There isn't anything bad I can say about this place. The donuts are the best in Colorado. We've never had any issues here and I've ordered one donut all the way up to 600 donuts for an event at my church. They are always friendly, accommodating and helpful. The staff was mediocre and not friendly. The older lady that we assume is a manager, that was running drive-thru was the worst. When my son tried taking a to go menu she actually told him he couldn't have it. Then after the cashier rang us up, she walked over, ripped off the receipt from the register and double checked that everything was rang up right in front of us. And how degrading is that to the cashier? Why have someone running a register if you don't trust them? So on top of bad customer service, the food was edible but definitely not great. We would not go back or recommend to anyone. read more

I am pretty sure this place is under new ownership. Its definitely not the Mr. Yos I remember. 1st time I went, huge selection, everything delicious. I moved away for a while. Second time. I got 4 kolaches ( sausage in an unsweetened donut for you colorado people). Made me sick. Sausage was bad. In the bathroom all morning. About a year later. Thought that maybe it might be better. Walk in. Almost no selection of donuts. When I ask for 2 jalapeño kolaches, I was corrected not once but twice, to call the sausage rolls. They didn't even have any. I walked out. This place seriously has the best doughnuts I have ever had. Their filled croissant doughnuts are the best thing I have ever tasted. However, the service here is AWFUL. The people who work here are so incredibly rude it's appalling. There are a few friendly faces that work there but a majority of the people are so ridiculously rude. I went a few days ago and the girl working was so rude to me that I walked out and felt extremely uncomfortable about our encounter. Like I said, the doughnuts are so good so I will go back, but the customer service is far below average and makes me apprehensive to go sometimes. read more

They have THE best donuts but I find it so insanely frustrating and unprofessional to be close all of the time with out notice. This is the second time I have driven from Loveland for their donuts only to find them closed. I can understand family emergencies on a very rare occasion but this is several times a month. Never in my life have I tasted a better donut. When Dunkin donuts moved into town, everyone said that it would put MR. Yos out of business. I knew it wouldn't. And it hasn't even bothered MR. Yos. They have the best donuts ever. The glaze that they use is sweet and perfect. The donuts are priced great and are so sweet and fluffy and airy. Anyone who visits Windsor MUST visit mr. Yos. Dunkin' Donuts, Krispy Kreme, and all other donuts have nothing on MR. Yos. I could easily finish off a dozen by myself because they are so wonderful. read more

My step daughter had these amazing donuts at her wedding in December and they were the best donuts ever! So my friend and I drove 50 minutes away from Broomfield to get some this weekend and honestly, we both said it was worth the drive!! My husband and sons were excited too as they all commented they were the best donuts as well! The old fashioned cake donuts, the sugary creme brûlée cream filled, and the red velvet donuts were our favorites! The donuts all have that texture you look for, slightly crispy on the exterior, moist on the inside. Mr. Yo, I am impressed! Your donuts are so good, with the croissant donuts ranking in my top three for all the donuts I have EVER had---in my life! The croissant donuts are my favorite, but I have yet to be disappointed, and all have been delicious, from coconut frosted cake donuts to simple raised glazed. I try to find reasons to go to Windsor more often just to have them, and for my birthday (and mother's day this year) my husband drove super early just to get them for me. Here are a few reasons why: - perfect texture, always fresh and soft and wonderful -sweet, but not cloying -inventive without sacrificing the basics (some donut places are all about flashy flavors, but their dough leaves something to be desired. Mr. Yo's are delicious, even the plain cake because the dough itself is so good) - willing to go the extra mile (e.g., letting me call ahead since I live 20 miles away) Just for reference, the others in my top three are Doughnut Plant (NYC) and Henion Bakery's Honey Glazed (Amherst, MA). I am a huge donut lover, although I typically try to eat healthy.... therefore, I like to make it worth it when I indulge, and these are just too good to pass up. Also, the prices are just fine for what they are. I saw that they will be increasing a little bit at the start of the year, but these are not your average mass produced donuts, and I think they will continue to be worth it. I am sharing this information to point out that the scene I witnessed this past Sunday at Mr. Yo's was not only shocking and incredibly unprofessional, but also completely unnecessary. One of the women working there made a scene and spoke to a family with such disrespect that everyone in the shop at the time was taken aback. All of it was due to a small child who walked up to a rack of donuts which was placed directly adjacent to the lobby. The worker felt the child had gotten too close to the donuts, and her hissy fit commenced. The family was apologetic and paid for all the donuts, but the woman continued to treat them poorly. The truth is, however, that anyone who walks in the door may potentially contaminate the donuts with a cough or sneeze, considering the fact that the donuts are left uncovered in such close proximity to the lobby. The child did little, if anything, to increase this risk. As this is an issue important enough to the business to mistreat customers over, perhaps they should consider exploring real solutions to the problem instead of treating people like plague infested vermin. I will not be returning to this business, not because there is anything wrong with their food, but because they seem to lack basic human decency. I sincerely hope that the employee involved will consider what is wrong in her life to make her treat people this way. read more

i am a donut addict, and since trying mr. yo's we continue to go back just about every weekend. the donuts are really yummy, fresh and lots of varieties to choose from. i agree that unless you get there early, a lot of the selection is gone--now i know :) very friendly staff and is always clean too. i wish the donuts had more frosting on them than the little ring around the top; would love to see it dripping down the sides, but that is just me. the real bacon on top of the maple bar is awesome!! read more
