I went in as I'd been told elsewhere that I needed front brake pads. Mr Tire did a no charge inspection and confirmed I did indeed need them. My rear brake pads had been done elsewhere. That place also charged me to inspect the brakes first. The bill there to inspect and do the work was over $400! My bill at Mister Tire was less than half of that! I just wanted to give a shout out to the team at Mr. Tire in Pasadena Md. Major S-O to Jeff and Michael Biesterfeld. My car broke down in the same shopping center where they are located. They tried to jumpstart the car, then replaced the battery despite having a load of cars waiting to be repaired. Once they couldn't do a quick fix they pushed my car into a loading bay and promised it would be fixed by tomorrow. They actually completed the job by 6pm that day. I came for a state inspection, which is $93 so we're off to a great start there. First time I come it takes almost 3 hours for them to tell me something is wrong with my breaks. Okay sure, never had a problem with them before but we'll go with that. With all the work they "did" they charged me $1000. Alright, I'll cough it over. No one tells me a state inspection is only good for 30 days, so I go to get my car registered and it's expired. I come back to do another inspection, thinking "surely nothing is wrong within the 4 months I haven't been here." NOPE, now my lower arm controls are bad! And how much you may ask, will this cost? $1,200!!!! People are not made of money. My breaks were fine and nothing was noticeably changed last time I paid $1000 for work. I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience! I walked in and asked if they had time for an oil change and they were able to fit me in. I sat in the waiting area on a leather sofa that swallowed me up. It was like getting a giant hug. They have WiFi but I was too relaxed to use it. Funny show on the tv that had everyone cracking up. My car was done quickly and they made recommendations on things that needed to be replaced or tweeted, and charged me less than I had expected. Thank you! On way home for holidays, car got a nail while waiting at the BWI cell phone lot. The airport operations / road service didn't make it easy and before you know it the spare got punctured too! After calling all around, this place even getting referred to for their good staff by a fellow dealership, and multiple franchises running down the tire - these guys got it and helped! BEWARE. On 2 occasions oil filter NOT changed. Then when I brought it back to fix, they still did not inflate tires properly and oil was a quart low. My first experience at Mr Tire was excellent. I went to grease and go before coming to Mr Tires and they couldn't find the hole in my two tires but Scotty and Dan were able to help me out right away. Very polite and knowledgeable both helped me understand more about my tire sensors and valve stems. Highly recommend these guys to take care of your vehicles maintenance. Too bad there isn't an option for zero stars! "We NEVER will go back! We went in on a Thursday as a walk-in and we we told they were too busy and we would have to make an appointment. Okay. Made an appointment for mid morning on Monday. I showed up 15 min prior to my appoinment and was told that it would take an HOUR! I informed them I was on my lunch time and any amount they could shorten the time would be appreciated. About fifteen minutes later they said my wiper blades needed replacing and my tires needed rotating. I figured the blades could only take a couple of minutes and they already had my car on the lift and one tire off. The car is 3 years old and the tires had never been rotated. An hour and a half later I see an employee going the the blade rack obviously searching for a blade that is not there. He calls over another employee who rumages a while and then says "I think these will work". At this point I am so over due my lunch time, I've called my boss to explain the situation and the additional time I will need to make up and I tell then to forget the wipers. The employee then gets on the phone and asks if another employee has left yet. They were obviously stalling while somone went to purchase or pick up blades from another location! To top everything off when I finished work and looked at my tires THEY WERE NEVER ROTATED. Can you say rip off?!?!?! The patch over $42 was not rip off enough? You charge me over $50 for a job you never did? NEVER, NEVER, NEVER will this establish steal my money and time again!" read more

