What a fun bagel shop in Ft Collins! They were busy Saturday morning so that was a good sign to me! Inside felt like stepping into the 1990s and I loved it. Everyone working were super nice and helpful with suggestions. I had a salted Carmel white mocha which was super yummy. The three of us that came in all ordered the Sun City. I had the bacon on it and it was delicious. I only regret not getting it on a different bagel as I really don't like "everything" bagels. They had a variety of breakfast and lunch options and desserts as well. I'll be back for sure!

    Perfect tuna salad. Really!

The friends who told me about Call Your Mother had no idea what to make of the name (I didn't explain). Cheerful, bustling place with bagels, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, happy vibe and everything I could possibly have wanted in a lunch spot. The tuna salad is - perfect! Tuna with just enough tiny celery and onion dice to offer crunch, and only a whisper of mayonnaise. Latkes well done enough to satisfy even Bubbe, and the apple jam truly substitutes for applesauce. If the rule is, "Never eat anything bigger than your head," please don't order a pickle (also perfect, BTW). Be prepared to walk a block or so, in order to find parking (but you need those extra steps anyway, right?). Adorable coffee mugs and t-shirts on offer too. A gorgeous black-and-white cookie lagnaippe. Guess where I'm coming for my road food when I go home on Saturday??

GREAT bagels and lovely ambiance. MUCH better than the only other bagel option in foco (not to be named) -- If you're looking for a real east coast bagel with a twist then you've come to the right place. Order ahead online if you want to skip the line! The pastrami is soooo good, the jetski is like a yummy burrito is a bagel.

Food and service were good but quite expensive. Also it was uncomfortably loud in there.

While interested in the tuna sandwich, I was really hungry, so I got an omelette instead. As it turns out, judging by the size of my wife's chicken salad sandwich and fries, the tuna likely would've been plenty for me, and I'll try it on a future visit. My omelette (with cheese, spinach, mushrooms, and onions) was fine, but nothing unusual from an omelette you'd get elsewhere. Home fries and ciabatta toast were both really good too. Coffee was delicious. Speaking of the chicken salad sandwich, my wife enjoyed it on her first visit too and was equally impressed this time. Definitely a big sandwich. I'm sure she'll get it again.

Thankfully, it was a beautiful February day, and we enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine while we waited. The restaurant isn't very big, so it's a little bit noisy. But the wallpaper is really beautiful and it fits the theme very well. Some of the things highlighted in other reviews include homemade bread and homemade hot sauce. I'm not a hot sauce eater, so I can't weigh in on that. The fresh bread was pretty awesome. The fresh jam was Cherry vanilla, which neither of us liked very much. It tasted too much like pie filling, and the texture was off. My husband enjoyed his chicken fried steak immensely. My breakfast, which included a large pancake, an egg and a link of sausage was priced at $10 which was an amazing price. Both of us went home with leftovers. Our server was friendly and attentive. She may have had a bit too much energy if I'm being honest, but I'd rather that than someone who is lackluster and boring!

I end up leaving about half of my meal or have to force myself to finish. I've really tried to love it since Rainbow always has rave reviews, but it's just not for me. I've visited to try out their vegan/vegetarian options when I'm in the mood to eat something lighter or focus on plant-based meals since they're known for their accommodating menu. I've tried the falafel wrap, the scrambled tofu, and the vegan breakfast burrito. I've also tried their golden milk latte. I love turmeric/golden milk lattes so I was excited to try it here. It was okay, but a little too grainy for my taste. The service is fine, but nothing stands out about it. You arrive, place your order, and they'll deliver to your table or give you a buzzer so you can pick up. The restaurant itself is charming, bright, and clean. It has a really great vibe. The best part is the popular patio area especially on beautiful, sunny days. Rainbow is a good restaurant, just not for me.
