I ordered my food through their website at 5:34. I ordered 2 basic sandwiches and was given no approximate pickup time. I arrived at 6:00 and they told me "that's gonna be a while" (regarding my order). Keep in mind there are 2 other people inside other than me... I didn't end of receiving my food until 6:18!!!. That's 45 minutes for 2 sandwiches on Wednesday! They had poor attitudes and no acknowledgement of my long wait time. Won't be returning any time soon. read more

Glad there's a location that's close to where I spend most of my week at haha. It's located in a busy plaza, but parking has been pretty easy. I usually order through the app since I'm always on the go. So I can't say much about the place. I know the workers are friendly every time I come. The sandwiches I order are consistently good. They have little cups near the hot sauces that you can fill up to take to go. read more

Worst Firehouse Subs location ever been to out of the 1.215 locations. First the hours are wrong - they close at 8 instead of 9. Went in to get my order at 7:40 and was told I could not eat inside the interior seating closes at 7:30 PM. Had to sit outside and finish my sandwich by 7:50 but they had already locked the doors by 7:48 PM. Could not hear the person behind the counter because the restaurant plays very loud Hispanic music so had to keep yelling. Find another restaurant plenty in the area if you want to eat inside at 7:30 on the weekend!! read more

January 2025, paid $15 for a "medium" sub and barely even got a 6 inch sandwich for the price of $15. C'mon people it doesn't matter how good the sandwich is, that is ridiculous for a turkey sandwich with a slice of cheese and one tomato. The sandwich wasn't bad but again to pay $15 and not even get a 6 inch sandwich. This was small it did not even fill me up. Similar to a previous reviewer, I arrived a few minutes after 8 p.m. to pick up an online order placed just minutes before. Hours online advertise they're open until 9, but upon arriving lights were off and doors locked. After seeing someone walking back and forth inside, I decided to walk up anyway. There was a male worker inside who saw me, and decided it would be best to awkwardly turn around and walk away, even after we made eye contact and I gestured at their hours, than to provide any sort of explanation or human interaction. This was an Uber Eats order, so I'm unsure if the customer will be refunded, but since one review from 2 weeks ago had this experience with NO refund, and another from 3 weeks ago with the same experience (again, closed early and provided NO refund) on Google, I would avoid this place. Not good firehouse . I ordered a small veggie with no onions and asked if I would like it cold and said yes. I was thinking it would have raw green peppers and mushrooms but they put ice cold cooked green peppers and mushrooms that did not taste good . What was the thought process here - not only that the size was child size with very little ingredients. The price was 10.00 and so not worth it - I will go elsewhere. read more

I ordered a sandwich with pastrami and corned beef- First it had very little meat.. it was mostly bread. Second either they didn't cut the meat on the right grain.. or it was under cooked .. it was so tough! And fatty too Later I had a bad stomach. I will never return. I arrive there at 6:45 for the first time in a long time to try their sandwiches again. i was going to eat there. the person behind the counter says sorry we are only doing togo orders? i said don't you close at 9 or maybe i got that wrong. she said yes but informed me one of their coworkers just emptied the lobby garbage cans for the night and everything was basically cleaned. reading other reviews they close at 8 but still coming in before 7 is not late. i went next door to sourdough and co. and had a great sandwich, made by the owner, grateful for people coming into his business. i wasn't going to write a review but its just bad business. read more

Don't eat here. Initially I was told that a restroom was closed when it absolutely wasn't. After I used the restroom I went to order and the guy huffed and puffed before taking my order. I should have left when he seemed annoyed but I wanted to order because 1 I had already used the businesses restroom and 2 I was hungry. My sandwich was scrawny. New location, easy parking, really tasty sandwich selections at a super premium price. The medium size sandwich is in the $12-$13 range, it is a decent size sandwich but at that price there should be more meat. The Large sandwiches are huge but they are like $16. Of course mix in the drinks and the price skyrockets. The food quality is solid and the staff is always really nice and helpful. Huge Shout Out to Excellent customer service ESPECIALLY recognizing Tevin, Savvy & Sam. We came in for a HOT sub (my hubby Gils fav Brisket w cheddar & BBQ sauce) at six minutes to closing. They had slready cleaned the sandwich line since no customers for a while and yet no grief given to make the sub and go the extra mile to hest the meat, toast the bun & do a special cut (quartered instead of halved). This service here was so amazing, I've never been to any place where I actually enjoyed the interaction like this! He had a great personality and was very interested in talking about the menu even though I told him it was okay because it was my first time! He broke down everything and showed us the little spinny menu to make any other changes to what we order! This guys is a valuable asset to this store and he deserves the recognition for the outstanding customer service he has given everyone! I took my wife to Firehouse subs for lunch. I had received an email saying the had a meal special. When we arrived the clerk said the meal special had to be ordered online. So, after 13 minutes of trying to use their stupid APP I gave up walked over to Sourdough Subs instead. I ordered our food and went back home! First of all their APP is one of the worst I have ever used. The clerk wasn't any help either. I don't understand why you need to use some stupid APP just to get your food. Specially when you're already inside and there is no one at the counter. I use it when I'm in a hurry and I see a big line of customers waiting. This is why many business are closing down. Frustrated customers take their business elsewhere. Anyway, do go to this place if you get an email advertising a sandwich meal. They will not honor it! It was my first and only trip to this place. No wonder every time I drive by it's empty. read more

