This place is under new management and Weil. They're trying hard. There are a few bumps in the road to be considered. When I asked for the $32 basic inside and out Service, the guy said no you need your car mats done. That'll be 48. I could not find a $48 service on the price list so I walked back to the board and pointed to the 32 and said this will be fine... Only I had to remove my own car mats and put them in the trunk. Otherwise they would've just vacuumed around it. Secondly, this must've really annoyed someone because even though I was in the number one slot to go through the car wash somehow my car wound up six cars behind. Sad to say after over 20 years of using this car wash I no longer will be. The attendants are more interested in up-selling my already high end wash type than they are actually cleaning the car. They ignored the back/hatch of my car repeatedly and after saying something about it they would wash the mat but not vacuum and leave lots of visible dirt behind. The kicker (on the same visit) was when they dried the outside of my car and the door jams and then took the same dirty rag to wipe down the inside and my seats. This place has rebranded since my last visit. They have made improvements to fix the walls and open ceilings but they look like temporary or unfinished fixes. However, there is still a large wall of black mold towards the front. It's a fair priced hand car wash but the windows ALWAYS need to be redone when I get home. read more

I brought my SUV to Mr. Suds Car Wash in Huntington yesterday and paid $55 for the VIP wash with upgrades for tire polish and floor mat cleaning. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst car wash experiences I've had. The job felt very rushed and the interior was left noticeably dirty. There was still dust throughout the car, the windows were not properly cleaned, and there was sticky residue left in the cup holder area. For the price, I expected much more attention to detail. Didn't want an upgrade. Just a basic full service. Get to counter, he put in an upgrade to the silver package. $37. Over an hour later my car is finally done. They stalled it at the back so the three guys in front can catch up drying vehicles. Unbelievable. I thought it was early growing pains when this happened upon first opening but clearly nothing has changed. It's gotten worse. Do not go here. Went in and got the "best option" for $90 and left with a dirty car. Full detailing and wash/wax. I was told it would take 30 minutes and it took 1 hour and 10 mins. I went back to complain and the employee just told me he was sorry and would "talk to his boss". Unprofessional service and amateur results for an exorbitant price. Charged me for more than what I asked for and then did not do a good job. My rims specifically still looked very dirty, when I asked about it the guy said it "wouldn't come off" and only did them again when I showed that it came off with a wipe of a finger. Interior parts like dashboard, cup holders and seats were half-assed and are still dirty. I'd expect a lot better for almost $50, would not go here again read more

SCAMMERS... 90$ or 55$. He told me the 55 is the cheep one and they do it fast "not that good". Only options I was told. No signage as to pricing. Called desk said they have several options as little as 31$. This place needs to be closed down for bad business practices. read more

This really is a 1 star car wash. No prices published but I bought the groupon. This place is supposed to be a hand car wash. I was expecting a brushless car wash since it's just a tunnel with guys standing in it but it's an extra brush car wash with some guys using brushes to wash the cars for some reason even though they can do it correctly. Car came out dirty and a lot more scratched than when it went in. If this was $10, it would be awful but at $41, it's terrible. Don't go here at any cost. read more

If i could leave 0 stars i would. Slowest car wash and and i got my car back the arm of my chair looked intact but and i went to put it up if fell to the ground. It was broken there. Tried contacting and manager won't respond or take any ownership. I called multiple times to speak to manager. Girl who answered said he isn't there. Asked for owner. Said she didn't know. Then said manager wanted you to come in. But according to her he isn't there. Horrible place and lack of customer service. Never returning. Love this handwashing car wash. so professional. my car looks good as new when they are done. Its a totally different experience then average car washes. Its more money but worth it. I couldn't afford it every week but i go when needed. read more

what a dump. one star is 2 much. I wanted to do a business call but the women behind the counter had the Spanish music blasting so loud I had to go outside in 30 degrees to make a call. and then stood out there freezing for the hour it took for the car to finally get done. Now maybe if the place was packed or if my car came out looking show room clean I might say wow for the somehow almost 50 dollars I spent because prices are posted no where. the rude women behind the counter just looks though you like your a ghost while your trying to talk over blasting Spanish new and music. a great car wash is right up the block I will be going there. read more

Had my car washed yesterday.Full service $49.00 plus tip. Crazy yes but it was too late. No prices posted . I asked worker if shop and changed ownership. He said yes, and I assumed that just recently happened. Well he changed ownership 6 months ago!!!! Though that my car would look new (as it used to with the last owner) and also because my car is only a year old. Waited a long time and when the car was finally finished I was late for my appointment . The inside of the car looked good. But when I got home and looked at my tires, they were filthy as were spokes. Bottom line: Poor job: long wait, no service option prices clearly posted ,ridiculously expensive for poor job. I only got the basic exterior wash for $14 as opposed to any of the other options but it was a really low effort and quality wash. The worst part is that there was still a good amount of soap on the car despite being hosed down. The hand drying was also not great as the car was still pretty wet after I was told the job was finished. Rims were also still noticeably dirty. Take your car and your money elsewhere. read more

Things have been downhill since new ownership. I go here for propane tank refills, price has increased almost 50% in the last 3 years to $29 per tank. Garden center a mile away is $18 per tank, I will be going there from now on. read more

I just had my first and last experience with Mr. Suds on New York Ave, Huntington. it is under new ownership and they don't have any idea of how to run a car wash or a business. the line to get a car washed was about 7 cars. it took over 25 minutes to get to the front of the line. there weren't enough people to get the cars cleaned and into the wash tunnel. the rinse sprayer presure was not enough to clean the soap off. bird poop was not removed and soap was just rubbed into the cars paint leaving spots all over the car. then it took another 30 minutes for the men to dry the wet cars. many people were upset and there was an argument at the cash register about pricing and discounts for prepaid service. I had to have another car wash redo it their mess. I wish I could post the pictures of the mess they made of my car. read more

My husband just tried to use a gift certificate bought at this location in December 2022. Apparently "Mr Suds" bought the location sometime after but also in December 2022. They are NOT honoring the gift certificate today. Also, he paid for wax application, and was watching and saw no wax was pplied. Will not be going back to "Mr Suds" read more

I was so excited to find a brushless car wash close to my house. I really wanted to give this place a shot. I've taken my mustang here a few times already and I was always happy with the service. However, upon my last visit I asked the man who took my car to please DO NOT use the broom brush on the car before it goes into the tunnel as it can scratch the paint. That's all I wanted, no brush. I wait to see my car being put into the tunnel and I see them using the broom brush on my car. Whatever, I was very disappointed but just decided to suck it up this one time. But, the worst part is that when I was waiting for my car to be dried, the guys working on it I guess didn't notice me sitting outside on the bench, and decided to rev my engine to hear it louder. I thought maybe a foot slipped at first, but it was 3 distinct revs. I decided after this that I will look for another place to wash my car. I can't trust this place to do the right thing. I'll always give a local business a chance until they don't deserve it any longer, and Mr. Suds doesn't deserve my business any longer. read more
