They sold out of the bass fillet and the mussels (specials for the night/week - forgot what Jasmine said) so if you want to try these, order asap! Drinks were great! I asked for a Caesar as my second/third drink and wanted a specific amount of spice, Jasmine just came with the tabasco and put the amount I wanted, thank goodness! I feel like we definitely got the best service sitting by the drinks bar with Jasmine just genuinely kind and chatting with us. We had a great time and will definitely be coming here again.

It doesn't look busy but they have a steady flow of online deliveries/pickups. The only feedback is the receipts seem really long because they include the waiver to not use ketchup in each receipt. Since they ask for your number to order on the tablet, probably just include it the first time. We forgot to order a drink and ordered it separately and it is unnecessary to print another long receipt again for one drink. Lastly a curious question I have is why the name Shelby's? Just found this place as it used to be a Yummy's chinese food restaurant. I've had food from here twice in the last 2 weeks. I live really close to this place, so I sent my son there to pick it up. I ordered the Chicken shawarma plate. This comes with coleslaw, fresh salad your choice of cous-cous or rice and very nice serving of chicken or beef shawarma. It comes with a spiced ketchup based sauce and a yougurt based sauce and finally a huge piece of Lavash flatbread (very similar to naan). Let me tell you this is very tasty and filing. I also ordered 1 chicken and 1 beef shawarma wraps. Excellent food. Will go back again and again. Will update at a later date with menu and possibly photos. read more

Wanted to check out this new Mediterranean restaurant that just opened up in Woodbridge. I am familiar with Shawarma, as it is very popular in Vaughan. Found the location to be very convenient, right next to the exit and entrance for HWY 400. I've got to say, the food here is amazing. I don't know what authentic shawarma taste like, but if I had to guess, I would say this is spot on. I received very friendly service, I was asked to pay after I had my meal. I ordered a chicken shawarma wrap, with the optional Lawash bread. It is made fresh by order, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. All toppings, sauces and shawarma are mixed in a bowl and then placed in the wrap. I've got to say this makes a day and night difference. Definitely my new favourite Mediterranean restaurant, will be going back to try something else. read more

The flatbread is made fresh on the griddle as you order....your choice of rice or couscous with your order (I asked for both). The chicken shawarma is very, very tasty. The falafels are the biggest I've ever seen and equally as tasty. Everything is fresh and not overly dressed or coated in oil. Very fresh and very delicious--we are going back again. Great falafels.. swell service! Really good array of beverages here. I'm eating meat now so I thought I'd let you know tht their beef etc. Sandwiches are really good too! I only don't give them a full five stars because I find it kinda suspicious in a recent visit one of the mor promenate staff asked me fairly funny 'you just want a drink?' with a funny tone to it.And sometimes service is a bit less than good. Drove out to Teston rd and the 400 one evening after hearing about this place. They advertise the best shawarma in town.... guess what...it sure is, very friendly staff, sandwiches are huge and inexpensive. I backed into a parking spot and walked in. I got the most warm and friendly greeting by the man behind the counter. My order was right in front of me by the time that I walked over there. "I think this bag is my order," I said to him, showing my order number on my phone. "Yes, it is. Enjoy!" he said. I thanked him and wished him a great day. He reciprocated and I walked happily out the door with my order. I had one of the meals for dinner when I got home. I had the other the following day. The beef gyros was yummy.
