We went for a late lunch 1:45pm, and there were only a handful of people. We were greeted with a smile and seated. Asked if we wanted drinks. Brought out drink order and chips and salsa, chips were homemade, and salsa was not spicy (good for a Scandinavian). Asked if we had any questions. The menu was not over stimulating and was a good variety of Mexican food. My husband ordered the Chimichanga, and I ordered a taco salad. We bought got the shredded beef. We came here when it first opened and weren't impressed, but everything has changed for the better. We were initially excited because we loved Casa Lupita and Red Luna (same owners); however this menu is a little different (and was very different at launch). They've changed the menu to go back to their roots and they offer delicious chimichangas and tacos. I'm really glad we gave it a second try. Selfishly I hope this family business gets support from the community, it's be great to make this location lucrative enough for them to stick around. We're rooting for them. read more

I'm a massive fan of Red Luna in white bear lake and wanted to try seasons to see how it was. We started out heading into restaurant for lunch around 1pm and sat on the outdoor patio. Took 20+ minutes to get water and menus, there is free chips and salsa but I think waitress forgot a few times to bring to us. Chips were stale and salsa was pretty drab. Another 15 or so and we ordered off the menu, lots to look at and lots of good options on the menu. I ordered Birria Tacos and coworker ordered quesadilla, both tons of food. My birria came with rice and beans, both super bland and not like they are at red Luna. Tacos were good as well as quesadillas. Appears they have one inexperienced waiter and one chef, super disappointed overall from what could be a killer Mexican place. Please just match the food quality to red Luna and hire some professional servers! read more

I have been dying to try out their new location, my wife is a fan, so we checked them out recently. It was happy hour so we started with a couple of house Margaritas and chips and Salsa. They have daily specials that several of the patrons were there for specifically! We ordered some Pupusas (mixed) as an appetizer - highly recommended if you have never had one, go for it. I ordered spicy shredded chicken enchiladas and my wife ordered the Machete (made with a 16" handmade corn tortilla - wonderful flavor). Needless to say we ended up with some to go boxes as we were pleasantly stuffed. My wife was correct, this is a great spot with courteous and friendly service. Well done Red Luna Seasons! read more

I know that this place had a rough start, but just went there last week for takeout and it was much better. We ordered a chicken and a spicy chicken burrito. Both were huge and really good. One person also got the chicken enchiladas and they were really tasty as well. And it only took around 15 minutes to be ready ... so getting better by the day. read more

I have attempted to try the food here three times, they were open today so I made it a point to stop in. I arrived around 5:15, went to the counter and asked about takeout (I wanted to try the taco's). I was told that it was too busy and they stopped takeout orders twenty minutes ago. I mentioned to the ladies that only two table's were occupied but that didn't matter. Good luck with this place lasting. How can you turn away a new customer when only two table have people at them? Stopped in here for lunch, we had a great experience! After reading some of the negative reviews, I was a little skeptical, but did not experience any of the criticisms. Our take out last night (see review below) was not that great, so I stopped by to mention it to the owner and she offered to make it right with a new serving. I could tell she wants to get it right. So it's how you make it right that counts. Other reviewers are correct, we need to support local businesses so we don't end up with all Taco Johns. I'd been once before and thought the food "average/good" and worth going back for more. Got take out last night. Very pleasant counter person. Food was inedible: 1. Chicken tamale - Dry and hard. My wife literally choked on the first bite. Threw it away. 2. Steak taco - Dry and tough. Threw it away. 3.Carnitas taco: Different than other carnitas. Dry, stringing pork. Inedible. Greasy!!!! We SO wanted to like this place. Our food was awful! We ate the pupusas which were greasy- but couldn't deal with pools of grease running down my hand & pooling on the plate from the tacos birria. We couldn't really find the chilies rellenos it was mainly a plate of sauce. We didn't eat our food but did pay our bill & left a tip- Then, our server argued with us & said that these are authentic Mexican recipes. Yes, that is true, but poorly prepared! Stopped in on Cinco de Mayo to see what this place was all about. Got some house margaritas to start things off. The little lady ordered some tacos, I ordered the Birria. Margaritas were extremely salty (seems like they poured the rim salt right into the glass) Tacos didnt have much flavor compared to their other locations. The birria had some great flavor but my order came out wrong. They were quick to fix it though. Also had ordered a side of cheese sauce and they ended up charging us way more then the menu price stated. If im craving Mexican and im in the area I may stop but cannot say I would go out of my way again to go here. read more

There is no real reason to eat here. The chips were greasy and thick an accompanied with an unremarkable salsa. The 'Real Meat' street taco lacked any flavor and the tortillas were falling apart when they arrived at the table. The pupusa was sogged out and served with the same unremarkable salsa. The vegetable burrito contained rice (way overdone), black beans and lettuce. That's all. Apparently onions, tomatoes, peppers, tomatillos, etc., are not vegetables. The place was empty but it took ten minutes to order. There was no followup table service once these delights were placed on the table. Regarding 'ambiance' it's not much different than when it was Three Seasons. The staff appears totally uninterested. read more

My wife and I tried Red Luna for the second time since they opened. First time was at their soft open. Not a fan. We were willing to give them a second chance this week and same result. They weren't busy at all but service was poor. Chips and salsa were offered which was nice but salsa was runny and there were no napkins, water or silverware offered. Our food came but again no silverware, a couple next to us also had to ask for utensils... Just not paying attention to detail. Food was fair but nothing special, rice and beans were luke warm and bland. We got our bill and had to point out our beverages were not included, we didn't want the waitress to have to eat the cost so we told her to correct the bill. We paid the bill, left a decent tip and didn't realize until we got home that we were overcharged?? I couldn't verify at the restaurant because I didn't get a copy of my receipt. I did look at the online menu at home and yes we overpaid. Burrito bowl, root beer, 3 taco meal and diet pepsi. $38.00 w/ tip aagh.... Soft open was just OK but we went back on March 11 and the dine-in menu is improved and alcohol is now available. The margaritas were great and had a good selection of canned beers/etc. We tried 4 different dishes and all were great, especially the Birria Tacos. Others had the Chips/Guac, Street Tacos, Fajitas.
