Unfortunately, this ended up being the worst lash studio experience I've had. For my first appointment, I requested a light, wispy set and explained that I wanted as many of my natural lashes filled as possible while keeping the fans light and natural. Vicky was nice and attentive to the style I wanted, but afterward I noticed quite a few natural lashes had been left unlashed. She also seemed rushed toward the end because her next client was already waiting. I contacted the studio the next day and asked if they could make the set slightly fuller. Ashley handled the adjustment, and from the moment I arrived, she was extremely cold and unfriendly. Instead of greeting me, she immediately asked, "What do you need fixed?" When I tried pointing out the sparse areas, she interrupted me and said, "I can't see what you're pointing to. Lay down." I explained that I liked the original style and simply wanted the bare natural lashes filled. Instead, my lashes came out significantly darker and thicker, uneven between both eyes, and with little attention to the original mapping. When I told her I wanted the lighter fans Vicky had used, she responded, "Well, I don't know what she did, so I can't do the same style." This was surprising considering they work and train under the same studio. I eventually left dissatisfied and booked at another studio the following week. During that week, my lashes became increasingly uncomfortable and felt like they were pulling on each other. When the other artist removed them, she took photos confirming that multiple lashes were stuck together. In some areas, approximately 3-4 natural lashes were glued to a single fan, and some fans were glued together as well. The removal was difficult and painful due to Ashley and Vicky's poor application. Although Vicky was much nicer and did a better job with the styling, some of her original application also had natural lashes stuck together. The bases of the lashes were very boxy too, which explains why I felt like the lashes were poking my eyelid anytime I closed my eyes. As a lash artist myself, I don't leave a review like this lightly. Proper isolation is extremely important for the health and integrity of natural lashes. Between the application issues and the way my concerns were handled, I unfortunately cannot recommend Moon Lash. The experience showed a lack of consistency between artists, poor customer service, and most importantly, a lack of attention to natural lash health.

When I finally woke up, I didn't even have the lashes I was so used to having--I've been getting my lashes done since 2019--and after everything I had been through, I just wanted to start feeling like myself again. My previous lash place was too far for me during my recovery, so I found Bliss and met Haydee. I'm SO glad I did. After a series of strokes, sometimes I joke that I'm still playing "connect the dots" because everything doesn't always connect as quickly as it used to. Haydee has been nothing but patient and understanding with me. She takes her time, makes sure I'm comfortable (I have horrible chronic pain in my lower back), and most importantly, my lashes always look beautiful! It took me about 6 months to even consider doing my eyebrows, I already have decent brows but was tired of drawing them all the time. When I saw my sister in law had them done I got a motivated and started checking around. There are a lot of specials and deals out there but I didn't care, just wanted someone who is good. I started asking around and was referred to Lynn by a client of mine, I was still hesitant and did a lot of research, looked at her before and after, and her reviews here, when I called she answered right away, other places I was looking into did not even have a phone, text or book and prepay for the whole visit before you go, I did not like that. My appointment was scheduled a week later, today I had my eyebrows micro blading with Lynn, I have to tell you I first impressed with her confidence, next you can tell she has a passion and really loves what she does. She didn't do it her way and that's it, it was a team effort of me and her, explaining the process along the way. I am extremely picky by nature, maybe even OCD, she was very nice, gentle, and after going through this, I highly recommend her magic gentle touch. The tool doesn't do the work, the person holding it does, how much pressure is applied makes a difference. I was in a hurry, on the first pass I told her to start without numbing, second and third pass she did numb. She is a perfectionist and really has an eye for detail. I am very happy and already referred many of my friends on the same day. Thank you for loving what you do. I came back last week for my touch up after 3 months because I was on vacation. Lynn asked me to wait to after because cancun is really humid. I am one week into my touch up and have received a lot of compliments. Best host ever!!! I had been wanting to take Linda Paradis' tattoo removal class for awhile now but it was never convenient due to the various locations conflicting with my busy schedule. But as soon as I saw that Lynn was hosting the class, I rearranged everything to make it happen because it was an opportunity to learn from Linda and meet the wonderful Lynn! Her attention to detail and expert customer service included making sure all the necessary materials and products were on-hand and easily accessible so as not to interrupt or interfere with the flow of the curriculum. She made sure we were well fed and nourished so we didn't have to worry about lunch, snacks, coffee and water! She took care of all the BIG and little details so we could concentrate on absorbing the information. Lynn's charming personality and willingness to include everyone really made the two-day course extra special and well-worth money spent. She does an amazing job and I would definitely recommend anyone to search for her hosted classes! She's so good that my boyfriend enrolled in another one of her hosted class in September. I recently completed my five day microblading/ombre class with Lynn at Luxury Beauty Studio. I researched a lot for microblading and classes and chose Lynn's