So we ordered their masala chai and it was quite good, they cooked and steeped it very well as you could taste the masala at the end... we also say they have patties (similar to back home)... We tried both the potato and panner... WOW spicy and good to the last bite. I also bought a box of their coconut covered biscuts and they were very good too! This is a pure vegetarian bakery and quite a good one.

I've been to Soghaat three days in a row to grab iftar snacks. They have a wide selection of both…read moresweet and savoury items. The prices are affordable and the taste is great. The first day, we ordered only a few different things to taste. We tried their laddoo, chicken samosas and chicken puff pastries. I liked the savory best. The laddoo was OK only for me. A bit too sweet, compared to others I've tried (the special laddoo at Pak Sweets). Both the first and second day, I found the samosas to be well fried and tasted fresh but on the third day, I found it to be slightly undercooked so we baked them again in the oven. Mostly ordered from Soghaat on the second and third days in bulk, and the feedback we got from others as well is that the chicken samosas are delicious. We also tried and ordered the spring rolls (which was good as well). Finally, I tried the chicken kachori and absolutely loved it! It was my first time trying it, but I specially loved the tamarind sauce that came with it. I also like how the savoury at Soghaat aren't spicy.

We decided to try Dough Master and got some classics. The Akawi Cheese Pie was my favorite. It's lightly salty, subtly milky and melts beautifully on the dough. The Zaatar Pie was a good try too but the zaatar could've been more fragrant and fresh. I love that they have the Zaatar w Cheese Pie (also known as a cocktail pie in Lebanon) since that's my go-to! I went there and ordered Gulab jamun, besan barfi and channa bhatura. I asked the lady taking my order that are these gulab jamun and besan barfi made with desi ghee, she first hesitated and then replied it's not fully ghee, it's mix of oil and ghee. Well I was disappointed as I don't like fake advertisement. I still order and paid for it and left. Channa bhatura was good, however not extraordinary for it to be $8.49, this is almost double the price of other Indian restaurants and better or same taste. Plus they have so less channa ( chickpea curry ) with it, it was not enough. Sweets were also good, again not extraordinary to be charged $2-$5 more than other Indian restaurants and sweets shop. Very disappointed, specially because of misleading advertising and their prices are also higher. I don't mind paying more if they were making all sweets with ghee and not oil and if food was better than others. I will not be going back here again!
