I do wish they had a taco meal/plate for the street tacos that included rice and We ended up ordering a side of rice that cost more than a taco. The service is fine - I've had really fast service and other times I waited a surprising time. It's a pretty relaxed atmosphere. They've got music going and a couple TVs with news and sports. We loved everything about Mr. Taco! The place is a typical taco joint, nothing fancy, but that doesn't deter from the amazing food! The service was fast and friendly. They checked on us several times to see if we needed anything. We ordered the Wet Burrito and Birria Tacos. The birria stew meat was cooked perfectly and the flavor was absolutely delicious. All of the ingredients tasted fresh! The only complaint is that you don't get free chips and salsa, which is never a deal breaker for us. Had a decent flavor on them though. - [ ] Pupusas (chicharron, cheese & beans): 5/10 - It's alright, it's plain. - [ ] Horchata: 3.5/10 - I don't like horchata so my rating is bias. Decided we wanted some street tacos yesterday. Drove down White Bear Ave and saw their sign was lit up open. We've been there before so thought why not. We park out right in front of it. Go in the first door and then turn to the door to the restaurant. Locked, but the restaurant has customers inside. No sign saying private party just or anything, just the open sign in the window. It came with a plate of onion, avocado, lime & lettuce to add in as well as a delicious tostada. The margarita had amazing seasoning along the rim. The best part though was the salsa! The house salsa I has great flavor and a slight kick, served warm. If you enjoy spice, be sure to ask for the hot salsa. There is a medium and hot and both have great flavor. I am currently on the search for the BEST birria tacos and these were definitely delicious! This place is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking! Then I walked in, I was seated right away and noticed that they had fun decor on the walls. My son loved pointing out different pieces and asking questions! The service here was quick and friendly! Everyone was overly polite and definitely made us feel welcomed! The food: The chips and Queso were both bland in my opinion and I would skip them. The chips were not salted well and even with the pico on top of the queso, it was still lacking taste for me. The marinated chicken flour quesadilla was tasty! My kid really liked it! And it comes with a decent portion! The star of the show here are the birria tacos! They are stuffed with meat, cheese, cilantro and onions! They come with limes which definitely enhance the flavor! The consommé here is 10/10!! Very flavorful!! I will definitely be back for these tacos! Horchata was...interesting. They give you a decent amount! But there was an after flavor that I was not a fan of. I would not get that again. I have had horchata before, so I'm not sure what the taste was that I didn't like. This place is really cute. They have a decent size menu but it's not overwhelming. They also have a full bar. I ordered the lengua plate and it was excellent. Although I would just get the street tacos next time because in hindsight I realized lettuce, sour cream, and tomato's really have no business on a lengua taco imo lol. My sister had the birria tacos which she's had there before. This time the consumé they brought out was cold. We asked the waitress if she could have it heated up and that was no problem. She was very sweet and attentive. We also had the bean and cheese pupusa, which was wonderful! Highly recommend that. The dip/sauce that came with it wasn't very flavorful, but the combination with the slaw was a great bite. I will be back here to try more! read more

Great service - friendly staff. A couple came in that must be regulars here and it was just nice to see their relationship and how well the staff treated them. The machete with pastor and chorizo was delicious and we also shared the barbacoa burrito, also was very tasty, I preferred the machete. Starter was a most delicious top shelf Margherita with fresh tortilla chips and salsa (a little flavor bite made it outstanding). After seeing Kelly from Twin Cuties Live brag about how good this place was, we drove Saturday to check it out. very dissapointed. strawberry Marguerita tasted watered down plus the chicken chimi I ordered was not good. Their chips were tasteless and I thought their prices were high. we brought our meals home as my husband will eat anything. He ordered soup and flawn to go and we waited almost a half hour for it. The waiter got bombarded at the end but for the tune of $100 I will not go back. This was the first place reccomended by TCL we did not like! very dissapointing. I only give it a 1 star. read more

We tried this place for the first time a month ago. I ordered the barria tacos and they were pretty tasty. Other places I have tried barria tacos from were bland and missing flavor. The host was friendly. The inside was clean and welcoming. The only thing I would suggest is that the broth for dipping the taco could be a bit thicker and a bit more flavorful. But over all, very good. I haven't tried anything else there yet but plan to try other foods. read more
