They have pool tables, lots of seating, drinks, food and LIVE MUSIC! I really enjoyed an 80's band called Time Fighters. Alesha was my server. She was friendly and outgoing and had a good spirit about her. I had a chicken Caesar salad. Their sweet potato fries were good. I tried their beef bites... 07/11/26 There's nothing like being able to hop on the motorcycle in the "big city" and in 40 minutes you're in a quant mountain village, having breakfast al fresco with nothing but the smells, sights and sounds of the forest around you. Rode up with my lifelong friend Cheech, who introduced me to Mt. Baldy Lodge 5 years ago,, and we had nothing but a killer experience! Sean was our server and he was stellar. He had all of the outdoor tables himself and was on top of his game. The food here is so good. I insist every visit that I will change up my order but I never do. The Biscuits and Gravy are so good that I just keep going back. I always get mine with an Egg on top and 2 Breakfast Sausage. The Biscuits are fluffy and buttery on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside. The Gravy is hot, thick and very hearty. My Egg was done perfectly, and the Breakfast Sausage was plump and delicious, as usual.. I know it's not the healthiest of choices but it is most delicious!! We decided to drive upon a lazy Monday afternoon. Haven't been here in a few years. The waitress was super friendly and was at our table right away. The only restaurant here so not too many choices to go from. We stopped on our way down after hiking and it was a great way to relax and unwind after. Food is basic bar type food and their prices include tax already. We sat out back on their patio which was very quaint. Service/food was decent. Nothing fancy but very fresh. We stayed in a cabin for the weekend and it was so fun! The pool and grounds were clean and safe. The cabin was perfect and it was nice to just walk over to the lodge to eat. There isn't a microwave or fridge so pack a cooler if you want snacks. The staff is so friendly and helpful. We played ping pong and watched a band on Sunday. Swam in the big pool. I am pretty sad that I must have come at a wrong day and time. Last time I was here, it was about 24 years ago and I've been talking about how great the burgers are. I was excited to show my 21yo daughter this amazing place. Unfortunately on Oct 10,2025 around 11:50am, my burger was not the best. It was not bubbling hot and juicy as I had remembered it. The burger was warm, the bread was cold, but still had a good taste. The fries and chili fries were really good though. I ended up visiting an old friend who lives down the hill and I told them about my experience. They were really surprised because they were just at the Mt Baldy Lodge a few weeks before I drove out. The ambiance is exactly how I remembered it and the service was incredible. I didn't hate my meal, I ate it. I know it was a fluke (it happens) and hopefully I can come back sooner than 24 years to revisit this place that brought so many memories when I was younger. read more

300 pm, Sunday, September 14, 2025 First time visiting here. But my friend has been here and was interested in hearing the live music. Parking: uh interesting... We squeezed into a street parking space but there were spaces to be had. Knowing the area is helpful. TIP: place to go order to eat your food poolside as there is no waitress service out there. Beware of bees swarming poolside. Signs were posted. It was a just warm enough day to swim. But the pool was not heated. Swimmer beware! Haha. We were the crazy adults swimming in the chilly pool. I'd been in colder as a competitive swimmer, so be careful. Swim with a buddy. The food was really good. I had a Cobb salad and enjoyed the delicious greens, hard boiled egg, crumbled bacon, and dressing. Eating poolside with a live band playing classic rock was great. I enjoyed it a lot. read more

For being set in a acquaint touristy mountain town area, the food here is shockingly good! The menu is pretty eclectic with many Mexican inspired breakfast dishes, as you would expect in Southern California. On a Sunday morning, the place seemed a little understaffed, but the staff that was there was hustling. I woke up at 4 AM to hike up Mount Baldy, and then came down here for breakfast, I think this is the best way to do it! Family Sunday drive up the mountain to Mount Baldy. Clean air and a great view. We stopped off at the Mount Baldy Lodge restaurant. It was nice and toasty. They had the fireplace going. The food looked amazing. We had dessert. The pies were yummy. The waitress was absolutely wonderful. People are friendly and appear to be really happy. Just a note. There's a lot of traffic coming down from the mountain parking can be tricky so keep your eyes peeled. We got there around 3 PM, but I think we're gonna come back and have their brunch which looks absolutely amazing. I believe it's only on Saturday and Sunday. The raspberry pie was delicious and you can't go wrong with Dutch apple pie. They warmed it up for us and we had it with the side of vanilla ice cream. The hot cocoa was yummy. Unfortunately, they were all sold out of the potato skins. That's one of the many appetizers that they offer. Next time we'll go with more of an appetite. We'll go back and do the brunch and I'll revisit this review but as of now it's a great place to go with friends or family or even to take a drive sit down and have some cuppa coffee and people watch. read more

