Steve at Mr. Handyman reached out right away and asked me to call him to discuss the details. I called Steve to explain a job I needed done involving an access door from my garage. He explained what he thought would be the best approach and that one of his employees would give me a better idea when he arrived for the quote. Steve explained the pricing, hourly rate, etc. and that his employee would give me a final quote before starting any work. Derek arrived on time for the appointment (I also got a text when he was on his way which was a nice touch). We went through all the details together, he explained what he would do and the estimated cost. I agreed and he got to work. He did an excellent job and the door looks great. I asked about a second project involving our swing set which he thankfully had time to include. Again, he went over all the details and estimates before proceeding. The work quality was again absolutely excellent. Derek cleaned up his work area completely. The final price came in exactly where expected, which I will also say I think is a fair price for the length of time he was here and the quality of the work performed. He asked me about any other needs I had and gave me some documentation regarding the most common jobs his company handles in case I need anything in the future. I can't think of anything about the process that could have been improved here. I would definitely give them a call again if I need anything!

I was feely mighty ambitious and thrifty when I called Krystal Glass to ask for a consultation regarding a big mirror project at my new dance studio. Jimmy made time to meet me at one location and to accompany me to two more nearby locations on the same visit. Together, we checked out several used 6 x 8 mirrors at a nearby gym, looked at a few other mirrors I had in storage, and did a recon trip of the mirrors' final destination. Along the way, Jimmy provided the information that I needed about the correct tools for moving and installing the mirrors myself with a friend. (I should have brought two friends and insisted upon paying them). He also consulted with me, my contractor friend and the building GC about the best way to build secure and attractive frames for the mirrors. After we completed the framing and moved a couple of the mirrors on our own, I wound up asking Jimmy to help procure, move and install the rest of the mirrors onto the frames. Jimmy and his team handled my many requests promptly, with kindness, patience and professionalism. I will be back with any and all of my glass needs and I will also be providing referrals. I made a special trip to the Flying Locksmith in Westborough Mass to have a key cut. Their address is noted as 57 E. Main St in Westborough. I have seen their locksmith van parked in the plaza numerous times after hours. However, they do not even have a business store in the plaza. Their business is not even listed on the plaza entrance signpost. All this driving around for a advertised locksmith with no active address. Their name fits them very well. They do not need to submit a flight plan for my business.

He communicated with us throughout the project of installing a new Timberteck deck. His crew worked straight on through from start to finish without empty lapses of time. The men are so highly skilled. We continue to be happy with our beautiful deck. Therefore, we asked Ruy to install a Timberteck stair rail at our front doors, which also has withstood the test of time. We'd been concerned that installments like this would compromise the brick, whereby requiring a total rebuild, but a rebuild wasn't necessary. He also advise us on an easy and effective fix to divert water from flowing from the gutter and freezing to ice on those brick steps in winter. Based on the outcome of these projects, and our experience in their progression, we highly recommend this company.

Brutal experience with them back in 2022-2024. Would take weeks and, more than once, even months…read moreto get them to come back and do any work (see screenshots of my text interactions with them -- note the dates). They were supposed to build a new rubber roof. It started leaking on 3 separate occasions (which btw was never fully fixed -- we moved on to different contractors who did address the issues). And like I said, it would take months for them to actually come back and attempt to fix anything. Often they'd come by, look at the damage, then I wouldn't hear from them for multiple weeks. Meanwhile, more damage continues to accrue to the walls and ceilings. The internal fixes they applied for the water damage were just patch jobs. They just plastered and painted over. Meanwhile, the insulation behind the wall was soaked and accrued black mold that we had to address later. Also worth pointing out a major blunder at the beginning of the project (see attached videos and pics). They opened up the roof, and left it open for multiple days without doing any work. Well of course a major rainstorm came by (which was on the weather forecast well in advance). Alll that water poured into the house in the middle of the night setting off fire alarms. It was a nightmare to deal with on my end.
