Delightful bagel shop. Giddy happy employees & why not the decor is pink. Yummy sandwiches with very custom never-seen-before combos. A lot with smashed potato chips in between. (remember 4th grade?) We love the no salmon Royal Palm. Toasted everything bagel with two schmears of cream cheese and ICE cold tomatoes, cukes, & sliver of red onion. Like a Nova Plate from Chompies Phoenix. I've been passing by Call Your Mother Deli for months, but haven't stopped in for lack of close-in parking. Well, recently on my way home from working out at the Aztlan Center I was thinking about lunch and decided to turn the corner at Maple and whaddayaknow, there was a spot right there. I was hoping it would be more Jewish deli as in pastrami piled high on rye than bagel shop, but it is what it is. I decided to try one of their specials which must have been off of their spring menu since I don't see it online right now. I think it might have been called the Addison? Egg salad and potato chips on a bagel. I love egg salad but hadn't ever thought about putting potato chips on it - genius. I think my friends from NYC would probably say the bagels aren't chewy enough, but I think the not-so-chewy texture is just fine for a sandwich - who needs egg salad squirting out when you take a bite? I wasn't sure what I wanted to drink - the server went through a few options and hit upon an iced matcha latte - that sounded like it would hit the spot. Relative to other places one can get an iced matcha latte I think the one at CYM is a pretty good value - a large cup, not too much ice, and tasty. While it didn't take long for my order to come up, I will say that the interior of the shop is jarringly pink - I dunno, bright enough to put me on edge like someone was kvetching at me. What a fun bagel shop in Ft Collins! They were busy Saturday morning so that was a good sign to me! Inside felt like stepping into the 1990s and I loved it. Everyone working were super nice and helpful with suggestions. I had a salted Carmel white mocha which was super yummy. The three of us that came in all ordered the Sun City. I had the bacon on it and it was delicious. I only regret not getting it on a different bagel as I really don't like "everything" bagels. The friends who told me about Call Your Mother had no idea what to make of the name (I didn't explain). Cheerful, bustling place with bagels, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, happy vibe and everything I could possibly have wanted in a lunch spot. The tuna salad is - perfect! Tuna with just enough tiny celery and onion dice to offer crunch, and only a whisper of mayonnaise. Latkes well done enough to satisfy even Bubbe, and the apple jam truly substitutes for applesauce. If the rule is, "Never eat anything bigger than your head," please don't order a pickle (also perfect, BTW). Be prepared to walk a block or so, in order to find parking (but you need those extra steps anyway, right?). Adorable coffee mugs and t-shirts on offer too. I love this place! They have super unique flavors such as a key lime cream cheese, or my personal favorite lunch sandwich- paradise farm! This time we got a garlic cheese bagel with roasted veggie cream cheese and it hit so hard. They also have pastries and coffee that i can vouch for are good too. Super cute vibes, with decorations everywhere and merch you can buy. Places to sit. Super kind workers who even gave us free cookies and cinnamon rolls as we had come at the end of the day when they were going to toss the stuff that didn't sell. Thought I'd give them a second chance - still disappointing. How does a "deli" make a lox and bagel breakfast that is flavorless? Probably by skimping on the onions and capers. And when you specify that you want your bagel toasted so it brown you expect it to be. It wasn't. And to make matters worse - it was early in the morning and I was the first customer of the day. Overall good, but overpriced. I ordered the Glen Eagle bagel, while it tasted great, the size was seemed smaller than what's shown in the photos. The portion was fine for one person, but for the price, I expected a bit more. The bagel itself was well-seasoned, warm, and flavorful, so no complaints there on taste of this specific bagel. My partner, however, ordered the Sun City pastrami which was quite oily and lacked flavor. The staff, in my short interaction, were very nice! The individual that helped me was wearing a pride flag on their shirt. I really appreciate seeing a company that allows its employees to express themselves... ESPECIALLY one owned by an investment firm, which isn't always the case. As for the inside, it is not exactly my style, but it's clean, bright and VERY colorful. Definitely a fun breakfast spot overall. Just maybe don't visit if you have a hangover --kidding! Overall 3/5 stars: some of the food was decent, but not worth the price. The bagels are all delicious! The service is great and it was the perfect breakfast place for me and my girlfriend. The environment is perfectly catered to the ladies, making it the best place to go if you want to make your girlfriend happy. If she were writing this review - it would definitely be 6 stars. The only reason I would consider subtracting a star was my drip coffee wasn't very good. They have many other items in regards to beverages, so i probably should've tried something else. read more

Phenomenal bagels sandwiches. We got the Thunderbird, Edgewater, and Queen's Point. 10/10 on taste and quality. Not sure I've ever been so impressed by a bagel outside of NYC. My daughter is a student at CSU and this is her favorite place to eat, breakfast or lunch. We brought the family up for a visit & tour of the campus and went to Call Your Mother for breakfast. We all loved the food and a great experience with the staff, all friendly and helpful. The bagel sandwiches are our favorite and can't go wrong with either of the babkas. Really nice and helpful staff but there is no way this is a "Jew-ish" deli, the pure disrespect of the shmear I experienced here was abysmal. The one sided shmear didn't even reach the edges and there was bagel showing through. Also the prices are so high no self respecting jew would be seen within 8 miles of this place. read more
