8/9/2024- It's a treat when my oldest has tried most places that are new,. Makes decision making easier for me...lol.. Heading back from picking up some Asian groceries, and this was perfect spot. Like the concept of different food options.. Busy place and parking is tight, but we managed to secure a spot.

This place is right outside of Sac State and the food on campus is kind of atrocious: Chando's, Panda Express, outdated mediocre chains like TOGO's & Baja Fresh, and multiple Starbucks... it's quite sad. But this place is quite a gem to be able to have multiple restaurants operate in one kitchen. It's kind of obscure and easy to miss and you have to park in the street because the lots are for delivery drivers only. A star is being taken away because all ordering is done online. I'm not very tech savvy and I like to pay for food by walking up and just paying cash... but you can't do that here ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Along with the lack of a push/email/ or text notification about when the food is ready to be picked up and standing in the hot sun was sort of bad for a pale person like me... For the food I ordered a Nash + Proper (med+) Chicken Sandwich & an Okie Dokies cheeseburger and both were delicious! I will be back to try out the other restaurants for Japanese food, sushi, or a Cubano sandwich. It's a pretty neat concept and I hope there are more locations like this but with better parking & an option to walk up to order with cash payment lol :P

Never knew this place existed until I tried to order for Kru To Go. This storefront is a commercial kitchen for a bunch of great restaurants in Sacramento - think Local Kitchens in the bay area. You can order online and so far from Kru, I feel like the quality is on par to the actual restaurants. I think this is a great solution for people who want different food from different restaurants but only want to pick up from one location! So far, the restaurants participating are: + KRU + Kizuna + Hao Bao Dumplings + Keka Vegan + Gondo Fusion + Nash & Proper + Cicero's Pizzeria + Oasis + The Hive + We Be Brunching + La Patrona + Okie Dokies There's a tiny 2-3 space parking lot with alot of street parking. There are two windows, a delivery window and pick up window. The staff was super helpful because I looked so lost. Food is prepared pretty fast! Highly recommend! The hours say 8am-10pm BUT the hours per individual kitchen is based on the restaurant you're picking!

I've heard about The Line Kitchens before but haven't ordered until today! They're located right off Elvas and there is street parking or a parking lot so you can get your food quickly and go. The pickup window is super easy when you've placed your order online ahead of time! I was planning to order Okie Dokies but sushi sounded good on a hot day so we ordered the Lovin the Kru bento box to share with my husband. We thought it would be the most food since it was the most expensive of the omakase boxes but it was still more like a one-person meal. It was $47 on the menu but after taxes and an additional 'service fee' it came down to $52. I am definitely more satisfied if I get a chirashi bowl for $30-40 elsewhere! But Kru doesn't disappoint on quality at least. My favorites from the box were probably the lomi nigiri, and toro tartare donburi. They give a generous portion of kizami too, which was super strong in the best way. Again, everything was super good hence the 4 stars, but just probably wouldn't pay that steep for the quantity again..but still I'm glad I tried it!

Fast and easy! Would go again and bring friends. Small parking lot with outside seating.

The Ghost Kitchen has a lot of great options, and while it's take out only, there are picnic benches all around if you're looking to eat right away. There are a few parking spots by the ghost kitchen but you're better off parking on the street since there's a flow of delivery drivers coming in and out for delivery orders. I recommend calling ahead to order (cash or venmo) or ordering online (for pickup or delivery). The last time I ordered I called in and I always get their 6 piece combo that comes with your choice of six yubu and a drink. It's a lot of food and could be shared, or if you're really hungry you could take them all down- they're delicious enough that you'll want to. Individual Yubu are about $5-$6 per piece and have a sweet tofu packet loaded with rice and then the topping of your choice. All the toppings are delicious and they offer a variety of options including fresh fish, bulgogi, corn and cheese, pork, and crab. They also have a variety of sides like mini udon, kimchi fried rice, sodduk sodduk, mandu, potato croquettes, mini honey pancakes and more. Some of my favorites are the bbq albacore, garlic butter crab, lemon pepper salmon, myungran crab, spicy tuna, and seared tuna. I love trying new options whenever they have them though. I've only ever ordered pick up, but I appreciate that delivery is available too. This is one of my favorite spots for a treat meal when I'm craving fresh fish. For me, these are more filling than sushi and I love the sweet and savory combination of flavors that yubu offers.

I'm sure the service onsite will be welcoming. I had their mandu, which was fresh. Crisp to the bite and flavorful. Not oily either which is a great plus. I had their bulgogi and spicy pork, I believe, and both were delicious. Each was flavorful and had the perfect balance between protein and rice. The fact that I don't need to add hot sauce speaks volumes to a perfectly seasoned item. I would highly recommend this place for a quick bite. Wouldn't say a meal, but def more of a snack spot to satisfy the Korean cravings.

TL;DR - 1 star 1 out of 5 Stars…read more I am... Err WAS... a brand-new customer. My relationship with Trifecta Nutrition lasted a glorious total of "less than a week or so" before crashing and burning. I literally signed up for their service, received my very first order, and didn't realize the cutoff time for the following week had already passed. Because of an unexpected conflict, I am going to be out of the state for over a week. I immediately contacted customer service on a Sunday to catch it early and put a hold on the order. Keep in mind, the food wasn't even scheduled to be delivered until the end of the follolwing week. Plenty of time to hit pause or find SOME sort of solution for a newbie, right? And even if it wasn't, at least find some sort of workable solution for a NEW customer. Wrong. Instead of any actual assistance, I got a flat NOPE from customer service. The genius, highly accommodating solution from the super-intelligent "Mackenzie T." - - - - Since I'll be away, I should just have a friend or family member drive miles to my home and go take my (questionable) "food." WOW--brilliant! Why didn't I think of leaving $150+ worth of perishable meals--if you can even call them that--on a porch for over a week to see who wants it? In fact, nothing says "please break into this house" quite like leaving a massive, branded box sitting outside for 7+ days while I'm out of the state. So now, here I am, STILL actively trying to bribe friends, family, coworkers, anyone with cold hard cash to convince them to drive over, take this box of sadness, and dump the contents straight into the compost bin. And let's be real--with California gas prices currently hovering somewhere near a mortgage payment, it's costing me a fortune just to dispose of this biohazard. Because let's face it, nobody actually wants to eat it. I've used numerous other meal delivery services over the years (e.g., Factor, Cook Unity, Tovala, Blue Apron, HelloFresh, Home Chef, to list a couple), and I can safely say I've had scheduling issues with a handful of them. Even if it was my mistake or not, those companies almost ALWAYS find a way to work with you on unexpected conflicts--and that's for established accounts. Showing zero flexibility for someone who hasn't even been in your system for a full month is truly peak customer care!!!!!! Groundbreaking, really. The icing on the cake? The first order I did receive--and suffer through trying to consume--didn't soften the blow. If you enjoy a remarkably bland, uniform taste where it genuinely feels like they use the exact same single spice profile for literally everything, you're in luck. Save your money and the headache. Go try of the other services I listed above, unless you really want to pay premium prices to feed your neighbors identical-tasting chicken while you're across the country. Oh, but wait, there's more... After I pointed out that other companies are actually flexible and that I'd *hope* for at least some effort to accommodate a brand-new customer and to just go ahead and cancel my entire account..... The masterclass in customer retention response? "OK, canceled, and if you ever want to restart, reply back." Do you REALLY think I'd voluntarily sign up to put up with double the crap from Trifecta (crap food and crap service)? NOPE. I'd rather share my story on Yelp and hopefully spare some other poor, hungry soul from having to go through this experience. So... in summary - TL;DR - 1 star, obviously.
