I went there once for my truck. ... was ok with .. now I haven a car that needs repairs... I would not go there now I see so many negative reviews. I believe customers should be valued.... sadly I will be going out of Pasadena to do business. If u want to keep business local .. do a better job. Absolutely terrible service. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I came in a little early for a 12pm appointment to get my brake pads replaced. 3 hours later I asked how much longer it would take, and I was told they were finishing up. Another hour passed and they gave me my paperwork and had me pay. I asked again how much longer it would take, they told me the mechanic was starting up my car right then. He ended up walking out and complaining to me about how my type of car is difficult to work with. Really? Just because it's difficult doesn't mean you should make me wait 4 hours before actually trying to work on my car. By the time I finally got my keys back, I'd been there for just over 5 hours. 5 hours just to replace my brake pads! All they did was give me a half-hearted apology. It took everything in me not to blow up at them! If I'm paying you to do your job, then do your job!! Unless they messed up my brakes instead of fixing them, I am NEVER going back to this place. Went in for an oil change. The technician went over my van and noticed that I needed front and rear brake pads and rotors. After agreeing on a price, they had me done in about two hours. I would highly recommend this place and Rob was a delight to deal with. read more

I went to Mr. Tire to purchase two rear tires on the advice of my mechanic. I purchase my tires and next thin I know I am being told I need a new serpentine belt for my 2011 Mazda. It had 38,000 miles on it. My mechanic had just changed my oil and did his usual checks of the engine. Everything was fine. When I told the Mr Tire employee I would take care of it elsewhere , he told me that if I leave the belt may seize and result in an accident. I felt like he was trying to scare me. I went back to my mechanic and told me there were no ribs missing on he belt. I wen there for tires so why in the hell were they looking under my hood. read more

Find someplace other than Mr. Tire on Mountain Road in Pasadena Maryland. They installed four new tires on my van, and the van then started vibrating when I drove it away. I took it back to them and they re-balanced the tires, but then the car still vibrated some. So I went there a third time and left the car with them overnight. The next day they said they had done everything they could, and if it still vibrated it was not the tires causing the vibration. I drove away and the vibration was better, but still noticeable between 55 and 65 MPH. I was fed up with them and never went back, and drove the car for 17,000 with the vibration occurring at highway speed. Well, this morning a rear tire exploded while I was driving on a highway. I put on the spare, and lo and behold I now have no vibration whatsoever. So it was that tire that was defective. I went back to Mr. Tire today to tell them what happened. They wanted to sell me a new tire. Do yourself a major favor and go elsewhere. read more

I called this location for a quote on four Tires for my 2011 Santa Fe. I was told a pretty reasonable price compared to the other 2000 places I called. The very nice gentleman on the phone (so sorry I did not get his name) took all of my information and was supposed to enter it in the computer. However when I arrived for my appointment there was no record of me calling and the price was different, I talked it out with the man at the desk and was able to get back to the original price. I leave my car there, get a call a couple hours later that they actually only have two tires not four. Okay do the two today and i'll come back next week for the others. When I go to pick the car up he says we will have the tires here mid week. I called Friday, two days later then he told me to follow up, and no they do not have my tires, and "didn't even know they needed them" So then the man says our other location has them, you wanna just go there? Why I don't mind driving the extra few miles, don't you think they could've made some attempt to get the tires for me as they said? Overall they did not seem to have it together at all. read more

I made my appointment for 4 tires (BFG gFroce Comp 2 A/S), Brakes, Tune-up, and Oil Change for a Sunday morning at 10AM. It was very convenient for me. Then I go an email confirming my appointment. So I assumed everything was fine. How wrong I was. I have not had great luck with Mr. Tire in the past so I shouldn't have been surprised, but I was. I went in and looked over my receipt. Just giving it a quick glance, I noticed that my name and phone number were wrong on the service ticket. No big deal. Other than the fella at the front counter said that someone had tried to call me three times the previous day. That concerned me. I told them to just take the car around and get started. I don't have a lot of time to spend waiting around, and after all, I got my confirmation email for the appointment, so if anything had been wrong, surely it would have been mentioned in the email. I watched as two other 10AM appointments also had problems with names and phone numbers on their service tickets. As I was waiting, I decided to look at the service ticket a bit more, and I noticed that the tires that were on the service ticket were NOT the tires I had ordered in my appointment. No one had said ANYTHING about that at this point. I asked the fella at the front desk, and he informed me that I was correct. They were the wrong tire. In fact, the were the wrong speed rating. Not even in the same class of tire that I ordered. SO I told him to get my car off of the lift and put it back together. I was leaving. The lead mechanic, a very nice gentleman, asked me to talk to his manager over the phone. His manager "Rob" tried to convince me that it was all alright and everything is fine and on and on.... I don't know what kind of crap they are trying to pull there, but I would recommend that people stay away from this Mr. Tire. They will lie, cajole, and even attempt to bully their customers into accepting THEIR mistakes. I could (should) have just gone to pep boys over in Glen Burnie. I gave them a chance to make this right. They talked a good game. Then Failed. They "gave" me their version of a "discount" and then refused to honor any competitor (or even their own) coupons. Pissed and moaned about what they felt they already did for me. What a bunch of morons. Stay FAR away from these people. They wouldn't even honor THEIR OWN internet prices. LOL. ---dishonesty is their best policy. Called the day before for the $19.99 oil change (basic oil change) , for his Mazda nd mentioned this when the appointment was set up. For Wednesday 6pm on 5/10/17. This was for my brother that just came back from being honorable discharge from the marine corps.when my brother dropped off-- the guy there only said 5000- or 7000?? My brother thought he was asking how many miles since the last oil change...(mind you I I said the $19.99 special basic oil change when making the appointment.When I took my brother back there I even looked at the guy and said -$19.99 oil change special and he confirmed and notted his head saying yeah. . My brother waited and he guy said I don't know what your brother was talking about???. They billed my brother $39.99 for the betteroil change? It's was to be the standard... they would not even give the military discount on the wrong oil service.... that better special is $29.99 (if he would of even wanted it. Very dishonest.....the gentleman did not even mention the oil change options also (even though it was to be the basic $19.99 oil change. In contact with upper management to resolve. I would think they will make this right for misleading and not doing what was requested...extremely disappointing (myself purchasing oil changes (always the basic good one and thousands of dollars in tires throughout the years). Horrible. Paid for the top of the line oil change that was supposed to include tire rotation. It was never done. I am a woman so I mark the tires because...well, you know why. Went in and told the front desk the work was not done and was told that, "Yes it was done." After telling her I marked the tires she stated that the tire rotation is not an automatic part of the oil change, even though at the time the sign hanging on the wall behind her head said it was. I gently let her know that the sign behind her says differently and that it was discussed at the time I ordered the gold star oil change. She said that just because it says it on the sign it does not occur automatically, that you have to special order the rotation. Then she said the promotion was over and that if I wanted it done it would be an extra charge. She said she would have them do it for free this time (oh thanks!) but that it would take several hours to get me back in to get the work done. So let me recap, the work was not done. She lied about it being done. Then she told me it was my fault because I didn't verbalize that I wanted a service done that I paid for. Then she said she didn't actually have to perform the work I paid for and tried to get me to pay for it again. H3ll no! People please, before you stop by, read the reviews. Some of the people they are ripping off are living paycheck to paycheck and depend on their vehicles entirely. Some of them are single mothers who can't afford to pay for bogus work.
