A friend recommended this spot to me after she tried it and really liked it. I love inari so I was absolutely down. This place doesn't have a store front. You order online and walk into this alley to get your food. It looks like they probably rent a kitchen space because there were other people picking up orders for different restaurants. Our order was taking a little bit long but the lady apologized to us and gave us some taro milk for the wait. Definitely not expected but I think that's great customer service. My favorites were the bbq albacore and garlic salmon. Great flavor and the sauce was delicious. My friend liked the bulgogi more than the bulgolgi fried rice. I'd definitely come here again if I ever want a snack.

This is an interesting place. Let me preface that you order food and you pick it up in this place that has a bunch of lockers. You punch your code in and the locker opens with your food in a bag. Seems to be a location with multiple kitchens. I ordered through my phone and received a code. Not sure if you could even order in person. Anyways, this place serves sushi specializing in using inari. We got salmon, crab, bulgogi, butter garlic crab, spicy tuna, and i think albacore. They all tasted surprisingly good and fresh! My favorite was the salmon and bulgogi, but the other ones were also good, I just wouldn't get it again. The food was good to try but I wouldn't come back because of the experience of having to drive to a location and picking food from a locker with human to help. Especially if you aren't sure what to do when you get there.

First time getting takeout from here, I think 3 is the perfect amount for a lunch. They do have 4 piece combo that comes with a drink but I think it would be too filling. Pick up is pretty fast and easy, there estimate time is accurate. Fresh salmon - just okay Crab - really balanced with the inari and rice Garlic salmon - my favorite! The torched top is the best part. The inari was definitely overly soaked. The flavor was good but it became very flimsy if you try and pick it up, so after one bite it'll probably fall apart completely.

I'm always in the area but never knew this place actually served food! This was my first time, so I didn't know what to expect. I thought it was just a typical takeout spot like Yum Yum, etc. If you decide to try it out, I recommend ordering your food online first, it makes it so easy to just pick up. When you get there, you scan a QR code, and if your food is ready, they'll tell you which locker box it's in. They even send you a link to open the locker, super cool! There are other restaurants there too. Overall, the food was good. I ordered the combo: * BBQ Albacore * Lemon Pepper Salmon * Mung-ryan Crab * Bulgogi * Melon Creamy Soda

Still delicious and now at their new location in Midtown Eats ghost kitchen collective. If you order using their square site website, the prices are better vs the door dash checkout portal. Nice owner came out and brought the bag to me.

Yubu Yum is located within the Sactown Eats shared kitchen space and is available for pickup or DoorDash/Uber Eats/Grub Hub. There is NO seating here, so plan to eat this elsewhere! Also, if you're picking up by yourself, I'd recommend coming in the day time because it may be scary to turn in to the area by yourself at night. I looooved these! Fish was fresh and loved the different flavors of each Yubu. If you don't like fish, they also have meats like bulgogi, spicy pork, or spam. Only downside is if you eat them with your hands, you will be sauced downnn We ordered: *6 Yubu Combo ($30.95) - Fresh Salmon - Garlic Butter Crab - BBQ Albacore - Spicy Tuna - Tuna Mayo - Lemon Pepper Salmon - Melon Cream Soda *Bulgogi Fries ($10.95) *Mini Udon ($5.95) I loved all the yubus so much, I'd probably say my least favorite was the tuna mayo, purely bc I feel like I can make that at home haha. The bulgogi fries were the skinny crispy fries, so they were great too. And the mini udon was a perfect way to warm up and end the meal!

Easy screen menu and ordering and you get a text when it's ready. The food was hot and fresh. There is nowhere to really wait so we wait in the car. The area is a little sketchy but you're not there long. I had the cheese and corn, garlic butter crab, and salmon yubus. All were delicious but the garlic butter crab was my favorite.

Fresh toppings, I enjoyed the spicy tuna, spicy pork, and crab. Service was fast and friendly. This is a to-go only spot so there is no indoor or outdoor seating.

First time coming here. Watched a movie and decided to swing by. Ordered online and the food was ready in 30min. We were confused when we first arrived. If you've never been here before. It's take out only. They share with maybe 6-8 other restaurants. Tiny parking lot. You'll want to order online and give them 20-30min. They have a QR code outside if you hadn't order yet. When it's ready, find the doorbell to the restaurant and they'll bring your food out. We ordered a combo (six pieces and a drink). I Two different salmons, albacore, kimchi fried rice, bulgogi and seared tuna. All of them were very flavorful and delicious. Our favorite was the lemon salmon. Will def be back.

I was introduced to Yubu Yum during their pop-up at Teaspoon in Loehmann's Plaza, and I received the complete customer service experience! Yubu Yum operates as a ghost kitchen, so it was a pleasure to meet them in person. The best part is knowing that everything is made to order! My partner and I shared a 3-pack ($16), and we could select any variation from their menu. Spicy Tuna peaked our interests, and he also ordered the lemon pepper salmon. This was our first time trying yubu, and it exceeded my expectations! Everything was neatly packed, and we received Sanrio themed plastic gloves for a contactless dining experience. For someone that doesn't care for tofu, the fried tofu skin created the perfect pocket and added a nice touch of sweetness. Both the tuna and salmon tasted fresh and the ratio of fish to rice was just right. Prices seem steep for an appetizer, but I'm glad I tried them out.

