I had such a wonderful experience at this restaurant. First off we were greeted by the most warm and welcoming server. She was taking care of the entire restaurant and didn't miss a beat. The food is fantastic. The chicken and waffles is the way I like them, with tenders not bone in (controversial, I know). But I swear, that may have been the best tender I've ever had. The flavor was insane! The brisket hash was rich and warm. Topped off with their in-house made hot sauce, it was a perfect meal. Also, the music was so on point. Just tied together a wonderful experience.

Very cozy dinner spot with high quality food!! Me and my husband got 5 star restaurant quality food and service, we were highly impressed by the love put in our chef's special and shrimp scampi! We could not stop raving to the server of how delicious our food was, it was on point! This gem is going to put hudson valley on the map with their chef alone!

Awesome outdoor patio seating right out front, great for people-watching over dinner and drinks. Right across from the Washington's Headquarters. Food looks slightly better than it is, with the shrimp wrap sounding amazing though kind of uninteresting. Unsure I'd come back but a great spot to hang for sure.

This place has a nice area to sit outdoors. We got lucky with great weather. Service was great and food even better. Unfortunately we live in Florida so it will be a while before we come back.

We found this quaint little restaurant on yelp while we were traveling through Newburgh. 4-1/2 Stars does not do it justice. It should be a 5 star plus!! Our server Catalina was so sweet! She recommended the Brisket Hash to my husband and I had the Fairfax breakfast both meals were DELICIOUS! The place is so cute and VERY CLEAN. Wish the weather was nicer(it was cold and rainy) then we could have sat in their beautiful patio! This is a must stop whenever you're going through Newburgh!

Very well-executed food in a nice, chill neighborhood joint. Small bar, seating for 20 or so and everything was much better than average.

Stopped here for lunch with my car group on our way to Ticonderoga. The food and service were excellent. Try a burger or the Leatherman!

The bistro has a cute exterior offering a few outdoor seats and a minimal but stylish interior and is perfect if you want to stay and chill or get your food to go. This isn't Subway so the sandwiches are priced above $10, but considering the quality and quantity (and maybe because I'm just acclimated to paying ridiculous prices in the City) you definitely get your money's worth. I heartily enjoyed the sliced hanger steak sandwich and found the mix of horseradish mayo, sautéed mushrooms, and arugula on a toasted ciabatta to be perfection. I also tried the fried chicken sandwich which was well seasoned and made all that much better with the sriracha mayo and pickles! I will be back for certain to explore the rest of the sandwich and salad options, especially the capers and oyster mushroom sandwiches and roasted beet and goat cheese salads. They also offer baked goods from Newburgh Flower Shop down the block as well as a variety of coffee and tea drinks. If you get pickup, call the restaurant directly because the prices through Doordash are higher to compensate for the fees the restaurant has to pay. Good to have Toasted on the Liberty Street scene!

The bread was sturdy and crusty and crunchy on the outside. The oyster mushrooms were accompanied with a lovely spicy aioli and pickles. Even though it may a cost a little more than a sandwich from a national chain, the food is made with lots of care with fresh ingredients and the portion is enough for two lunches (at least for me). It was a little messy so I was glad I was outside to enjoy it. It's a small space inside (perhaps 5 square table for 2 each) and it's almost kitty corner to my favorite shop, Oliver & Chatfield. Since it's a little further down on Liberty street, you'll find plenty of street parking.

Between the delicious food, outstanding service, and breathtaking views of the Hudson River and the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge, it's always a great experience. The staff is consistently friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The servers know the menu well and are happy to make recommendations, making every visit feel relaxed and enjoyable. One of our favorite times to visit is for their weekend brunch buffet, which offers a great variety of options. During the week, their Happy Hour (4-7 PM) is another favorite, especially the $1 oysters. It gets busy, so I definitely recommend arriving early. Just keep in mind that Happy Hour is available only in the bar and lounge area. The restaurant is clean, has a spacious parking lot shared with the neighboring restaurant, and offers a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the river during the warmer months. The patio closes for the winter, but it's one of the best places to dine when the weather is nice. They also have a kids' menu, although my 6-year-old usually orders from the regular menu because she has a very adventurous palate. We went for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised by how attentive the service was. The setting alone is quiet, scenic, and relaxing, adding to the experience feeling special. We're particular about cocktails, and the specialty drinks leaned a bit sweet and light for our taste, but switching to a Grey Goose martini solved that quickly. The standout of the meal was the special appetizer, the Lobster Escargot. Between the bread service and the rich, bisque-like sauce layered over the classic preparation, I could have happily ended the meal right there. We left no trace behind. I followed with the crab cake and wedge salad. The crab cake was generously sized, very fresh, and exactly what I hoped for. My husband ordered the branzino, which was absolute perfection, beautifully cooked and full of flavor. The sides, however, were less memorable; the smashed potatoes and green beans felt under-seasoned and a bit boring compared to the rest of the meal. Overall, it was a lovely anniversary lunch with memorable dishes and a beautiful view.
