I had an appointment with Dana on May 4, 2019 at 10:30am. This was my lazy-day and I showed up in some comfy clothes and a pair of puppy themed slippers, which no one made me feel weird about. The check-in process was seamless and I waited for a very short time. After being greeted and lead to my room, Dana started her work. I'll be honest, I had my eyes closed for pretty much all of this session, but I'm pretty sure that if I had opened them, I would have witnessed some wicked witchcraft going on. She's got some magic hands that transported me to another dimension! I was so relaxed throughout the duration of this session, I was a little worried that my heart would just stop! She was like a black belt in massage judo, gently attacking every knot and tenseness my body had. I also want to apologize to this location for the drool my body likely produced while I was being lulled to sleep by soft ambient music and this electrifyingly professional application of massage techniques. Dana and the staff were very friendly and I felt spoiled the whole time I was here. There was a new attendant at the front desk who I could tell was still in training. She was super respectful and very attentive. I threw an unintentional curveball at her with a complexity regarding my account and she was able to find a solution expeditiously. By this time however, Dana had me so relaxed that I was just about willing to pay for the massage with my whole damn wallet, baby pictures and all! I plan on making this location my primary location and will update this review as our relationship evolves, but know that if there aren't any edits to this entry that my opinion of them remains unchanged. The pressure felt like an elbow was being dug into my muscles continuously. Im 23 years old and fairly flexible so I know I likely wasn't that tight and I've never had a painful massage in past experiences. The lady just told me to breathe through it. Additionally, she sat down for the entire service and used a tool to do 95% of the massage. I was expecting her to use hand techniques as I've had at other establishments, but I was disappointed. This service was definitely not worth the time or money and I'd like to be refunded. I filled out their survey and emailed management and no one responded for 2-3 weeks. I told him I needed something more professional, rather than my wild too-long frizzy hair that looked like I spent an unfortunate night on the beach that I'd soon regret. He started straight away with good wash and cut off about 12". Instead of cutting it in tiny sections, he cut it all at once. I'm not used to that MO, but the results were gorgeous. Perfect cut, blowed dry with a round brush, smoothed with a flat iron. I love it! He's only been at the salon since January 2022, he says, but he certainly has a fan in me!
