now isn't the best. A lot of the OG good Pilates instructors have quit. Shani is definitely the best one still here. Jill's spin class is 10/10. But I don't see why the high price tag. A lot of machines are constantly broken. The bathrooms are constantly out of soap and toilet paper, and are dirty half the time. Classes get cancelled constantly. A few of the instructors are rude and hog gym equipment. Ash at front desk is the best and always so sweet, Skye and Dani have amazing strength classes but I can't make it half the time due to the inconsistency with child care, even tho Lupe is amazing with kids. But the rest of the staff can be rude and not accommodating. Always new front desk girls What brought me here originally was the kids club. As a new mom, this was the best opportunity. There is just no consistency and there's a lot of rules and regulations that aren't really discussed when you sign up. They advertise everywhere that they offer kids club but at least once a week, kids club is closed or opened late and a different time daily so I end up missing or being late to my scheduled classes. Originally I was taking 2 classes some days, being at the gym for over 2 hours, using the gym as therapy with new girlfriends. Then I was told I'm only allowed to use kids club for an hour and 15 minutes whether someone is in there to watch your kid or not. Which is not a lot of time. After an hour class, I barely have time to use the restroom and fill up my water before I'm texted to come pick up my daughter. Leaves me no time to use the amenities I'm paying for. There's no food or drinks allowed for the kids but it seems these rules are only targeted to certain members. A lot of moms have canceled their membership due to this and have gone to equinox which makes sense given we pay equinox prices. The communication in the gym is very poor. Classes with my favorite instructors are canceled with no explanation. Gym floor classes have been moved to an even darker corner with no ventilation or room for the class size it's intended for. A lot of the girls are from class pass and apparently can't use any basic amenities which again how is anyone supposed to know. There's no signs up or communication. It just seems to be one thing after another but I really hope they continue to try to make changes so they don't lose anymore members. I love it here and my daughter loves coming with me, it's just becoming more of burden as of late.