After an afternoon at Stoddard Falls, we went up a few more miles to see the town of Mt. Baldy. Lovely and quaint little town so we stopped in to get a coffee and dessert. Service is spot on as soon as we got there we sat near the fireplace and lo and behold it was turned on. It was wonderful so the ambience is amazing. We visited on Father's Day morning. My husband enjoys coming here because it's in the mountains and has a cozy feel, which I can appreciate. The food was okay, but for the prices, I expected more. The service was also pretty underwhelming and not very attentive. It's a decent place for the views and atmosphere, but overall, I left feeling a little disappointed. read more

On a visit to our grandson at Pitzer College, we treated him and 2 classmates to a delightful ride into the mountains to experience Mt Baldy Lodge. It was a wonderful visit, and the Lodge itself is a reminder of the 1950's with relatively inexpensive meals and the ambience of a rustic bar and restaurant. Moose heads, a bison, and wood surrounded us, and a fire was going in the fireplace. Our server, Alisha, was attentive and helpful throughout. We had burgers, nachos, salmon, and soft drinks. After dinner, some of the party played pool (2 tables are available). The food was decent - not to rave about, except that the fries were exceptionally crisp and hot as could be. These cabins are so cute. It's one of my favorite places to stay. I wish we could stay more often but they don't allow dogs. I did find a bag of dog poo on my porch and the chair sort of smelled like pee, but being a dog person, I didn't completely mind. I just wish they allowed dogs. I hear they sometimes have live music and there is one cabin next to the restaurant's busy back patio, so make sure to get the cabin that has the distance you want. The resturant in the lodge is the only place to get food and there is no microwave or fridge but there is a small coffee maker. The bed is super comfy and the tv has a million channels. read more

Went here for taco Tuesday specials. Very easy drive from the San Gabriel valley and a wonderful restaurant. Menu is decent and I enjoyed the local beer. Tacos were ginormous and very filling! Loved the warm homemade potato chips served with the tacos. As a long time visitor to June Lake, this restaurant reminded me of the Carson Peak Inn. Will be back. read more

As a California native and kind of a local to Mount Baldy, (the resort is about an hour away)... I haven't visited in a while...I decided to take the time to visit. It was so much fun. Not only was it snowing when we were there but it's just good vibes, so great to get out of the city! First time here, even though I've been going hiking in Mt Baldy for a very long time. It's a super nice place with legit rustic and mountain cabin cred- deer heads hanging on the walls and all. The service was super friendly, too. As far as the food, can't go wrong with the burgers. I had the Mushroom Swiss with sweet potato fries, and it was really juicy- not dry, and the mushrooms were well sautéed. Also, shout out to the iced tea, which unlike a lot of places actually tastes like iced tea, not watered down. Worth stopping by on your way back home after a good hike. read more

The first time I went it was a completely different experience than recently. The shrimp was so good and hot and crispy. And bbq chicken was tender and so good. We stopped by here for dinner while traveling the mountain. Plenty of parking in front and across the street. Staff were super nice and welcoming. Ambiance is dark, rustic and casual. Carpet seems dated and dirty. We ordered beers which weren't exactly ice cold. Food came out about 25 mins later. We split the chili nachos which was just ok. I read reviews where others raved about the chili- it was nothing spectacular and reminiscent of the stuff in a can you get at the grocery store. We also shared Nannettes burger, which was decent. I was really disappointed with my experience. Took about 40 minutes to get our food after ordering. We ordered plain pancakes and banana pancakes, but the banana pancakes were burnt. The steak and eggs came with a steak that had zero seasoning, and my omelet had a strange flavor, almost like old oil. The biscuits and gravy were probably the worst part, the gravy tasted like cheap packaged gravy and was honestly pretty gross. The only positive was the service, our server was friendly, but I can't believe that not a single dish we ordered was decent. Definitely not worth it, just go get fast food at the bottom of the mountain, trust me. read more