Okay so first time here I got a large pastrami on wheat with jalapeno and pepperchini..It was good but wasn't great I give it like 7 star la out of 10.My wife got the double turkey hers was an 8.5 good plenty of meat for sure..The big question was it worth 29.00 for two sandwiches that were just above average.? In my opinion no since there are so many sandwich places to choose from..The service was great both of the guys working seemed known with the products unfortunately the food just wasn't the best..The overall vibe of the store was good. Came here for lunch and it wasn't super busy there were 2 people in front of me, waited about 15 min for 2 subs and got them togo. I got the club with white bread and the Philly cheesesteak. My club was missing the bacon and it was all warm and melted with warm lettuce. I wish thy told you that their club is warm because all I wanted was a delicious cold sub as you would normally get in a club, the sandwich was also missing bacon and the ham had grill Marks on it as it was cooked, just overall not a good sandwich. Since it was warmed up the bottom part of the bread was super soggy and wet and inedible. The Philly was a tad bit better but missing a lot of flavor. For a sub shop they should offer more bread variety they only have white wheat and gluten free. I don't know if it's worth it coming back. read more

One of the worst sandwiches I've had in a long time. Ordered a medium Turkey bacon ranch and a medium engineer. Asked for light sauce on both sandwiches. Each were around $13. Both had literally a smear or sauce and hardly any meat. With so many options these days and trying to choose where to spend my hard earned dollars, this was beyond disappointing. So sad in fact I didn't even bother to take pics... Also realized we never got either pickle spear they offered us. Shame on you Firehouse. read more

I had tried firehouse years ago and I wasn't the biggest fan but a friend had urged me to try it again sometime cause it's really good! I gotta say they won me over this time. I went with the turkey & bacon ranch (I recommend no lettuce add caramelized onions and jalapeños plus extra bacon). My bread could've been a pinch more toasted it was still a very good and solid sandwich. Definitely gonna return! read more

So this place says it's temporarily closed on google, but it's definitely open! If you have never been here, please try the Turkey Bacon Ranch Sandwich, it started my addiction to FireHouseSubs!! I love that you can customize your sandwiches, for example removing or adding ingredients! Such a cool vibe too, it's all fire house themed, with firefighter outfits, axes, etc.. I had a great experience today. I came in at lunch time and was immediately greeted by Tevin, the manager. He was quick and friendly when taking my order, and when he saw I worked at a nearby business he offered their catering services should we ever need them. My food was carefully prepared and was easy to pick up my sub to eat it without toppings falling all over which happens often. The restaurant itself was clean, sports were on the tv, and I could tell he took pride in the presentation of his store. It's great to see a young man take pride in providing hospitality to all their customers. I'll be back for sure next time I'm in town. read more

The Sammies are great. Only the newbies construct the sandwich wrong but for most of the time talk about perfection. I never really understood the art of sandwich until firehouse subs. Growing up in a family that is both entrepreneurial and built on more than 200 years of firefighting heritage, it seems we were destined to start Firehouse Subs. Of course we tried other things along the way to our American dream, but everything we experienced on our path led us to Firehouse Subs. Over 20 years after opening the first restaurant, with over 1,100 Firehouse Subs restaurants, we're convinced we're doing a few things right. Turns out, people absolutely love the same things we do - the best meats, cheeses, and toppings we can find. As I was looking up the best sandwich shop in Fair Oaks.. this one kept coming up on different…read moresearches.. we walked up on a beautiful Thursday at 12 noon, lots of happy folks sitting outside and a few inside at the infamous Fair Oaks deli. - the vibe reminded me something out of an amazing mom's kitchen meats, a classic deli in good ole' New York City. Has that feeling.. ya know?!? Service was fast and friendly, everything was super fresh, made to order and solid portions. I got the village veggie, with no cream cheese, but thinking back.. that would probably even make the sandwich more epic, it hit all the right spots. It was flavorful and delivered very well. - my buddy got some kind of chicken sandwich that he said was amazing as well. I also got a coffee and that was tasty, they use Java City, nothing special in my eyes, but I get it. It's a longtime staple. - I didn't even get to touch the desserts this time!!, that will be my mission next visit, along with trying something else... from roaming local roosters to just a really beautiful hangout, definitely this place is worth checking out. They're open 7 AM to 6 PM so I'd say you have really no excuse other than to go get that bomb deli sandwich!

As someone who is bipolar and been homeless before, I always pass along my leftovers to one of the homeless that hangs out in the park. I came up to him today with a cup of tea, and he asked if I could get him a cup of coffee. I said sure, it's 2 dollars that I can spend on someone in a similar situation that I have been in myself before. I came out with a cup of coffee for him, he was standing by the bar down the street. He requested milk and sugar. I didn't want to touch the cup he was holding so I said okay. The girl at the register was happy to give me an extra cup for milk and sugar. I filled it and was cornered when I was exiting. She was fuming, flustered saying that refills aren't free. How dare I take free refills from the shop before. I apologetically expressed I can pay for a second cup of coffee. She didn't back down. She verbally berated me in front of EVERYONE and it was an awful experience. I've been homeless myself but I've never looked it. This is unacceptable behavior and very ableist. I will still come by, but I wanted to warn others that this place is very discriminatory against the disabled homeless population and I do not want to be a part of this kind of energy.

I ordered a surfin' bird wish is turkey, avocado, cream cheese, bacon, and all the veggies. We shared a regular sandwich which was enough for both of us to walk away full. I showed up early to pick up my sandwich. I was greeted when walking in the door to a cute beach scene and friendly employees. As soon as I told them I was there to pick up they handed me my sandwich. The sandwich was great. Worth ordering a second time. Definitely would recommend.

I love coming here they always have the freshest meats, cheeses and produce. The staff there are super friendly. They really know how to pack a sandwich as well so you get your moneys worth. They have lots of bread, options and drink and chips options even dessert sometimes too. The atmosphere is so friendly and nice there and I love smelling all the cheeses and breads when you walk through the door. Had to be two day old bread I come to a deli to get a fresh sandwich. Not old bread. Bread to me is the sandwich. I don't think I will be back.