studio for several reasons: She has taken courses from two of the other studios I was looking at, and got her Master Microblaing certificate from one of them. Also, her work is amazing as she is an artist and perfectionist. I also liked that she offers mentorship after class if finished for a month, three days a week. I live in Carlsbad, CA and unable to come that often. Lynn said I could come once a week for three months. She is so accommmodation and helpful. Once I chose her class I met six other students. We all bonded and became close friends. Lynn made sure that all of us were able to work on models. I was a little intimidated at first, but Lynn sat down with me and helped me along the way. She is very passionate about her work, her clients and her students. I am so happy to find her because I know she cares about her students success!! I still drive up to Tustin once a week and practice. I love learning this profession and so glad to have Lynn as my mentor. She's awesome!! read more

I was referred to Lynn after I had a bad microblading job done on my eyebrows by another person. My brows were super dark and not even. Lynn was very honest during my consultation. She recommended to have my brows removed at least 4 times to get my old tattoo removal to at least 60% before she can revise my brows. She recommended me to be a model in her removal class so that I can see if I like the result. After the first session, I can see my eyebrows were a little lighter. I came back 4 weeks later to see Lynn at her studio to have my 2nd session done. The experience was painless and I was really amazed how the result turned out. I can see my brows were lightened up a lot this time. I immediately booked to see Lynn for a next visit to continue with my removal process. Lynn explained the removal process is lengthy but she wants to ensure my brows are lighten enough before she can revise my brows. I highly recommend Lynn to everyone who is considered permanent makeup as she is truly a skilled artist who cares for her clients and know exactly what she is doing. I took her fundamental microblading course. I am so grateful that I have met amazing teacher Lynn. She is not only skillful as a permanent makeup artist, she is also sweet, caring, super knowledgeable, and beautiful inside and out person. She teaches you different cases with different clients with her many experiences. She taught me every steps, and give me a lot of advices include from client consultation to client after care. What I most appreciate is her continuous support and very fast response every time I message her. If I could give this studio more than 5 stars I would!! Lynn is amazing such a pro and so detailed. I was so nervous about getting my brows microbladed but after my first time with her I was just so happy I can't even describe how happy I was with my brows. I came in with 90s overpluckes eyebrows and barely no hair to work with and Lynn made magic! I work as a blogger and a professional model/actress and I do t even have to get ready like I used to my makeup prepping time used to be around 20 min and now I wake up do some makeup and leave in 5-ten min I'm done! Totally recommend you to get your brows done with Lynn she's a professional 110 percent! Much love to her and her studio! Lynn and Kay are consummate professionals in every sense of the word. I came to Lynn for corrective eyebrow tattooing, not only were my eyebrows correctly shaped to flatter my face but my eyebrows were also color corrected to compliment skin, hair, and eye color. The two professionals Lynn and Kay took their time and consulted with me throughout the process. I felt very comfortable with their knowledge, technique, and professionalism. Lynn is simply amazing! I had my brows done years ago and the colors began to fade off. I went to Lynn for a consultation to see if she can do a re-touch or even a correction. She is very professional, friendly, always smile and not to mention GORGEOUS. She recommended I should do a correction on my eyebrows because we both agreed my brows really need a makeover. Let me start off by saying Lynn is simply AMAZING!!! I went in just for a brief consultation with Lynn for my eyebrows and she explained to me from A through Z. I recently attended a training class that Luxury Beauty Studio hosted over two days to learn a very unique method of cosmetic tattoo removal. Thanks to Linda (the instructor) and Lynn and her crew for the wonderful experience. I'm sure a ton of work goes into the preparation and then making sure everything runs smoothly, not to mention keeping track of and communicating with over 30 attendees! I greatly appreciated the time, care and effort that was put into it, and Lynn never once appeared frazzled -- she was always calm and ready to help. I took my microblading class through Lynn at her studio. Not only is she a beautiful person inside and out she is a phenomenal teacher. She is patient and kind, but isn't afraid to correct you and guide you in the right direction. She is a master at her craft and offers continuous support long since my training has been over. I just completed my microblading and pixel dust training by Lynn. It was a very intense learning experience. She poured her entire self into her students and gave me more than I have anticipated. What was so impressive is that Lynn's training doesn't end when you have completed the course; she continues to support you, wants to see your work, makes recommendations, etc. It is very important to her that you become successful. The owner Lynn has the worst bedside manner and was so rude to me. She became very argumentative for no reason. She didn't even know what my appointment was for that was the first problem that made me nervous When I was there to actually get my eyebrows done. I had an appointment that I scheduled over a month in advance for powder brows. She was so rude so argumentative that I did not dare let her even touch my face and furthermore she refused to give me my deposit back. Sunny even said my lashes were healthy during the time of the service. She did not refuse to put on 14 or 15, as Julie falsely stated in her infuriating