Blown away by the overall service and great employees. Very friendly staff. Free bottle of cold water. Prices are fair and they also have a military discount. They dont try to up sell you on anything unnecessary. They took out my air filter and showed me and said I dont need a new one yet. Most places want you to spend $$$ so they tell you its time to replace it. I will def be back. Who ever also does the signage in front has a good sense of humor. I made my third trip today for an echeck at this Take Five and was unsuccessful all 3 times! First time, the equipment not working. Second, the technician not there, so come back after noon. Third time (at 12:30) the technician not there, had an emergency. I will never go back. This is not a way to run a business and they should not state that they are an emissions testing place. read more

Shame on you Take 5.... I already have a claim number but corporate office is NOT helping me. It's the coldest week of the year and I have no heat in my family car... how would YOU feel? Read my story and timeline below and GET SOMEONE to help me! I have kids and this was a catastrophic mess up by this Take 5 location and two RUDE employees who BROKE MY CAR. ou broke my car! READ WORSt EXPERIENCE of my LIFE!!! My how this review has changed... BAD!!!! Update!!! My next trip to Take 5 was/is a disaster. Wildly rude employees and I had a coolant flush and the heat no longer works in my car!! I want someone from corporate office to call me TODAY. It is the dead of winter and I need heat in my car. Considering how rude the guys were today, I would rather work with someone who can handle customer service. Damn shame here' I had a great experience last time. Give me a contact number that works / someone to reach out to. I've been on hold for 20mins and counting with your customer service. VERY upset!! Update: Sarah from the customer service phone line was EXCELLENT at her job. Waiting to hear back from District manager... UPDATE!! Holy crap! My car started overheating on my way home AFTER talking to Sarah in customer service. I pulled into a different take 5 location located on Claude Rd in Westlake Ohio to see if they could help me. They informed me there WAS NO COOLANT IN THE CAR! Now, my thermostat is BROKEN and the heat doesn't work in my car! I didn't even go in for a coolant flush! I was there for an oil change and was sold on the flush! The guy with the Ghost Tatoo and the jerk with the hoodie working at the Fairview Park location should be FIRED!!! My car ran without coolant!!! What is wrong with you? NEVER use the Fairview Park Ohio location! Thank you to the Clauge road location for putting coolant in. At least it's not overheating. Just ZERO heat in the coldest month of the year. I have kids and I can't drive with fogged up windows! I could not be more upset!! I want a FULL refund and YOU WILL be paying for my broken heating system!!! 01/14/25 Update: it's now Tuesday late afternoon and still no response from management. Called Sarah in customer service (who was super nice and helpful again). She is personally escalating to a manager for me. Thank you Sarah! We shall see how soon someone contacts me. For now, I'm going to have to rent a car to take a road trip on the snow / winter this weekend as my car has no heat. It's becoming more expensive for me and I don't know a person in this world that wouldn't be furious! HELP Me 01/16/25 Update: I spent over $300.00 to rent a car for my family vacation. Which is WHY I was getting the oil changed and coolant flushed in the first place. This is getting more expensive by the day Take 5. I'm saving my receipts... ;) HOW WOULD YOU PERSONALLY FEEL OWNER OF TAKE 5 ? This is HOrRIBlE! Let's freaking go! I need a safe car! I do not want to take this down a legal route so PLEASE let's resolve this!! 01/19/25 Update 4 more days have past since my claim number was "escalated" to "district manager". What's funny to me is that the owner is commenting on all the positive Google reviews and just ignoring mine... Update: 01/20/25 Finally broke down and called the Fairview Park shop. Once again, I'm told (by the manager that messed up my car Daniel B.) That a district manager will contact me. I called the customer service number as well and was on hold for 30 mins again. I can't take this car to get fixed without a district manager to approve in order to avoid my claim being denied. It says it in the fine print. If this is the case, it is UNFAiR business practice to leave someone with a broken car for over a week... it's negative 10 degrees outside... still no heat... Update 01/21/25 Called customer service spent another 45 mins on the phone to be told, "a district manager will contact you in 48 hours". FOR THE THIRD TIME. 48 hours has also passed from my call to the actual shop that messed up my car... WHERE is the District Manager!?!? read more

This place was FANTASTIC! I'm a travel nurse and usually hate getting my oil changed but this was the best oil change experience I've ever had. I was greeted with a cold water bottle and given my options with no pressure to pick something more expensive than what I wanted. They were insanely fast and showed me the full levels on the oil change stick when they were finished. I even got a receipt detailing all that was done (which I usually have to ask for as I like to keep for my records). Amazing job and professional service, thank you! read more

This place is great. I've gone a couple times now for an oil change when I'm not able to set up an appointment at a standard oil change place and when I don't feel like waiting and hour or more for the service. You can also get your echeck test done here, or you can even just swing by and they will check your tire pressure for free. The latter I did early this morning when my warning light came on when I was headed to work. They even went above and beyond in helping me by removing this small plastic under car guard plate that had been partially torn off when I got stuck in the snow recently and it was dragging. All of this took place with me comfortably sitting in my car and done in like 5-10 minutes. Everyone has been very friendly and helpful especially when I'm asking questions to try and understand my car. The guys here do not patronize you like I have experienced when dealing with other standard oil change places. Very kind guys who genuinely seem like they want to help you. No upselling of other services. There is also a cute younger guy that works there. I would definitely come here again for basic car maintenance/issues and would recommend. read more

Save your money. This location practices unfair business practices. They do not have any postings for fees etc. the tech writer at will, can charge whatever they feel. I asked for the name of the regional manager and such, the technician, REFUSED... to give a contact name. Only a first name was given, no last name as I requested, no phone nimber, or even an email. Go across the street, or a few doors down, and get an HONEST oil change thst is transparent. This place is sitting on a fine line, as to representing an honest business. Took my car at 4:30 on a weekday and had no wait time. The staff (Jessica & Jonathan & Andrew) were super friendly. Jessica was very knowledgeable and answer questions I had. All I needed was an oil change and I didn't feel pressured to get anything else while I was there. I will definitely be back at my next oil change!! read more

I have an older car and am hesitant to bring it to a auto shop. Came in to get a oil change, and they went full service mode on my car. This place is amazing! Paul greeted me as soon as I pulled in and had me pull into the oil change port. They began putting air in my ties and ripping off clouds but before that, a younger gentleman handed us two bottles waters through the window. First time getting my oil changed here. First of all, it was the only place near me open on Sunday, major plus. Lucas and the other gentleman working there were polite, efficient, and offered additional services without being pushy. Also, I was offered a bottle of water and they cleaned my front windshield which I greatly appreciated. I would definitely return. read more