Would give zero stars if I could. Made appointment and showed up on time, but still waited over 3 hours for an oil change. Was in the middle of a cold snap and it was less than 10 degrees outside, but their heat was broken, so it was a pretty frigid and miserable 3+ hours. If I had any idea it would be that long, I would have organized a ride, but no one said a word. Had a coupon, but it had so much fine print and so many hidden fees that when all was said and done, the oil change cost more than it does at my local Lexus dealership (which is a decidedly superior experience). After the ordeal, I filled out a customer satisfaction survey they emailed me. I was contacted by the manager of the store who offered a complimentary oil change the next time I needed one. I had not requested such a thing and was pleased to take him up on his offer, specifically asking if I needed an email or voucher or similar when I went back in. He assured me it would be "in the system." Months go by, time for a new oil change. I make an appointment and, surprise, surprise, there is nothing in the system and the manager had quit. I called Mr. Tire corporate to complain again and was told they had to get in touch with the district manager and would get back to me. Weeks went by and no one got back to me. I called again and was told that the district manager never approved a complimentary oil change and they would give me a $15 service credit. Not sure if they were implying that the store manager had gone rogue with his offer to me or if I had made the entire thing up, but certainly aren't concerned with customer care either way. I politely declined and will take my business elsewhere. I strongly suggest you do the same. read more

Caught a screw in my tire, stopped by to see what could be done. Mike came to my rescue and gave me a temporary bandaid. Of course, I had to stop at a few other locations first to see if I could find a better deal. I didn't! Because of Mike, I came back... he went out of his way to help, stopped what he did to look at my car, added extra air, and had the best customer service skills I've seen in this industry. Upon my return, I didn't get to see Mike to thank him, but got the same treatment from Rick. Blown away by the way they treat their customers. My mom got a quote for tires online and made an appointment. Mind you, they had to stay in the shopping plaza while they waited for her car to be done. After 1 1/2 hours later, the car wasn't even started on - SO WHY MAKE AN APPOINTMENT? On top of that, they gave her an estimate for a few hundred more than what she priced online. Oh, and it is so fun to deal with someone who is rude and non customer friendly. I didn't mind the way the staff treated me, they were very friendly and only sold me the parts I needed rather than force me to buy all sorts of things I don't need. What I didn't like is the problems with my car were more extensive than originally thought of so they had to hold my car. It took 3 weeks for them to repair it rather than the original 3 days that it was supposed to take. They do not care for the amount of time you will be without your vehicle and that is terrible. I had my tires delivered here after purchasing online from 'TIREBUYER.COM' and they had a $66 mount/balance special arrangement with Mr Tire. I also got an alignment done. They werent busy and told me it would be about 2 hours. They went alittle long 2.5 hours but the big surprise came with the bill. It was about $50 higher then i expected. I got them back down and took my old tires home...which they will charge you for and then turn around and sell them to a used tire wholesaler. They had a decent waiting area. They had ONE JOB which was to install two tires I provided and completely messed that up. They scratched both of my rims and the tires were unbalanced when I left. I called and complained to which they owned up to at first but then later stated "we know we are at fault but don't feel we should be obligated to pay for repairs." To which I responded by serving them with papers. I'll be seeing them in court! Save yourself all the time and hassle and go someone else. I was going to let it go (and just never bring my car back) but I just cannot now. I have been a customer for 6 years, so let that sink in. My last visit the shop lost a lug nut and used one of mine as a replacement. At the time of pick up they argued with me that I did not have anything on that post, that I drove it in with 4/5 lug nuts which was simply not true. (And if I had been driving it like that, the technician that walked my vehicle measuring treads missed it, which is highly unlikely since its pretty noticeable when you have one missing, and since its kind of a weird deal to drive around missing one, the technician pulling my tire off would have noticed and you would THINK that a phone call would be made inquiring about buying a replacement to go with the new tires, RIGHT? sigh). It did not have a "lock" nut on that wheel, it had stripped about a year or so ago, so we had ordered a replacement kit but decided not to carry around 2 lock keys, so that 1 wheel just had 5 regular lug nuts. After minutes of arguing (with no one going to LOOK for my lug nut in the maintenance bay), I told the technician again, it was a regular lug nut, I have the rest of the set in my glove box. I will also interject at this point, they had already mounted/balanced/aligned my new tires and DROVE my car out and around. The technician goes out to my car, goes into the glove box, gets one of MY spare lug nuts and puts it on my car. Good to go they said, I made them go torque it. FINE. However, I am a upset because if I had not inquired about the oil change, this "missing" lug nut issue would not have been passed on to me. I called the manager the day after next because it was still sitting bad with me. And look, it wasn't about the lost lug nut when I called him, it was that it was only addressed by happenstance, it was about that I dropped around $1200.00 at this place and did not appreciate the customer service when picking up from the technician. I didn't call to fight, I called for an apology and suggest checking behind his techs. THE MANAGER WAS RUDE, NASTY & SNOTTY. I told him he just lost a 6 yr customer. I wasn't going to air it all out like this, I was just going to walk away 1 less lug nut and move-on, but then this next part happened. My check engine light came on. Its not that strange, because I have had to replace my gas cap a few times however, this time the code reads as a problem with the "Engine Oil Level". (Note that I got my oil changed with the tires. Weird, huh?) I check the oil, its not reading any on the stick. Took it down the road, had another certified tech check the oil, its down 2 quarts. There were no puddles, no smell, nothing after getting my last oil change, so we scratched our heads. Pulled out the Mr. Tire receipt from last month, THEY ONLY PUT 5 QUARTS IN, when my vehicle takes 7 QUARTS! BEWARE, DOUBLE CHECK, & VALIDATE what they said they did, how they did it and what you paid for. read more

