The reason I left was the fulfillment / business side. It seems 3 day weekends causes a disruption in their shipping so on several occasions I had to call/email to get my shipment released. Out of frustration I called the main office and was promised some free meals as an accommodation. That never happened. My final straw with them was the "reward points". I never saw them accrue on my account. Well over $300 worth. When I cancelled they all showed up in my point history as cancelled. I essentially lost a free order of food on the deal - they lost a customer. The people I train with suggested MegaFit meals and we have moved our subscriptions over for a trial run.

Companies that don't accept Amex are trying to save an extra ~0.5% in processing fees by blocking out Amex cards. If a company is willing to do this, what else are they willing to do to get an extra 0.5% profit margin? Or an extra 10%? 20%? Make up macros and make you sign an agreement saying there's no guarantees is the answer. Maybe it doesn't stop there. They advertise 70, 80, even 90 grams of protein in meals that show up and are probably more like 40-50. But you sign an agreement allowing them to make up their macro claims. If you're trying to track macros, go somewhere else. Don't trust this company. The giveaway was no Amex then when the meals arrived it just verified further that they are not honest. EDIT: I posted this review on their website's "review" page twice and they deleted it both times. Do not trust all their fake reviews and paid "news articles". God knows what kind of macros people are actually eating or what other crap are in these meals.

I recommend calling ahead to order (cash or venmo) or ordering online (for pickup or delivery). The last time I ordered I called in and I always get their 6 piece combo that comes with your choice of six yubu and a drink. It's a lot of food and could be shared, or if you're really hungry you could take them all down- they're delicious enough that you'll want to. Individual Yubu are about $5-$6 per piece and have a sweet tofu packet loaded with rice and then the topping of your choice. All the toppings are delicious and they offer a variety of options including fresh fish, bulgogi, corn and cheese, pork, and crab. They also have a variety of sides like mini udon, kimchi fried rice, sodduk sodduk, mandu, potato croquettes, mini honey pancakes and more. Some of my favorites are the bbq albacore, garlic butter crab, lemon pepper salmon, myungran crab, spicy tuna, and seared tuna. I love trying new options whenever they have them though. I've only ever ordered pick up, but I appreciate that delivery is available too. This is one of my favorite spots for a treat meal when I'm craving fresh fish. Once you walk in, there are two different sections. The left side is a sit-down café and the right side is more of a cafeteria-style area with pastries, drinks, and some of the viral items I've seen online. We ate on the café side, so my review is based on that experience. I was SO excited for my kids to try the pancake artist palettes. They serve mini pancakes on a paint palette tray, with colorful flavored syrups in the paint wells and a little paintbrush so kids can "paint" their pancakes before eating them. It looked adorable and like such a fun experience. Unfortunately, both of my kids absolutely hated them. They each took a bite and refused to eat any more, which is unusual because they both love pancakes. I tried the different syrup flavors myself, and while they're technically edible, I honestly thought they tasted pretty bad. The concept is cute, but the actual taste was not good in our opinion, and it ended up being a waste of money for us. The service also wasn't great. The girl at the register had a very "meh" attitude and didn't seem particularly friendly or welcoming and no one welcome you when you are there either . For my autistic son I ordered a plain burger because he won't eat it if it has sauce on it. When it came out, it wasn't plain. I let them know, and instead of having them remake it, I asked if they could just give me an extra bun since he could still eat the burger itself. They did bring extra buns, which I appreciated. I also ordered a mango chia bowl, and it took 40 minutes to come out. Forty minutes for a chia bowl is kind of crazy. I had actually gotten up and was waiting in line to ask for a refund when I noticed the girl at the register say something to the waitress, and suddenly my chia bowl appeared. It honestly felt like it had been forgotten about until I went up to the counter. As for my food, I ordered a croissant sandwich. It was okay,nothing special, but not terrible either. In total, I spent about $67. My younger kids didn't eat their food, my oldest son's order was wrong, my croissant was average, and I waited 40 minutes for a chia bowl. I drove quite a distance because I saw this place trending online, and unfortunately it did not live up to the hype for me. Maybe it's a better spot for adults, or maybe I just caught them on an off day. Either way, this was a one-and-done visit for my family, and I won't be returning.
