The crew failed to follow lead paint remediation practices and contaminated my entire yard with lead-based paint chips. They came out twice to "clean up" the lead paint - both times failed to reasonably clean up the lead paint chips. They then claim another contractor caused the lead paint contamination, quit the job without notice, and refuse to file a claim with their insurance company to cover the cost of cleaning up the lead paint chips they failed to contain. IMO, they are trying to get out of their responsibility to clean up the lead contamination. If you have a house that may have lead-based paint, I think you should avoid Clear Choice Restoration at all costs.

Had Kaufman install a rubber roof on our home and new flashings. It was and has been nothing but a…read morenightmare. Huge gaps left where they laid heavy beads of caulking. Some flashings were installed incorrectly resulting in water intrusion. The seams on the rubber were not laid to shed water they were stacked and the rubber was cut short across the entire roof. The drip edge was installed directly against the facia which has resulted in the facia now rotting. When I asked about all of this the owner came out and said as a homeowner it's your responsibility to get on the roof every year and remove and replace caulking. NEVER EVER AGAIN will they get a penny from me. Be very cautious when dealing with this company.

A big roofing company tried to help me but quit on my family halfway through, I guess the insurance company was too much for them? I felt alone and tried to find someone else to help, someone who might know a way to win. I remembered her signs in my neighborhood and hoped maybe she was different because her style feels earnest, honest, and like someone trying to grab the American dream of making it their own way. When Renda and I were first texting about her taking over my claim I was quiet about my reservations as I was aware I was jaded and hurt by those who came before her promising us the same kind of care but I have been blown away and regret any doubts I ever had of finding an insurance specialist who could actually get insurance to pay like they're supposed to. Whereas others just promised me the water would stop coming in and they were there for us, Renda actually did everything. Every promise made was kept, and our roofing emergency was resolved and fixed in less than a couple weeks of taking over my claim.
