With just one class down, I'm writing this review with 5 stars because they've done more in the first class in 30 minutes than they have in years past combined, so thank you to HV Swim but also to instructor Richard. My one boy was always so scared of the water, and I've had to request credits because he never went in. Now, he not only stayed there, but swam by himself for the first time ever, was happy about it, and can't wait to go back- he just needed the right motivation. My other son is a fish and was given the right encouragement to do it on his own and swam laps, with a safe eye watching him. I've never felt better about HV Swim, and definitely recommend their lessons!

No 5 year old should have to go through that. Waited 2 weeks to contact us to try and make amends which at that point is a no go. We talking about a half hr and just common courtesy here. I suggest take your kids else where we work hard for our money and no child should be treated this way. I could make a bigger deal about this and go to the state and owners of golds gym and let them in on what type of organization this is. The teachers have provided such a wonderful, fun, and loving environment where kids can be kids but also learn the tools they need to begin elementary school. (I'd recommend Marilyn's class if you're new to hot yoga, although she also challenges experienced yogis.) Mary plays the best music; if you want to jam out during your asana practice, go to her Friday night class. I honestly couldn't love this place more. I have nothing negative to say. We signed him up to go to the karate school soon after and he has really blossomed - he was more of a shy uncertain kid with little to no self confidence now he has no problem raising his hand , offering to helping others , speaking up and using his voice , he's like another child The thing I really love about them ( one of many things I should say ) is they send forms to the elementary school to see how they are doing and keeping up with their studies as they really emphasized how important it is to do well at school and be respectful at home They also do these wonderful events that the community is invited to : open houses , holiday parties , summer BBQ 's , back to school events , parents night outs so many to name! The instructors there as well as the owner as just simply wonderful people and they really make it feel like your second family there we really love it and highly recommend it to everyone
