Believe the reviews before you go to this location. I didn't mind waiting for my oil filter to get there, but this location was dirty, and no AC. Let alone the employees working there. The new store manager seemed nice, but the person who checked me out- should be fired. Unprofessional, and ignorant. Never in my life have I paid $130 for an oil change. When I brought that up, his response was "Well everything is up, including oil. We're in that business." Seemed like a 7th grader response honestly. If I could give negative stars I would. One of the worst experiences of my life - and at a very difficult time... and for something so simple. Driving out of town for a funeral in 24 hours. Came out to my car in the morning and had a flat tire due to a nail that I could actually see. Called and scheduled appointment. Asked how much - oddly the person did not have price and had to transfer me. An automated person comes on and says all agents are busy I will get a call back. Of course no one called. 5 minutes before tow truck arrives(which was 90 minutes later mind you) I call back to be sure of the cost. Transferred again and service manager- seemingly extremely irritated with me for some reason - tells me $30. Hour after car is towed there I receive a call back from him - exact words are " can't plug it. New tire is $380 plus tax" Lol - um ok??? I had taken a picture earlier of the nail in the tire so I stopped at Conrad's 5 minutes from Mr Tire and pulled the picture up to the Manager. "We should be able to patch that no problem. Just need a flat surface which it is on. $30.00. " Exactly as I suspected..... BUYER BEWARE!!!! Do not trust this place. I'm a single father - I do not have $400 to throw around for someone's blatant dishonesty. And this is your Manager??? The person who is supposed to be the example for your other employees???? Picked up a nail on the road. Called Mr Tire and they told me I could bring it in immediately and they would look at it. They looked at it right away and were able to plug the tire. Which they did for free! I need new tires but was waiting until November. They were so helpful I asked for an estimate on new Tires! This is the most reputable, reliable, and genuinely caring shop I have ever gone to. Mike went out of his way to explain the issues with my car and took me into the garage to show me damage to the transmission body that the dealer had covered up. His team was able to repair it, and Mike provided continuous updates throughout the day. After my wife's car spun out on the icy highway and hit a curb, he inspected and fixed it within an hour. My car wouldn't start and I got it towed to Monro. Thought that they'd be willing to give me a fair estimate, I was completely wrong. They quoted me $2500 for "recommended minimal repairs", and $3900 for "all of our recommended repairs". This included shocks, brakes, cam and crank sensors, and timing belt work. I got the car towed to Conrad's down the street, they replaced the starter and a dead cell in my battery for $600 (including the diagnostic). If I did all of the "recommended work" at Monro, my car still wouldn't have been fixed. These people will try to take advantage of you. 0/5 stars. read more

Took my car here because it was overheating. The mechanic called and told me I would need the water pump, thermostat, and everything surrounding replaced and it would cost 1650$. Ended up getting fixed for 300$ just a small fix. Went back for routine oil change did a fine job. Recommend coming here for any routine maintenance not for any larger issues. read more

Pros: Convenient location, quick turnaround with repairs, nice staff Cons: It seems like I could never go to this place without dropping at least $300+...I've never had to spend this kind of money on vehicles with any other mechnic. I am starting to really suspect this location is providing unnecessary repairs. I had a "Maintenance Required" light come on in my 2012 Toyota Camry. Me being new to Toyotas, I didnt realize this was a simple "change your oil" light. I took it there months ago and they deemed I needed to replace my fuel lines or something that "got dirty from using cheap gas" for $200. I also was due for an oil change (which I did not know was the cause of the light at the time). They said my car needed synthetic oil so it cost $80 for that as well. Now my "maintenance required" light is on again so it dawned on me that this is just a reminder to change my oil. read more

We broke down driving through Cleveland. We got towed to Monro and we are very glad that's where we were taken. We sat in the lobby for about 6 hours until we found out the part they needed wouldn't arrive until the next day. The manager offered to drive us somewhere to get something to eat and also to the hotel we were going to stay at that night. When we got there the next day everything was done within just a couple hours and then we finished our drive back home. These guys are honest in everything they do. Normally when you think of large franchises you think of sleepy guys who are just working for the money. The manager has definitely turned everything around in this place. It's clean and presentable. I have my oil changed here and also purchase my tires here. The staff is always friendly and helpful and answers the phone after the first or second ring. It seems their prices are close to the same as other auto repair stores - a little more expensive than a garage, and much less than the shop at a car dealer. They also provide references to auto parts companies (not stores like Autozone, more like wholesale auto part stores) if asked. They never have called me regarding issues that I did not know about, and if I declined their additional service, never seemed pressured (warned maybe) to buy from them. I have told every friend and family member I have to NEVER take their vehicles to Monro to get fixed, especially this location. My husband took his car in for a blown radiator hose the end of October 2014, it's now April 2, 2015 and while I was driving his car today, the hood started billowing with steam/smoke (Ironically enough less than a half mile from this Monro- that same place that fixed it 6 months ago). We opted to take our vehicle to a different shop this time due to the obvious reason of the shotty work that was done on our vehicle at monro in October. When we got the vehicle to the other shop we chose, before we could even tell them what had happened, they specifically asked if we had the radiator fixed recently. They asked because the new hose that was installed 6 months ago was NOT CLIPPED IN PROPERLY (are you kidding me- clipped in? I'm pretty confident that even I could clip something in properly), and the radiator itself was not secured correctly- leaving the radiator flapping back and forth as we were driving for the last 6 months. Monro charged us nearly $400 to do a job improperly, and now 6 months later we have to get the entire radiator replaced for near the same price that Monro charged us for a simple hose replacement 6 months ago. I cannot stress how disappointed I am with monro's customer service and lack of being able to repair a car properly, when that is exactly the reason they are in business- to repair cars. AVOID! Mechanic smokes while changing oil, and they did not seat oil filter correctly.

Avoid this place at all costs ! I was told I needed things that were not necessary,was charged 757.00 dollars for rear brake pads and a caliper.(40 dollars for shop supplies) I asked the manager why so expensive,and was told they use premium parts.Took the wheels off to find the same Chinese parts sold at any discount part store.The employees were rude on the phone.You have many choices,do not chose this place unless you have a lot of extra money to waste on your car. read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone. It is a worst place to get a car repaired. I had a terrible experience with them today. Worst customer service...Rude and arrogant people running the shop..Very dishonest people in there. I had my car's engine light on, so I took it to them to take a look, as the shop was close by ( should have looked at the review here before stepping in there )..Ended up paying $700+ to diagnose & repair. The moment i started the car, after the repair, the engine made this whoozing sound and started vibrating (did not have this issue when I took it to them). I asked them if they could take a look, but the guy at the counter came to me real rude and threw tantrums at me, wasn't even interested to co-operate. After you spend $700+ bucks on them, the least they could do is show some co-operation and receptive to the concern of their customer. The guy at the counter gave a vibe like "f** off, you paid your money, now you are on your own..".
