My new favorite boba spot in boise! The tea actually tastes good! I got the matcha and brown sugar milk tea. I know our Boise standards for bubble tea are lacking compared to other big cities, but this place definitely has quality. The setting is also very cute and welcoming. They have fun little games to play while you sip on your boba! The staff is nice as well. Inside out: this place is amazing, just flat out great! Parking is ample though you may need to walk a short bit. The decor is incredibly spot on Vietnamese, my friend showed me pictures of her last trip there and it's just an excellent energy in the space. The lamps were imported and make it a unique place to have a long catch up with a friend! Service: flawless, kind, and excellent. Food and drinks: we had the egg coffee because my friend missed out on her trip and wanted to try it, here it's made with powdered egg, but I cannot tell you how much you need to try it. It does not taste like egg- The creamy texture mixed with the strong coffee is to die for. I only regret that I now know how good it is and can't start my morning that way every day. The egg rolls are crisp and unique. Overall this place is amazing, a truly worthy stop. Be brave, try new things! I tend to add if I think it would be a good first date spot, and this would be an excellent one! Or a 406th date spot, I can't wait to bring my husband! I visited Mr. Tea for the first time today, and I was genuinely impressed. The owner was incredibly welcoming and took the time to offer recommendations, which made for a great first experience. Right away, I noticed how clean and thoughtfully designed the shop is. The space feels cozy, inviting, and well cared for, with plenty of comfortable seating for meeting friends, studying, or simply relaxing with a drink. The atmosphere is what really sets this place apart. Soft piano music plays in the background while a television displays peaceful ocean scenes with fish and sea turtles swimming through crystal-blue water. A colorful mural brightens one wall, and beautiful woven rattan fish hang from the ceiling throughout the shop. There are also shelves displaying merchandise, along with many small decorative touches that make the space feel warm and unique. Overall, it creates a calm and relaxing environment that encourages you to stay awhile. For my order, I chose the Signature Milk Tea and a Bubble Waffle with chocolate drizzle. The milk tea was refreshing and well balanced. What I appreciated most was that it didn't have the powdery or overly syrupy taste that I've experienced at some other boba shops. It was lightly sweetened--just enough to be enjoyable without being overwhelming. I also loved that there are numerous add-ons and toppings available, making the drinks highly customizable. The Bubble Waffle was equally enjoyable. I kept the toppings simple so I could really taste the waffle itself, and I'm glad I did. I was breezing through Yelp and this new boba tea joint popped up. I noticed that it was in my neck of the woods so it peaked my curiosity. After researching it's location, it saddens me to know that they took over Happy Boba. Happy Boba had some of the best fruit teas. And the owner and staff were so friendly. So now that Mr. Tea is here, they have very big shoes to fill cause Happy Boba held such a high standard in their products and customer service. Not gonna lie, these folks did such a great job remodeling this place. It's brighter. There's beautiful, imported lights fixtures that stretched from the front of the venue to the back. Some of the light fixtures are shaped as koi fish, so unique. There's few tables to sit and socialize at by the big windows. A comfy couch to chill and enjoy your drink at. Same space but a completely fresh look. Their drink menu is a lot smaller than the previous shop. Sometimes less is good. Keep it easy and simple. There's Vietnamese coffee, smoothies, fruit and milk teas. Now that I can't really have green tea due to my medications, I thought a black milk tea would be a great drink to start with. I asked the gentleman behind the counter if I can have it sweet. I was told yes but wasn't really asked how sweet I had wanted it. I just went with the flow and took what they made me. I did notice on their menu they have goodies to eat while sipping on your drink. The waffle options looked pretty tasty. I really wanted to snag one bit I didn't want to ruin dinner. I will have to grab one of these bubble waffles with my next drink visit. My black milk tea was good. You can taste the black tea and the creaminess from the milk. The boba pearls are chewy and soft. They were perfectly prepared. I do like my milk teas on the sweeter side and this milk tea wasn't quite there. I did end up adding some sweetner to it when I got home. It did help but it would have been nice if it was prepared the way I would have liked it. I will have to try something off their menu that's on the sweeter side so I don't have to worry about adding more sweetner to it. I am assuming the couple behind the counter were the owners. The gentleman was nice and we chatted about the remodel. I didn't really very a chance to interact with the gal behind the counter. I do look forward to coming back and trying something off their matcha menu. It sounds like a must have after reading a few of their reviews. And of course I have to add that bubble waffle with that matcha. Nice to have this joint right down the road from my house. read more

Wow this place was great. I got the ube milk tea and the ube matcha. Both were creamy and rich in flavor. The colors of the drinks added even more flavor to it. It was almost to nice to drink lol The store was really clean and the decorations were spot on. The staff were very nice. We came here on a Thursday afternoon right after lunch. The store was clean and they had the boba drinks I've been craving she once moving here! I love me my Vietnamese egg coffee and phin coffee. I can attest that this was legit and the boba was cooked perfectly. I didn't get a chance to try the egg waffles since I was stuffed from lunch, but will definitely bring the kids here next time to try it out. read more
