She is very professional and gentle. The numbing cream she used worked very well, I didn't feel any pain but tickling at first, then felt a little bit sore when it wore off, but you can always tell her so she can put more on for you, I didn't because it wasn't that bad. I'm an alopecia client, and when I voiced to her my concerns about the style I preferred, she was very attentive and gave her honest opinions about the color and style that we used. I'm attaching photos of before pictures, healing, and after healed pictures. ***Please be aware that every client is different, not everyone is the same or prefers the same style. I understand some people can get upset when it doesn't heal the way it's expected. Lynn, had discussed with me the process while it's healing and after it heals. Often times clients are unhappy because it's not the same as "that person" or "the other" person. Remember that everyone held differently, different skin tones, different skin reaction or intake to microblading, also please factor in that some clients have underlying medical conditions. Therefore, healing resultsi and time is quite different for everyone.**** I chose the microblading with shading due to the alopecia (bald eyebrows) to enhance the color and stay longer. I did go back for the suggested touchup that was due 5-6/weeks after it has completely healed. I travel from the Bay Area just to see Lynn, and it's always a pleasure to see her. I also would like to add that her studio is very clean, comfortable, classy and elegant. The instruments she uses are sterile, and she shows the clients that it has been unopened, she is also very thorough with the legal disclosure, which I'm very pleased. I also met her husband, Joey whose also very nice, and he had acquainted with my husband while I was having my appt and they got along very well. I've been wanting to get my eyebrows microbladed for a very long time but was so afraid to trust anybody with my eyebrows. After finding Lynn and Luxury Beauty Studio on Instagram, I fell in love with her work! She has over 7+ years of experience in microblading and permanent makeup under her belt and always creates brows that complement each person's face shape. Pain: I was afraid of the pain that would be associated with this since I've had tattoos and could imagine how much more painful it would be on my face, but Lynn applied numbing cream on me before beginning and later during the process. It was a comfortable experience for me and I literally almost fell asleep during both of my sessions. My brows: I used to do my eyebrows thick and straight like the Korean trend, but unfortunately I was shaping against my natural arch and was tweezing about half my eyebrow off. Lynn suggested that we follow my natural arch so that the result will allow my hair to grow back, meaning I will have to tweeze less. I trusted her, and this was the best decision ever! It now takes me about 3-4 weeks before I start having to tweeze any hairs off the edges. My hair is fully growing in now and I think the brow arch definitely opens up my face much more! If you're skeptical of picking a brow artist, I highly recommend Lynn above anybody else because her results are the most natural I've ever seen. I had my initial appointment at luxury beauty studio before the holidays. I was referred by a friend that loved her results. When I saw hers and others' done here, I was comfortable scheduling an appointment with Kay. I was hesitant to do at first as i didn't want them to look like tattooed eyebrows. I scheduled a touch up 5 weeks later where i thought i was going to just get a few strokes here and there where it didn't pick up the color all the way... she basically did it all over which was great! I can't say enough about Lynn, and her clean, chic, and comfortable studio. She has recently renovated the space so it feels like a day at the spa. But that's not the best part of my experience with getting my eyebrows micro bladed. First off, I have seen my fair share of disastrous looking brows. I researched the top 30 specialists on yelp, and found her pictures to be the most symmetric, natural, and artistically done eyebrows, lips, and eyes. I am so happy I made the decision to go to her, and I picked her as the artist to work with since she has so much experience and teaches as well. My first session, she did everything in her power to make me comfortable in the chair, comfortable with the needle, and comfortable with the outline of what she was going to do. We spent a lot of time initially before she began the actual process, and she never made me feel like I was wasting her time. She is warm, sweet, kind, and gentle which is really important for folks who have never ever had any sort of tattoo on their body. The face is what everyone initially sees, and the eyebrows shape the face, so I was super nervous about getting microblading done until I met Lynn. She put me at ease, and she really is a master at her art. She's also super flexible. I have two kids so she's really good about accommodating schedules, and she works with you to resolve any issues you may have. I wanted to wait to write a review until I had gotten my touch up appointment, and enough time had passed to fully see the results. AND I LOVE IT!!
