Sitting here in MrTaco Loco is the closest feeling that I've ever had in NW Arkansas like I was actually in Mexico. It's a bit chaotic for ordering at the front door, it can be busy at lunch and crowded, but the street tacos are the real deal Nothing fancy, carried to your table with care and a smile. The place is colorful and "loud" in the best possible way. Prices are very reasonable and portions are good. The tacos only taste was salty, the salsa tasted like marinara sauce, and the tamales were not really good either. The masa was not cooked properly and the pork, though had a bright red color that gave me hope, was ultimately flavorless. I added a picture of the tacos because I would not have believed they were this bad without seeing it. The patio is pretty cool looking and they offered a variety of drinks, but there were swarms of flies everywhere. I had a torta for the first time. OMG! Y'all! I got the birriatorta, a sandwich made with expertly seasoned roast beef, cheese, onions , in a very "wet" huge bun. It came with an awesome au jus. This may have been one of the best things I've ever put in my mouth! Hubby had an enormous plate of nachos. He said they were really good, but after I gave him a taste of mine, he said that I won! This place is always packed. So someone really likes it. I didn't have a great experience the cashier taking my order could not describe the options or choices. He asked to step aside so he could help his obvious friend/family in their order. The tacos have potential but there were 3 small and overpriced nearly $15 for 3 tacos and a bean and rice meal with a drink. Not again for me. The restaurant was functional unique but nothing special. Not my next Taco location I'll stick with Taco Bell, and that's just sad. read more

What a sweet gem on the busy MLK strip in Fayetteville!! Taco Tuesday has us hooked! Next time we will stay for margarita's! We love the Springdale location so when we saw the sign my girls screamed with excitement!! One of the best suggestions I can give it order the 20 Taco box!! 20 tacos for $25 and you can split with a family or large group of teenagers!! Also great to pick up for tailgating just down the street! The salsa bar was amazing!! I just can't say enough about this spot. We will be trying the carne asada next time. If you are passing through Fayetteville this place is easy access to the interstate and a great place to stop for a quick bite. The service will be quicker than Mexico Viejo and Serranos which are close by. The food is authentic and I think just a tad bit better than Mexico Viejo. .....sorry Fay peeps! Enjoy! read more

This is a mostly self service authentic type taco establishment. Affordable and fun, busy atmosphere. Order at the counter then find a table. There is a bar to the side with fixins' for tacos. Food was tasty and seemed fresh. Not the place to go if you're expecting a full service sit down meal. read more

This review is for the new location on MLK in Fayetteville. We had chips and queso. Queso was Meh, chips cold- we prefer heated, but okay.... no biggie. I had the tamales 1 chicken, 1 pork. Better than average cheap Mexican food nestled in south Fayetteville. Checked this place out on a recommendation from a friend as I don't often venture to this part of town and was surprised at the quality. First off they have a lot of specials every day of the week on food and drink. These deals alone make it worth coming back, the other menu items are also well priced. I'm going to start my review with a very cliche statement "If I could give them zero stars, I would". Came by to get tamales. It was 4:30pm and they closed at 5pm so they told us they only had chicken tamales left. We ordered 2 chicken tamales, beef nachos, and a steak burrito. We get our food but no one asked if we wanted salsa so we asked. The tamales arrived but there was no chicken inside... it was cheese and jalapeño. So we tell the guy working there and he asks us if we are sure. Ummm..... yes, there was no chicken.... I tore it open in front of him and to my surprise I found a piece of sliced cheese ... but still no chicken. No apology from the guy, he takes our plate and says he will find out. He came back to say they are remaking them but it will take some time. When he returns about 10 minutes later our tamales now have chicken but they were too dry to eat. The nachos were cold and soggy and the burrito was cold and chewy. The horchata was made with powder and no goodbye when we were leaving. We will not return! read more

The dopest Mexican food, for pennies on the dollar yo. I get like 3 Tacos for under five bucks and the horchata is on point, a perfect way to cool down your food hole post going deep in the paint with the super spicy red sauce. P.S.
