Hi, I just had a brand new house built and like most customers was worried about having anyone cut holes in the wall. Originally, I thought I would go with Best Buy because of the limited options, UNTIL I got in contact with Mr. TV Mount. I have to say that Gina, was very friendly and reasonable. She was able to work on and negotiate prices with me. For the service you receive the prices are awesome!!! The two contractors, Sam and the other guy were great. They spent the majority of the day at my home and I wouldn't have known the amount of work it took to install my home theater system because they patched everything up very well. The cable managment was superb and you couldn't see any of the wires that were ran through multiple walls in my home. My fiancee and I are expecting a baby this July and they even installed the baby gate on the the stairway for us at no charge:0) The contractors were very professional and offered me great advice that saved me ALOT of money. I am 110 percent satisfied with the sevice I receive yesterday and will definitely use this company in the future if I ever need to receive any of the services they provide. I was so impress with the contractors and their work, I even took business cards to hand out to my coworkers :0) For anyone that's stuck in a decision on whether to utilize these guys.......DO IT!!! Let me start out by stating that the other reviews here @ yelp are 100% spot on. I like many other savy consumers was very apprehensive about the work to be done. The quote was a little higher then I had expected, until I witnessed the level of skill and detail it took to complete the task .We had a very difficult install and the job came out better then my expectations. We were planning on mounting a 59'' on a two story all brick/rock fireplace (mason work all the way upto the celing). Obviously we were sceptical with anyone coming and drilling/cutting holes in our beautiful mason work, however our installers did a fantastic job. Their attention to detail and work ethics place them a cut above the rest. No longer will I have to rely on unqualified G33k Squad and their outrages prices and sloppy work. Our job took almost six hours of work and the work was meticulous, no wires no unsightly holes not even a mess was left behind. They even cut the stone work out of the fireplace in such a way, in the event I want to take down the TV I can put the stones back in their original fashion without ever knowing a wall mount was there. I can only imagine what a contractor or electrition would charge here in NOVA. To wrap up this review, Mr Tv Mount made it their priority before closing out the job that we were 100% fully satisied. I tried to mount my 60" Aquos...what a dope. After spending the better part of a Saturday morning and nearly killing myself in the process I looked for help. Came across Mr. TV Mount, read the reviews and set up an appointment. I wanted it over the fireplace leaving room below for a sound bar. It needed to be done "just right." The guys showed up, assessed the situation, returned to the truck, grabbed their gear and, within 15 minutes, were headed back out the door. All done. I was floored. They were polite, professional, knowledgable and they left the place in better shape than they found it. I knew they ran a tight ship when their "gear" included a powerful little vacuum cleaner. Sam did a fantastic job mounting our flat panel LCD TV and home theater system. We had all of the wires concealed within the walls, and the finished job looks fantastic and very professional. He showed up right on time. When the job ended up taking longer than he estimated due to some complications with our walls, he stayed late and did not charge any more than the original estimate for the job. We will definitely have him do our other entertainment systems in the future. read more

These guys were awesome! I called around to 5-6 places and Mr TV Mount was the most competitive in pricing, by far. They even told me what mounts they use, so I could find it on Amazon (and saved $70 by doing so). The guys showed up early, were super respectful and friendly, and were done in under 40 minutes (mounted a 60" tv on an articulating mount on a wall, not above a fireplace). They cleaned up all the trash and vacuumed up any dust (and probably left my floor cleaner than it was to begin with). I would absolutely recommend them!! read more