Worst service ever! I made an appointment for a MD State vehicle inspection and was told it would take about an hour. I arrive at least 15 minutes before my appointment time and still, they didn't even start on my car until two hours later. I was there for a total of 4 hours and not once did they say anything to me until I inquired how much longer it would take. Not professional at all!!! Poor customer service all around. I gave 1 star because it's the lowest grade I can give, however, they deserve a minus zero....I will never go there again and certainly will warn others not to go there. read more

He sent someone out right away and I was fixed and out the door in a very short amount of time. The service manager was very nice and a pleasure to deal with. They do not deserve one star. Took my car here for repair. Charged me nearly $700 dollars and within a month I had the same problem occur. They then said it must be another issue instead of owning it. Problem is, 2 weeks of sitting in the shop they were still unable to find the other problem. Ended up taking it to the junkyard and buying another vehicle. Would highly recommend you avoid them at all costs!!! read more

They're awful at this location. Purchased 2 new tires. Only one was damaged and repeatedly told them that I wanted the good tire WHICH I DON'T EVEN HAVE TO TELL THEM BECAUSE IT'S COMOON SENSE THAT YOU DON'T TAKE A CUSTOMER PROPERTY. I told the guy who took us in which was very polite. They mentioned if we wanted to get an alignment which I agreed. I told the same guy not to forget to put the good tire in my car. I reminded the guy whom we paid to make sure they had the tire in my car. I walked out and I don't see my car so one of the guys points out it the car all the way to the front and it was pouring and I said well that's awful when there are empty parking stalls nearby. I looked in my car NO TIRE!! I walked over to the shop and they rolled over to the car the tire with no apology. I get home and thinking this is the tire left it in my trunk. A few hours later we rolled over the tire out of the trunk only to find out IT'S THE DAMAGED TIRE!!!! I immediately called them and the guy sounded like it was no big deal and said just come and we'll give you the tire. I was totally upset because it's an inconvenience for me after I TOLD THEM 3X to different guys I want my good tire back!! When we got there, they gave us the good tire with no apology for your inconvenience .. I believe they took advantage of me being a female ignoring my requests and parking my car far away from the shop so I wouldn't notice it or be bothered. I WILL NEVER AGAIN GO THERE AGAIN ANDI CERTAINTLY DIDN'T GET A PHONE CALL FROM A MANAGER APOLOGIZING BECAUSE THEY ALL KNEW WHAT THEY DID!! THEY WANT IT TO KEEP MY NEW TIRE AND MAKE MONEY ON IT!!
