UPDATE: Originally rated 1 star for reasons detailed below. The owner contacted my wife and we agreed to an extra $50 to come out and finish the installation. That worked much better than the originally quoted $199 and the installers did good work. Having said that... the owner spoke broken english, was highly argumentative, raised his voice at my wife, and seemed much more concerned about the profit of this particular engagement than in making the customer happy. My 2 cents: good product / service when things go well. If things go off the rails a bit, they are unreasonable and not customer focused. --------------------------------------------------- Saw the good reviews and hired Mr. TV Mount to install our 55" TV. Unfortunately I don't have such a good review to share. After beginning the installation, (sadly) we realized that the TV was damaged in transit (that part was not their fault, but read on...). They had completed attaching the bracket to the wall, but had not routed cables (which we paid extra for) or mounted the TV. At that time, they were very accommodating and told my wife they would come back and finish the installation for no extra charge. Fast forward a couple of days, and they now i) want to charge the full price of installation in order to come back out and ii) charged my debit card without authorization as if they'd finished the work. The guy on the phone - Mitchell - was rude to both me and my wife, argued that the work had been completed, and insisted that nobody told us the return visit would be free of charge. Save your time and money - hire somebody else to mount your TV. For $353, this is the service you get. Oh BTW, they have a 2 year extended warranty included... I can't even imagine what they charge to service their installation for that "warranty". read more

They did a great job mounting my tv and adding a power outlet behind my tv to hide the wires. They were easy to schedule with and on time for the appointment. They work very quickly but are very precise. I felt the price was reasonable considering the quality of work that they provided. Everyone that comes in comments on how good of a job he did. Mr. Kim is by no means the friendliest person I've come across, but I wouldn't let that sway you from using them. I don't really need my tv install person to be my Bestfriend. We've had these guys out two different times to mount a TV and they were great both times. Even before they came out they spent a lot of time going back and forth over email to help us figure out the best solution. They always responded quickly and they were really helpful to find the right solution. Before I called them I tried to use the Geek Squad at Best Buy. My wife shopped around for a number of estimates for TV Mounts in the DC-area. Of the 5+ vendors which we spoke to, Mr. TV Mount by far had the best price and warranty. We were somewhat skeptical by the low price, but since the Yelp reviews had been so favorable, we decided to go with them. I am pleased to say that we are glad that we did. Our mount was a somewhat complicated 60" TV mounted over a gas-insert fireplace with the wires hidden and the incoming cable connection somewhat distant from the fireplace. Not only were they extremely informative during the whole process and made sure that everything was done to our specification, but also they completed the task in a timely manner (just under one hour, including clean-up). They did an amazing job! Our 75-inch tv looks great on the wall and there isn't a cord in site! The two guys who came were clean, courteous and moved everything back into place when they were done. They were on time, communicated well (ie asked where I wanted the TV, etc.) and the payment was easy. The cost was very low compared to the other quotes we got. Also, when we asked for a quote, they answered within an hour and kept their word on the price. Great job! Would definitely call them again to mount a TV if needed. Two (small) things: 1) They reconnected all the sound through the receiver which caused some issues with the sound and picture not matching quite right. I blame myself, though, not them. This is the correct way of doing it but I didn't know that my husband preferred the sound to go through the tv and then the speakers, so we had to go back and fix it. 2) They put the 75 inch TV on a mount made for TVs up to about 72 inches. They are the experts so I assume it's okay, but hope it stays! read more

Definitely unprofessional my wife called and set up appointment to install a TV they told her it cost 199 and misinformed her for hiding the wires in the wall when I called the guy he told me it is $149 for hiding the wire I asked him what is the $199 will cover he said just installation and right away he told me if you don't like it you can cancel and a deposit or not refundable this guy barely speak English and he don't spend the time to explain to the customer what is he do for the basic installation and then when you ask couple a question he get upset and he tells you if you want cancel then cancel I will not refund your money I ask him if I can talk to the manager so he can explain to me better he told me he's owner when I told him I called my credit card company to cancel the charge immediately called my wife and told her he's going to refund the money. Very impressed! We live in Arlington VA and were unsure who to use to mount a 42 inch tv on drywall above a fireplace. Geek squad was our first idea, but they quoted $250. Their Yelp reviews were poor though. I found this mounting service on yelp. They responded to my request on their website in 1 hr. They were responsive. They gave 10% off for Yelp customers, and asked me to mention that if I posted a review. Theres a $50 deposit, which I wasnt a fan of. But they came exactly when they said, 11 am on Sat morning. They were fast--done in 20 minutes. They were professional, and I am glad they mounted the TV instead of me. I will recommend them to anyone who wants to (or needs to, in our case) mount a TV but doesnt know how, has no drill, and doesnt have the energy to do it yourself.