It's a little confusing to find the door leading into the area. It's like a food hall where you just interact with workers to pick up. You can order on their two tablets but I'd recommend ordering ahead of time because of the area. It took about 15 minutes for my order. You'd scan your barcode at the front window and pick up from a locker door that will automatically open. It'll be in a to-go container with gloves, lollipop and napkins. :) Favorites from most liked to least: bulgolgi, bbq albacore, cheese corn, spicy tuna Bulgolgi - the meat was tender and juicy and flavorful. I'd get this one every time for sure! I was really surprised because I was thinking it would be dry, but it ended up being one of my favorites. BBQ Albacore - the texture I didn't 100% love since it was ground up tbh but the flavor was good! Cheese Corn - not too sweet (the ultimate Asian compliment) compared to others I've tried Spicy Tuna - I loved that they used tuna chunks instead of the ground up frozen spicy tuna you usually see. I think there was just too much rice and not enough tuna because when I tried the fish alone, I really liked it. It tasted bland in the yubu to me. If they balanced out the portions, I'd place spicy tuna as #2.

In a nutshell; no dine in just take out and it's located in the more rougher areas of town but great food honestly. Was a bit taken a back by where it's located but no bad deed or suspicious things have occurred during any of my visits. It's kind of like local kitchens style or multiple kitchens in a building so you get a variety of menus once you're checking out the kiosk machine. It was simple, the wait didn't take too long and the food was really good. I am interested on the other menus or food provided so may come around at some point but nothing I'd be scurrying for. Overall good food, a bit pricey but nothing breaking the bank, and worth the trip to the area.

SO flavorful! Everything is cooked wonderfully and made to perfection with a great attention to detail. I love these and i definitely recommend trying all that you can, every one had a special place in my heart. I enjoyed the lemon pepper and corn, but honestly they're all amazing! I can't wait to come back soon! Even the packaging is cute with gloves, napkins, stickers, and lollipop treat. I suggest following them on Instagram to find out about their new products and future popups locations. I look forward to coming back.

    They do have both

Is there a parking lot or street parking only?

It's a gravel parking lot outside the building. Lots of spaces. Building is near Loaves & Fishes, so some people of less fortunate circumstances and charity workers are walking about.

Being so close to the university, I would expect more students to be here, but each time I've come (2), the crowd skews 30-40s. Lots of families and small children too. I love the concept of a food hall where everyone can get what they want. And with the convenience of table side ordering, there are no lines and people can really enjoy hanging out and chatting while the food is cooked and arrives. I will say my one complaint is that everything is served to go with very little reusable dishware, which creates lots of paper waste. All dishes come with the right accoutrements too - ketchup for fries, onion and cilantro for the Birria ramen. Offerings: - Birria Ramen: super good flavor and good quality meat. I would have liked it to be served in a different container, perhaps there is a bowl option I missed. 4/5 - Okie Dokies Burger: Calling all onion lovers to this place! It did also have great overall flavor and was cooked well. 5/5 - Okie Dokies Fries: Crinkle cut fries, these were just fine. A little seasoning would have made these better. 3/5 - Hawaiian Calzone: Surprisingly good! I really enjoyed the mix of flavors and the calzone wasn't as bready as most come. 4/5. - Kru hand rolls and sushi: It's Kru, it's good. The quality, flavors, everything. 5/5.

TL;DR - 1 star 1 out of 5 Stars…read more I am... Err WAS... a brand-new customer. My relationship with Trifecta Nutrition lasted a glorious total of "less than a week or so" before crashing and burning. I literally signed up for their service, received my very first order, and didn't realize the cutoff time for the following week had already passed. Because of an unexpected conflict, I am going to be out of the state for over a week. I immediately contacted customer service on a Sunday to catch it early and put a hold on the order. Keep in mind, the food wasn't even scheduled to be delivered until the end of the follolwing week. Plenty of time to hit pause or find SOME sort of solution for a newbie, right? And even if it wasn't, at least find some sort of workable solution for a NEW customer. Wrong. Instead of any actual assistance, I got a flat NOPE from customer service. The genius, highly accommodating solution from the super-intelligent "Mackenzie T." - - - - Since I'll be away, I should just have a friend or family member drive miles to my home and go take my (questionable) "food." WOW--brilliant! Why didn't I think of leaving $150+ worth of perishable meals--if you can even call them that--on a porch for over a week to see who wants it? In fact, nothing says "please break into this house" quite like leaving a massive, branded box sitting outside for 7+ days while I'm out of the state. So now, here I am, STILL actively trying to bribe friends, family, coworkers, anyone with cold hard cash to convince them to drive over, take this box of sadness, and dump the contents straight into the compost bin. And let's be real--with California gas prices currently hovering somewhere near a mortgage payment, it's costing me a fortune just to dispose of this biohazard. Because let's face it, nobody actually wants to eat it. I've used numerous other meal delivery services over the years (e.g., Factor, Cook Unity, Tovala, Blue Apron, HelloFresh, Home Chef, to list a couple), and I can safely say I've had scheduling issues with a handful of them. Even if it was my mistake or not, those companies almost ALWAYS find a way to work with you on unexpected conflicts--and that's for established accounts. Showing zero flexibility for someone who hasn't even been in your system for a full month is truly peak customer care!!!!!! Groundbreaking, really. The icing on the cake? The first order I did receive--and suffer through trying to consume--didn't soften the blow. If you enjoy a remarkably bland, uniform taste where it genuinely feels like they use the exact same single spice profile for literally everything, you're in luck. Save your money and the headache. Go try of the other services I listed above, unless you really want to pay premium prices to feed your neighbors identical-tasting chicken while you're across the country. Oh, but wait, there's more... After I pointed out that other companies are actually flexible and that I'd *hope* for at least some effort to accommodate a brand-new customer and to just go ahead and cancel my entire account..... The masterclass in customer retention response? "OK, canceled, and if you ever want to restart, reply back." Do you REALLY think I'd voluntarily sign up to put up with double the crap from Trifecta (crap food and crap service)? NOPE. I'd rather share my story on Yelp and hopefully spare some other poor, hungry soul from having to go through this experience. So... in summary - TL;DR - 1 star, obviously.
