The appointment was 2 months out, I waited and finally got it done in the beginning of Feb. SeRyeon and her assistant were great! They knew it was my first time so they explained everything clearly to me. Before she started, SeRyeon took her time measuring and checking to make sure my new brows are going to be even according to my bone structure and she took her time working on my brows. The recovery was easy, I just followed the instructions she sent to me, using the A&D ointment that they provided twice a day. Mine didn't bleed nor scab much. Highly recommended! I'd been think about doing eyeliner tattoo for a while now and I went back and forth with my decision but finally decided yes! I have been wanting this and it's time to do it! I am so happy that I went through with it. I struggle a lot with oily eyelids and whenever I apply eyeliner, even with primer, I would look like a raccoon within 1-2 hours tops! A month ago, I had it done at a difference place and it was way too thin and nonexistent. Please believe me when I say that I DO NOT write reviews, but MS Seryeon's work is so good it deserves a 5 star review. I have gotten microshading done with her before, but more recently saw her for classic eyeliner and was really nervous about it. I told her I wanted a natural look and she very meticulously drew the liner on my eyes first to make sure I was happy with it before she started. The entire time she asked if I felt any discomfort and if I needed more numbing cream. She was very professional and her work really speaks for itself. I found MS Beauty after struggling with my eyebrow shape for a long time - I've been switching between it being too thick, droopy, to thin, straight brows, too curved, and they ended up being a mix of both after years of trial and error; because of all the changes, my eyebrows became extremely asymmetrical. Luckily, I found MS Seryeon! She was able to find the best fit for my eyebrows to my face shape and worked tirelessly to make sure they were as even as possible (especially due to my asymmetrical face). She's truly a perfectionist - she would have me check my eyebrows (which looked great to me) and then continue to work on any small detailing; she truly went above and beyond! I was also planning on getting the combination style (which you can find on her instagram @ms_seryeon), but she gave me advice based on my skin type and any issues I might have with that style so I ended up getting my brows ombre'd. She is really knowledgeable in what is best for your face. Also, although she does get a lot of Korean/Asian clients (flatter brows), she is also good with more American style brows as well. I had my first appointment last Friday on July 9th and was so happy with the result. My old eyeliner tattoo was discolored and uneven that it was bothering me for a few years. I've been trying to find someone experienced until I saw my friend and her mom's new eyebrow and eyeliner tattoo by Ms. Seryeon. Yes, it took me months to finally meet her but the wait was totally worth it. I'm pretty sure many people don't have the patience to wait that long since she is booked out few months advance. Please take my advice and just wait to get your tattoos done by her. I have previously done my eyebrows and eyeliner in Koreatown (L.A) and Korea but was never satisfied. Ms. Seryeon will take her time with consultation and will not rush until you agree to the shape and design. She really knows what looks best on you as she is the pro but do communicate on what you want so you're happy with the outcome. She was very honest and made me feel comfortable as I was a bit nervous from previous experiences. I also needed some advice on my eyebrows as I'm in the process of getting old tattoos removed so I could get my brows done by her. I am so happy that I found MS Beauty! Ms. Seryeon is extremely talented and very meticulous when it comes to shaping the brow. She was a perfectionist when drawing them in to ensure they were symmetrical, which I really appreciate! She also suggested changing the shape minimally since my existing brow droops down a bit. I am glad I valued her professional opinion bc my face looks younger and overall happier than before :) The procedure itself was minimally painful, and as long as you told her she would add more numbing cream. The shop is in Tustin Market Place, a small unit inside a larger beauty parlour. Seryeon works alone in her unit. She was very detailed and made sure everything was the way I want. I had microblading/micropowder with upper liner tattoo. The numbing cream really helped with the upper liner tattoo pain. Most importantly, Seryeon was very gentle with the tattoo. I had to write about my microblading experience So I just got them done for the first time and I LOVE them!! Ms Seryeon is definitely a perfectionist who will do her job meticulously until both of you are satisfied with the result. I'm a huge crybaby when it comes to pain too so I was pretty nervous but I was really happy that the numbing cream she uses works so effectively that you feel no pain. Her studio is clean and she uses proper sanitation procedures to makes sure you don't get an infection. She even has a translator to help with any language gaps so there's no need to worry if you don't speak korean! Her prices are extremely extremely reasonable as well, especially for the quality of service that she gives! I was seriously blown away. I can't wait for my touch up appointment in a month and I'll definitely be a regular with her for the years to come. I have to follow my fellow Yelpers here in saying that I too have found my eyebrow person! Ms. Seryeon is WONDERFUL and definitely a perfectionist, which I love. My eyebrows were sparse with lots of random bare spots due to self-plucking in my teenage years, so she recommended the combination microblading and microshading. She was very honest with me, and took my ideas for the shape and arch into consideration 100%, but also made them fit my small face frame. I honestly was nervous at first, but she put me to ease after the first few minutes of speaking with her, and you can tell she knows what she's talking about (Case in point - one wall of her studio is completely covered by the NUMEROUS awards and accolades of recognition she's earned over the years). She takes her time and doesn't make you feel like she's trying to rush or just get the job done. I was so amazed by the results! I also have to note that the numbing cream she used did work on me like a charm; I did not feel any pain or discomfort. She was very clear to me that if I were to feel any pain or discomfort, to let her know immediately, and we would stop and reapply some more cream. Another plus is that she has a translator available on a normal basis. The translator was not there on the particular day that I was due to unforeseen circumstances; However, I personally felt that there was no need as she and I had no problems communicating with each other, even though I do not speak Korean. I highly recommend Ms. Seryeon. Based on what I've heard from my friends, her prices are definitely VERY reasonable, especially given the quality of service that Ms. Seryeon provides.
