This place is the bomb! Serving sizes were large but not overwhelming. Lots of fresh ingredients in my shrimp tacos. Loved the chips and sauce they provided... not your typical salsa!

I'm impressed Overall, I've heard nothing but rave reviews about Mrs Taco and was excited to check it out. The space is quite small but well laid out with a little bar at the entrance, exposed kitchen beyond that and table/booth seating opposite. It's decorated nicely. Not over the top, cheesy/cheap, like some similar restaurant. One thing I love is the variety on the menu. This is not a "Mexican" restaurant. While they have Mexican cuisines, there is a heavy focus on El Salvadoran and Guatemalan fare as well. The service was excellent. Fast and friendly. The owner, Vanessa, walks the dining area and checks in with every guest. She really creates an intimate experience. The food was awesome. Everything was authentic, fresh, and homemade. I highly recommend checking this place out.

First off this amazing server ( forgot to get their name) was phenomenal!! They had a table of 8-10 people sat at a large table, all the booths were full, another group of 8 people showed up and this host/server managed it all!! Also in my opinion without any stress or conflicts. We were seated, my brother who continues to be short or impatient starts off by barking at their server that he wants a Diet Coke, i say thank you to the server. After which I tell my brother to tone it down because the server seems to be all by themselves and that my brother should be more patient or practice more patience. After we get our drink orders and a basket of tortilla chips and salsa, the server again is told by my brother that we were ready to order...again I say to my brother well let's make sure the server can take it yet. To which the server did have to be elsewhere for a minute and that they would be back. After a minute the server did come back and take our order, I ordered the 3 birria tacos combo and my brother ordered the 3 beef tacos. The food came out maybe 20 minutes later, again this place was hopping for a lunch rush at 12pm. The food was amazing, I wish I had a video of the cheese pull from my birria tacos but sadly I don't so you'll have to imagine. My brother wolfed down his three tacos and then finished off the basket of chips. I would encourage people to visit this local gem, truly an authentic restaurant and the service was amazing!!

A very nice restaurant located in a small outlet. The decor seemed very modern and hip. The inside was a bit warmer than it was outside which I didn't enjoy. Was greeted and seated immediately. They do have a small vegetarian menu. Ordered the veggie fajitas with no cheese or sour cream to make it vegan. The rice was different from the usual Mexican rice but I did enjoy my food. My friend ordered the torta and it was much bigger than we both thought. They did charge $3 for refills on chips/salsa which I thought was strange since other restaurants don't. Overall the visit was nice. The bathrooms were clean and also looked very modern. Our waitress was also very friendly. Would stop here again if I'm in the area.

I was looking for a quick bite to eat and decided to try Mrs. Taco! There is plenty of parking as this is located in a strip mall. The atmosphere was clean and modern! It My son and I were the only two there for awhile. This place seemed very well kept. The service here was out of this world, everyone was extremely kind! It felt like we were being served by family! I have been to a lot of taco joints around and this place definitely wins for best service! The food was pretty good! Definitely try the Queso Pupusa! The Birria tacos were tasty but I wish there was a little more meat. The consume was flavorful! The chips and salsa that came to the table were good, but the salsa came warm and I love a good fresh cold salsa! My son did not like the chicken fingers and fries, but to be fair, that's not what this place specializes in. Overall, this was a delicious quick bite and I would recommend it to those also wanting to get their full of yummy food served by amazing people!

I had a taste of salmon, another winner. I don't think there's one throwaway item on the menu. Fresh brewed iced tea, check. Our server Ximenez from Ecuador was amazing and on top of everything. I was also impressed with Emily the manager. I let her know about our great first time experience. There is so much staff here and she's running around with the rest of them, yet I knew she was in charge just by looking at her. The decor is beautiful and lots of booths and tables split on two sides of the room. I was debating our friend about the strange layout of the restrooms and I liked it. Especially that you don't have to walk far. Each private bathroom is unisex and in general a child shouldn't go in alone anyway. Handwashing could be a shared experience, yet it's wide open. I'd love to come back and even try the weekend brunch.

