Come because you're hungry, and prepare to be charmed by the gorgeous outside seating area. After driving around their big curve many times, I finally stopped in, and am so glad I did! Sitting in the lovely courtyard (I only had a drink, btw) gave such a feeling of serenity and care - every tree and stone is thoughtfully placed. I love a space that inspires me to garden! -- I felt blissed out for the rest of the afternoon!

Really good food with a casual, relaxing outdoor patio. All seafood was super fresh and tasty. We had mixed oysters and a lobster roll. Can't wait to come back again and bring friends.

Whenever we're in town, my family and I make sure this is a stop. Amazing food with the most friendly service I've ever experienced.

Such a cute place with good food. Amazing crème brûlée. Service was excellent. I enjoy be able to sit and not feel rushed. I really like their patio and live music on Saturday night. A hidden gem you should definitely check out.

Everything about this place was excellent! Great service, outdoor seating, living music, good drinks, and fresh food. The clam chowder was some of the best we have ever had- so herby and not too much cream. Still thinking about it! The mains were so flavorful and the side salads were simple yet effective. I got a mocktail and it was so delicious, pleasantly surprised. The vibes are what make this place! The music, fire, and games make the outdoor space very lively. There was a nice quiet and air conditioned bar inside as well. This was the perfect dinner spot for our trip to the area for the weekend!! Highly recommend

Passed by during work. Just decided to pop in because we are hungry ! 4:30pm in the afternoon, not busy ~ great food, cute place and good service. Didn't expect anything just want some clam & oyster. And it was good. Great scallop scampi not over cooked.

This was our second time in a week & everything was better! Everyone enjoyed their meals, drinks & dessert. The service was fast and the waiter Pedro was very attentive. We ordered oysters CT & MA...fresh & delicious. The New England clam chowder, seafood tarragon chowder were thick and perfect for Fall day. Our party ordered mushroom risotto with scallops...so much food enough for 2 people, shrimp scampi - generous amount of shrimps, salmon was outstanding & our friend said it was the best he ever had, shrimp roll & fries & fish & chips. Only complaint was the fish was too big of a piece & preferred them to be smaller & fries were under the fish & was soggy because of heat & oil. We're enjoyed our cocktails...Manhattan, lemon drop martini, beer & Long Island... The atmosphere was very relaxing & quaint. We loved outdoor fire pit

We went for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised by how attentive the service was. The setting alone is quiet, scenic, and relaxing, adding to the experience feeling special. We're particular about cocktails, and the specialty drinks leaned a bit sweet and light for our taste, but switching to a Grey Goose martini solved that quickly. The standout of the meal was the special appetizer, the Lobster Escargot. Between the bread service and the rich, bisque-like sauce layered over the classic preparation, I could have happily ended the meal right there. We left no trace behind. I followed with the crab cake and wedge salad. The crab cake was generously sized, very fresh, and exactly what I hoped for. My husband ordered the branzino, which was absolute perfection, beautifully cooked and full of flavor. The sides, however, were less memorable; the smashed potatoes and green beans felt under-seasoned and a bit boring compared to the rest of the meal. Overall, it was a lovely anniversary lunch with memorable dishes and a beautiful view.

So my order was ready for pickup at time quoted, the staff is very friendly and grateful with customers, always nice to be thanked for ordering. The festival dumplings were great, so crispy on the outside and sweet and savory on the inside. Jerk wings were a blend of smoky, sweet and savory, very tasty, but also very messy on the fingers. Hah. For the steamed fish with veggies and white rice, fish was well seasoned and tender. Just amazing and delicious. The veggies glad they super soft and absorbed the juices, the rice was a pleasant surprise they use basmati rice over long grain for white rice, hardly ever see it used, plus rice was soft and loved how like the veggies got that flavor bath as well. They really should advertise more here, since the food is great and definitely adds to Walden since it's either Mexican, Chinese or Italian food as your only options.

She looked at my wife, daughter then looked away. The men at the bar turned to look at us a couple times not friendly at all. I tried smiling and in that time my wife and daughter walked out later on telling me that the restaurant smelled terribly of fish, which is weird because I am the only one that doesn't even eat fish. I just found the odor very very strong at the time. I then proceeded to still try to get her to acknowledge me and say we could sit anywhere being that the place was large and Noone besides the 2 men were in there. I walked out in disbelief. Really upset with this experience as we were very excited to try the food. We love Jamaica, Jamaican people and love Jamaican food... unfortunately would never go back. We went to eat down the road elsewhere ..

The main theme seems to be fresh fish, seafood, and it seems fresh everything else. (Confirmed that they get fresh shipments daily). With reservations for 9 at 6:30 on a Monday, where many places are closed, we walked into a fully booked restaurant. Our giant table stood out amongst all the other full tables that were in various stages of dining. So, we took up a decent amount of the restaurant space. A reunion with family and so were happy to talk and have some bread, and drinks while they were wrapping up their other patrons also enjoying themselves. The main purpose seemed to be to time taking our orders in a way that they would come out properly. As the food came out, it was one wonderful dish after another. I could name and describe eschar one, but fresh and flavorful is the best way. I can imagine that at the time when we arrived that the kitchen was hopping. The chefs seemed to focus very well on each individual order, so of course it took some, but not excessive time. As it took a little while to start we also were not rushed out. Perhaps if we had gotten there at 5 then I suppose we might have been moved along some, since restaurants need to get some turnover at the peak hours, we were happy to offer some well rewarded patience, which was reciprocated with polite, warm, service and great food. This is a regular place for locals who know what they like. It is well worth putting some effort in to explore the various foods and drinks offered, as they were all exceptional. So, I must give it 5 stars. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is unique and actually stunning, especially during daylight where you are overlooking the Hudson and into the mountains across the river. Thus, it is a great landmark establishment of the Newburgh area.