I purchased an installation package from this company to mount my flat screen tv above my fireplace. The "all in one" package included HDMI cables and wall plates, hiding the cables and making a power outlet in the wall, patching the drywall where they opened it and an extended warranty. My problem is with this warranty which is worthless and misleading, and the unprofessional treatment I received from the manager when I complained. Shortly after the tv was installed, I could not get cable or WII game system on the HDMI inputs that were set by the technicians during the installation. I contacted the company and they sent out service technicians. The technician informed me that the port on my flat screen had "gone bad" and changed the HDMI inputs to different ones for the cable and the WII which worked. I was contacted after the service visit by a representative who informed me that since the port on my tv was bad that was "not their fault" and thus not covered by the warranty I purchased. He waived the 99.00 fee that he said would normally be charged to me because the issue was not their fault. I thought that was the right thing to do since I have never had any problems with getting cable or WII on any ports on the tv before. The next month, I could not get cable or WII on the mounted tv once again. I called the company and they sent the same technicians. The technician switched my cable box that was attached to the mounted flat screen with a second cable box that we had in the basement and it worked when he tried it. He informed me that the jack on my cable box was bad and that was "not their fault" so they charged me 99.00 for the visit. I spoke to the manager by phone and said that I did not think it was fair to charge me for the visit when I paid for an extended warranty and none of these problems ever happened before they installed the tv. The manager rudely responded that I should have called Verizon when I could not get cable on my mounted tv instead of them. I could get cable just fine before the installation and never had any issues with the cable box. I told him that I thought this was poor customer service and I intended to file a complaint to which he responded that he didn't care and I could file all the complaints I want. What a way to treat a paying customer. So, I paid a substantial amount for an installation service that isn't working properly and a warranty that only covers issues that are "their fault" and conveniently nothing is. All of the problems with my tv happened after installation and I have yet to see if what the technicians did the second time will actually work in the long term. What's worse, if things should go wrong again, I would not contact them because they will claim it's not "their fault" and charge more money for a service that has not been delivered and terrible customer service on top of it all. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone and I hope that anyone thinking of working with them will think again after reading this and choose otherwise. read more

I have been a Yelp member for nearly 8 years now (and I've been reading reviews for far longer than that), and this is my first ever review. I've lurked and read thousands of reviews of everything from restaurants to doctors offices and always rolled my eyes when someone rated someone 1 star, wondering what they could have stuck up their butt that caused such a poor review. No more. I moved this weekend and schedule Mr. TV Mount to mount two TV's in my home. I requested an estimate and let them know that the price was higher than I wanted to pay (no problem with that). We went back and forth over email for a couple days, and agreed on a new price. They took a couple things out of the package (going from name brand to generic mount, and doing less hiding of cables) to get the price down to a number I was comfortable with. We scheduled a time for technicians to come out two weeks later - I even received a phone call the night before confirming the work and the price and the time they'd be coming and to make sure I'd still be home. The technicians showed up on-time and ready to work. The technician took a look and said that for him to do the work, it would be $400 more than what he had as a price on his paperwork. I showed him the email from the office where we had agreed on a price and he said he couldn't honor that price that the person I spoke with "only worked part time." I was then called about 5 minutes later from the office. Morgan, who called, whom I had emailed with previously was very nice, but firm in that they would not honor the price that I had been quoted. She also said that the person whom had sent me the quote "doesn't work here every day." I don't know what in the world that has to do with anything, but she refused to honor the price that had been agreed upon. She offered to call a manager, but he wasn't available (not unreasonable considering it was 6pm on a Saturday), so then she decided to start to play "Let's Make a Deal." First she said she'd instruct them to do the work exchange for $200 more than the agreed upon price, telling me this was a deal because it should have been $400 more. Then we discussed what my total budget for the project was and how we could make this work within that budget. I said I wanted it to work within the price we had agreed upon, but she said she was not willing to do that. We both read the email exchange at the same time over the phone and she acknowledged that they had offered me the service at the rate, but confirmed that she would honor our deal at the agreed upon price. I had even sent pictures of the space - per their request - for them make an accurate quote - a fact that she confirmed. They knew what I wanted and they knew what the space was where they would be working. I was told that I'd get a call back (I'm assuming on Monday) to discuss rescheduling at a new time, and what I can only assume is a new price, but I can't imagine I'll be doing that. I've never seen a worse bait and switch in my life (even if it wasn't intentional). Never again. See you again in 8 years for my next Yelp review. read more

Mr TV Mount installed my tv on a brick wall over the fireplace. They were extremely helpful when I was shopping for a company to do this job. They communicated frequently with answers to questions, suggestions and ideas before I even selected them. Their quote was competitive with others, but I would have been willing to choose them even if they were more expensive because of the trust I had in them. I was able to schedule an appointment at my convenience that coordinated well with the TV delivery. They arrived on time, were incredibly courteous and efficient. They provided the brackes and all cables and cords. They also cleaned up old cable/Verizon cables, wires and cords around the area which improved the look dramatically. They installed and connected all components including the wifi connections. They programmed remotes and taught me how to use everything. They even came back a couple hours later and again a few months later when I did something wrong and straightened me out. I wish I had more TVs to install, because this was one of the most pleasant vendor interactions I have ever had. read more

