I've been with Mrs Nanny Paw for over 18 years and she and her staff have always exceeded my expectations with my schedule. She has always taken great care of my babies and they consider Marilyn and her staff part of their pack. All of my boxers love her and her staff, they get excited seeing them as they go for a walk and eat. Marilyn and her staff are in my opinion the best for my babies from being puppies thru their senior lives, I wouldn't trust anyone else with my precious babies. I didn't read the reviews before booking with them and now that I do I can confirm the negative experiences people have had with Marilyn and how she runs this. Not a nice, organized, or caring person in our interactions. I had a simple question as a new customer who was receiving conflicting information and a confusingly worded bill, and she was a massive B about it. Wild to me that a business owner could take a simple conversation with a customer from clarification to never-booking again and then literally not care at all. When staff attempt to report anything to Marilyn, she ignores her staff, blows them off or ignores them. This company doesn't have anything listed under there Contact Us. I have been using Mrs. Nanny Paws (Marilyn and her crew) since I moved to the area in Jan 2011. I use MNP for both pet sitting and dog walking services as my job takes me out of town frequently. Not only has MNP been reliable for my regular schedule but they have also been extremely flexible when I have to travel or change my schedule on the fly. Recently I got stuck out of town during a snow storm and Heather stayed overnight to make sure she had not trouble getting to my pets. For this service that went above and beyond there was no additional charge ... Unbelievable. For these reasons I will continue to use MNP as long as Marilyn and her team are in charge. Mrs Nanny Paws has been taking care of our dog and cat for over a year. They are completely reliable and do an amazing job with our pets who love Cathy, our regular sitter. (Other sitters do a great job also when she isn't avail.) We use their overnight services when we go away, since our pets like a human to snuggle with :) Last time late at night, our water heater started leaking, Cathy and owner Marilyn went WAY above and beyond to ensure the leak was stopped until we could get a repair, and to ensure the house was safe! Marilyn actually stopped by herself and helped get water up. We love their online booking, and new system with email updates about visits. My pets, and house, are as safe with Marilyn and her sitters as they are with us, and that's no small statement!! Look no further! read more

Very unpleasant experience. Was threatened privately by owner's husband to cease & desist when I commented and defended my negative experience with the company on FB. I was not rude or slanderous so his threat was a joke. I reached out on FB because they were not returning our calls for a missed, scheduled pre-sit appointment days before us leaving on vacation. We became very nervous and made other plans since we did not hear from them. Glad it didn't work out after reading other review. I met Mrs. Nanny Paws aka Marilyn 4 years ago and never have worry about my dog again if I can't be home. From a lunch-time walk to being out of town for over a week I know that my dog is not only being taken care of he is being cared for. Marilyn and her pet nannies really love the dogs, including my Toby. Toby was a bit of a challenge being a formerly tortured rescue dog, but thankfully for us, Marilyn and her pet nannies have been accepted by Toby. Whatever service is needed they provide and my Toby is always happy when I get home after he has a visit from Marilyn or her staff. I have referred her service many, many times over the past 4 years and everyone I know that has used Marilyn's service has been extremely happy. They deserve 10 stars in my book. read more

MNP is fantastic! Their new online reservation tool is mobile friendly. They email walk reports immediately after the walk. They keep track of dog & pet sitter movements via GPS. They have never once in 100+ walks over 5 years missed a walk. They have stayed overnight -- with my approval -- when the weather was bad & my dog needed an evening walk followed by a morning walk. They have been flexible with late requests for a walk or the occasional cancellation when my schedule changed. Really, the best. Both this and my review from 3 years ago were proactive. We LOVE MNP. They are beyond wonderful with our pets! One bonus...they email after EVERY pet visit! When I'm away I just check my email and am assured they have been there and how my pets are. The caregivers go above and beyond, from watering plants to getting mail. LOVE THEM!!!! read more

It's a shame what a joke this company really is that they have to call on a friend to post a bogus review after I left mine. Please, anyone considering this service I urge you to contact me prior to using them if you truly care about your pet the same way that I do. They of course will not post the email chain her husband and I have with him threatening to damage my professional reputation in the area. To be fair, the majority of the time my dog was walked for the 30 minutes that she was supposed to but on countless occasions she was walked for less than 20 minutes and on occasion the walker wouldn't even show up. If I were to dare question Marilyn, it was obvious by the tone in her voice and the response below that I was just a thorn in her side. My home is equipped with video surveillance as well as a GPS tracking unit on my dogs collar. I am 100% certain that my accusations are accurate. I wasn't asking for much, just asking for what I was paying for. Use caution when considering this companies services. read more

MNP is awesome! My wife and I have been using them since moving to PA last year. Marilyn has been great with last minute service request and changes. She even called me when the system did not notify her of a scheduled walk to apologize and offered to personally go walk our dog. Tara, Meagan, Katie and Amanda have all been the greatest walkers and sitters with our pets. My wife was working from home one day when we forgot to cancel the walk. She loved hearing how Tara greeted our dog. She had the pleasure of recently meeting Meagan who she thinks is fantastic. Our cat has even managed to steal moments of attention from the walkers too...lol. read more

I can't express our gratitude enough towards Marilyn and her staff. My husband and I have used them now for about 6 months and could not be happier with their service, love for our dogs, and hard work. We have two dogs, both rescues, high energy and a little bit of work! This did not sway Marilyn or Cathy or the rest of the staff. To see Cathy with our dogs is a blessing. She treats them like we would. I was horrified at reading the prior post. I too have a tracking system, alarm and video in our home and all have confirmed the timing. We have been working on training our dogs and Cathy along with the other dog walkers have been more than helpful with working on the commands we are doing at the time. They have helped us out in numerous situations at the last minute. As busy professionals it is so comforting to have a great back up system, one that is reliable and these guys/girls are!! I will continue to use them for daily walks, trips, etc and will refer them to friends and neighbors. read more