It was a bit of a trek through rush-hour traffic from our hotel but so completely worth the trip. Discretely located through a door marked only by a red light above it we were warmly greeted by gentleman behind the hardware counter. We were prepared to answer with the password to let us in but for some reason it wasn't asked. No big deal. You are then sent through a door into the beautifully dimly-lit space of the speakeasy. There is plenty of seating, with small tables and some booths. We were shown to our table and greeted by one of the great, friendly hostesses. Drinks are ordered directly at the bar with one of the attendants. You immediately pay for your order which will then be brought to your table. Different but really a nice idea. The music was also nicely unique, with a mix of oldies from the 50's and 60's. An old black and white James Cagney movie played silently on one wall. In terms of the cocktails I have to say these are some of the most delicious and finely crafted drinks I've enjoyed. I began with the Start Your Engine, a delicious gin-based drink. My wife had an absolutely fantastic smoked Old Fashioned, smoked in a large box for a minute or two. Wow! Probably the best we've ever tasted. My second drink was another gin cocktail, the Last Word, which I'd been wanting to try for some time. A fine gin supported by green Chartreuse and lime, this was simply sublime. Highly recommended. The bar and menu is quite varied and extensive, so you're sure to find something to your liking. The space has a great vibe and mellow ambiance. Sufficiently dark, cozy and very nicely and eclectically decorated. Service was outstanding and informative. Reservations are recommended. Like many such places you are "limited" to 90-minute timeframes, which sometimes seems like not enough but ultimately works quite well. The quality of the cocktails, space and service all make for a really enjoyable time. Well worth many visits.

Our waitress was very accomdating until she got busy then we felt we were forgotten. We ordered the Drunken shrimp , bread with olive oil and the avocado toast to start with. The drunken shrimp is just as good as we remember the saffron sauce is sooooo good! but there were 3 of us sharing the apps and it only came with 2 crostini's we asked for a 3rd so we could each have one but little did we know that one very small skinny piece of bread had a $1.00 charge to it. The steak bites with their homemade blue cheese sauce was to die for melt in your mouth!! I even asked if we could buy some of the blue cheese sauce, she said no but that she would bring us another dish of it but she never did. My girlfriend ordered a cranberry mule drink, she was charged an extra $1.00 for the cranberry. We also ordered the goat cheese with sauces that were very delicious with an ample amount of crackers. We got the chocolate Ganache cake to share for dessert. But............ the waitress never took our empty dirty plates but showed up with the dessert with the mess on table, I asked for extra clean plates but she never brought them. Everything we ordered was very delicious, but as the night progressed our service got worse, we asked for the bill but she never came back to get our payment and we had questions my girlfriend walked it up to the bartender with our payments. 2 of us were paying cash and one a credit card and we were charged an extra fee of $5.18 for her using a credit card. That is when we saw the $1.00 charge for 1 piece 3/8" bread and the $1.00 for cranberry mule. Talk about nickel and diming. We would love to go back but unsure if I can get past some of these things. Also, now looking at the bill even closer, none of us had a mimosa and we were charged $8.95 for one.How did we miss that? All added up we paid $16.00 more than we should have. CRAZY!! Sadly, Don't know if I'll be back.

They all appear polished and professional. I ordered the Oliver Burger, the Shrimp and Cheesy Grits, the Spinach Artichoke Dip, and a Stuffed Nutella Cookie. The server recommended I warm the cookie slightly in the microwave and enjoy it with coffee. The food today: spinach artichoke dip is served with grilled bread.... this was delicious right off the bat when the bread is still hot and slightly crispy. However, after the bread sat in the container steaming, the experience wasn't as good. I would recommend thinner pieces of bread with a bit more char on them (like grill marks) and a couple more pieces of bread. I mean, 4 pieces of bread? C'mon man! An okay appetizer dish. Was it worth $15.99? Absolutely not. Shrimp and Cheesy Grits with creamed greens: shrimp were seasoned beautifully but unfortunately were overcooked and rubbery, and the creamed greens were not cooked nearly long enough, they were fibrous and hard to chew, so I was unable to eat them at all, so a waste altogether. The stars of this dish were the charred lemon (like the bread should have been;) ) and the cheesy grits. The grits were divine and I wish there was more of it on the dish and less of the nasty greens. Seriously, switch those ratios around and it would be better. Next , the Oliver Burger: decent, cooked medium, no notes really. The waitress was right about the cookie, it was very tasty with a little warm up and my coffee .
