The bays are 75% of the time dirty and have debris on the ground, dirt, stones, and mud. I have to spray the ground next to my vehicle because I don't want to track that mess into my vehicle after I wash. There seems to more employees than they need and most of the time they are standing around talking and looking. Next, I noticed when I pull into the bays, the hoses from the prior person are hanging in the way and if you don't get out of your vehicle and place them in the proper position, you take a chance of ripping the hose down or damaging your car. Let me preface this by saying one simple thing: I love my car. I really do. But a mix of sun, salt, road debris, and careless "complimentary" dealership car washes had taken their toll on my paint. I had scuffs, fine scratches, swirls, and hazing. My car didn't look beat, but it was definitely due for some TLC. A fellow car enthusiast referred me to Morgan of Eco Auto Detail. I saw some pictures of his work and his process, and figured I'd give him a shot. After some emailing back and forth with Morgan, I was comfortable enough to set a date to have my car worked on. Morgan was very willing to answer my (many and likely excessive) questions and work with me to pick a time that worked. His van arrived at my house bright and early on a Friday morning and it was immediately clear that he was a professional. We started by taking a walk around the vehicle and both pointing out various trouble spots that would require extra attention. After discussing the car, the process, what options were available to me, and some friendly chatter, I let Morgan get to work. Morgan then proceeded to spend the next eight hours in my driveway meticulously washing, buffing, polishing, and sealing my car with a variety of tools, cloths, soaps, and agents. At various stages in the process, Morgan would check in with me and have me come take a look at the vehicle so he could show me exactly what he was doing and how it was affecting the car. The end result was that my car looked better than the day I bought it. The hazing, swirls, and fine scratches had been polished right out without needing new paint. The large white scuff lines on the top of my rear bumper left by my carelessness loading luggage into my trunk were completely gone. Not "oh, they're barely noticeable now" gone, they were gone gone. I'd never seen my car shine the way it did, and it's holding up great since then. I really can't recommend Morgan and Eco Auto Detail enough. Very reasonably priced, very friendly and professional, and a truly fantastic work ethic. My next vehicle purchase might not be for another two years, but I know exactly who I'm having work on it the day I buy it.

Long Appreciation Post…read more A couple weeks ago, I was rear ended on 91 by a hit and run driver who did not brake for the stopped traffic. I am extremely grateful for my Ford Explorer for keeping me safe and being able to walk away without injury. In need of a whole new back end of my Explorer, I chose Johnson's Auto Body in Tolland to repair my car because of a positive referral. I cannot express HOW INCREDIBLE they were!!! Renee, who works the office, was AN ABSOLUTE ANGEL and walked me through the entire process. She was genuinely empathtic and consistently reassured me that "I, and my Explorer, are in very good hands" and that "I was going to get it back and it'll look like nothing ever happened." She sent me a text message every day with an update on the car, insurance or just to see how I was doing and feeling. Sure enough, I got my Explorer back and it looks PERFECT!!