response. In fact, the other lash place I went to afterwards put them on without a problem. Wow Julie, you completely mishandled a customer service situation and you try to rectify it by lying your way through. Take that as a lesson and try to shape not overpluck. I had been letting my brows grow in and just drawing them in all this time. I had looked into permanent brows and microblading for a long time but never did it due to cost and upkeep. Anyway, with hormonal shifts and passing time, my brows have been looking sparse these last few years. Drawing in and powdering my brows in the morning takes longer than I would prefer. I did a deep dive into microblading and nano-blading, weighing the pros and cons. I settled upon a few permanent make-up artists in the area and reached out to them. It was time for me to take charge of my morning routine. Saena Kim has a robust repertoire on Yelp and Instagram so I reached out to her. Making an appointment was easy as she utilizes an online booking system. The consultation is $50 and goes towards your procedure if you choose to continue with her. With my oily skin, I knew that most PMA would suggest combination powder brows, but she suggested nano brows that are machine assisted. I trusted her with literally tattooing my face, so I went with her suggestion after voicing my concerns. I asked about the inks, she used (which are inorganic). I asked about her experience with nano brows (4+ years). I asked about the numbing prior to the procedure (topically applied). My appointment from start to finish was about an hour and a half. She took the time to shape my brows, get feedback from me, and went to work with her machine. My pain was minimal; I might have fallen asleep. She has offered microblading services for years. She also offers lash extensions, brow lamination, brow correction, and lip blush too. She rents a space inside Sola Salons in the Woodbury Town Center. It's a small, cute space with feminine details and bright lighting. There are other beauty services offered inside the salon as well, just know where you need to go. There is plenty of parking in the lot. I will be back in a few weeks for a touch-up session but so far my brows have been looking more shapely than ever before. The brows are healing nicely and I will post an update with side-by-side images, when all is said and done. Thanks Saena for giving my brows new life!

As someone who's been doing micro blading for about six years now, I've had fantastic experiences, and unfortunately a few not so great. If you know you know How important and stressful it can be to find someone who can not only microblade you and make it look good, but who just understands what you need. Unfortunately not only do I have really oily skin, but I also have skin that seems to sometimes want to reject the pigment And not really retain it very well. Long story short, my previous microblader moved and for the past year I've been very unsuccessful in finding someone new that I was happy with. After a lot of research and reading my fellow Yelper's reviews, I made an appointment with Golnaz, as not only did she have reasonable prices, but her reviews not just on Yelp but other platforms were extremely positive. After reaching out to her right off the bat I felt really good as she was so sweet and patient with explaining different options to me, and really listening to my history about micro blading and understanding what I needed. I first saw her at the end of November 2023. The time and precision and attention to detail that I experienced with her immediately put me at ease and throughout the entire process she would often give me the mirror and have me look and give input which I absolutely loved. Not only that, but the pricing that she quoted me was such a good deal and as a new and first time client, I ended up getting a facial that day as well! Normally, after I get my eyebrows micro bladed I'm in a good amount of pain and get a headache, but I felt so good that I was able to get a facial, which by the way felt amazing and made my skin feel amazing as well! Since then, I have seen her two more times, one for a touchup, and one as recently as yesterday. As I mentioned, unfortunately my skin does not retain pigment very well so with micro blading or any type of makeup tattooing, I do need to get touchups more often. since this time my brows had not retained the color more so than usual and had faded so quickly after the touchup, Golnaz was gracious enough to offer to do another touchup complementary and see if there was a different strategy she could try to avoid the color fading so quickly. One might think that if someone is offering a complementary service, they would rush and not take as much time as opposed to if they were getting paid, but not only was that not true and she took almost 2 hours, she even tried and included a different method in addition to the micro blading to help ensure they would not fade as much. As usual, she had me involved throughout the entire process and seemed to welcome and encourage me to speak up and let her know if there were any spots that I felt still needed to be filled in or even went to the color after she had even started. I know this review seems like an essay, but I really really do think it's important to emphasize businesses especially those who are single person small businesses so that potential customers can really get a sense of the type of person they are going to be dealing with. I feel so comfortable with Golnaz and the three times I've been there I feel like I've been hanging out with a friend as she and I chat through the procedures making me forget that my brows are getting sliced into and before I know it, she is done! She does beautiful brows and as I said prioritizes her client happiness and wants to ensure that her clients leave feeling satisfied and part of the process. I will update with pictures once my brows heal, so stay tuned!! if someone who's never had micro blading done please know that it is extremely important to find someone who you feel comfortable with not only with their work, but just themselves and their personality with you in general.
