There is a small parking lot, spaces are reserved by suite #, this is Suite E and there are several spots right by the entrance. The door may be locked during open hours, however do knock, the owner will open it and welcome you in. The brands offered are Glams and Caraya, made by the same manufacturer that also builds instruments for the big brand names, and this store is a wholesaler (hence the great prices). I was not familiar with these brands before coming here, but after spending a while playing these instruments they are much higher quality than what I started out with when I was first playing, and they are beautiful when it comes to the appearance, real mother of pearl inlays, beautiful stains, it really is a lot of value for the price. Tanyan also offers great accessories including leather straps, strings, jewelry, and ornaments, so if you are looking for a gift for a musician this is a great place to shop! I thought I'd tried a musical instrument store as well. The owner Jen called me back, and even though she doesn't have sound healing instruments, she gave me recommendations of places to contact. She also is checking with someone that might have one of the specific instruments I'm looking for second hand. We shall see. Not everyone takes the time and effort to help others, and just kind of says no they don't have it, and moves on with their day. She is my kind of people. They have helped me in the past with amp repair and their repairs held up through a lot of my abuse. Great shop! I see some folks have problems with the owner, but I think they don't understand he does not suffer fools lightly and he isn't trying to negotiate deals - so if you walk in rudely trying to debate prices, he isn't going to respond well. I've never seen him be rude to someone that didn't deserve it. He knows his stuff, and he prices it for what he wants to sell it for.