I have had 5 different TVs installed by these guys and they did a great job on all of them. I have had everything from 40" to 65" done, flat and tilt brackets, above fireplaces, cables hidden, etc and in all cases excellent work. They do a great job showing you with blue tape where the TV is going to go and helping you fine tune the installation area so it's perfect for viewing. They made an especially tight fit work in our sitting room in our master bedroom. They also do a great job with getting cables run and hidden. In some cases where our stock cables were a little short they provided extensions and adapters at no extra charge so that everything fit perfectly. If you have everything prepared for them (cable box, surge protector, TV, HDMI cable, Ethernet cable, etc) they will run everything and hook it all up and make sure it's all operating as expected. They are usually pretty quick too but they take enough time to do things right and they use a level multiple times to really make sure things are level, centered and straight. They usually are running a bit behind schedule by the end of the day but I would rather have them behind schedule than rushing through jobs. So that's not a complaint, more just an FYI if you are scheduling late in the day with them. Overall a great company that does great work, and although not ridiculously cheap or anything, I find a lot of value in the service they provide. read more

These guys are truly fantastic! Not only did they do same-day installation for me on a TV that another notable company could not, but they even did it with only 1 hour's notice. I called at 2:30 and by 3:15 they had arrived the same day! They did superb work and their price was $30 less than the competition to boot. These guys are really disappointing. They called me on three occasions to change the time for the install and still couldn't get it right. I spoke to Matt on the day of the install and we agreed 2:30 vice 12:00 would be an acceptable time since they were short on techs that day. Already frustrated, 2:30 passes and I received neither a phone call nor e-mail providing a status of the technician. They finally decide to call me at 4:00 to tell me they are going to be late and they are around the corner. Thanks, but your services are no longer required. I only chose to give them 2 stars instead of 1 because Matt was friendly on the phone when I talked to him and he was apologetic. I cannot speak to the quality of service or cost since I elected not to have them install the TV. read more

Within three days, I had an in-home estimate and my 42" plasma installed perfectly over my fireplace. Sam and Gina were customer-focused, friendly and efficient. They did a good job mounting and dismounting, but we paid this company to patch the holes left in our fireplace and they did a very sloppy patch job. They just slapped gobs of plaster on - it looks terrible! We are selling our house and now I have to fix the bad patch job they did. read more

In the past my experience has been great which prompted me to use their service once again to mount and hide cables for TVs in my new home. Unfortunately, one of the techs was very rude, obnoxious, and unresponsive. My father and I were so shocked and appalled how tech was speaking to me when I asked questions regarding the install and programming of the remote. At one point, I was hushed and was told my remotes can't be programmed which is not true. I noticed some of the TVs weren't center properly and was told it's not there fault. Lastly, when I contacted the office to speak with the manager I was kept on hold for a long time not knowing the tech was speaking to the manger on another phone line right beside me in -- speaking in another language so I wouldn't know he was speaking to the manger. Only half of my wires were hidden and I asked for an explanation and was disregarded. Today, the customer was not the priority nor was customer service or professionalism. Sam is the man! He had to do a rather complicated job at my place. My TV had to be installed over a Fireplace, he had to really ensure all the speaker wires did not mess up the venting ducts and other items behind the wall. He spent a good 3 hours. My system looks absolutely wonderful. Sam's a very humble guy. Very quite and takes pride in a job well done. I will not hesitate to recommend him. These guys were fantastic. You are able to go on line and submit a request for a quote. They get back to you very quickly. Gina was great. They set actual appointments not the (between XX and XX) like most companies. The guys were running early and called to see if I was available. They took great care with my TV (an older model that was quite heavy). They map out the location with painters tape for me to look at before they drilled. They clean up their work area very well. Yes they are a little expensive but very convienient (they bring their own brackets that they sell as well as HDMI splitters). Some precision instruments used, so that seemed to be a good justification for us to go with them and not just the local handy man. These guys have installed several TVs in our home. Nothing fazes them, they tackled every problem we had, crawled through tight attics to hide cables, patched every wall they had to cut into. First off, they arrived early w/o notice to to a scheduling conflict on there end. The technician called me and after confirming with his dispatch, decided to wait 45 minutes for me to get home. Upon arrival I was surprised at how professional and courteous these two technicians were. They came completely prepared and reinstalled my 75" that was previously installed by geek squad..
