Over time, he approached me about hosting. What was included in the hosting was never made clear and after countless attempts, I still haven't gotten clarification. I was actually trying to pay Hunter more money to tune up the website and such. He was incredibly difficult to get in touch with. It was normal for 5-8 emails and voicemails to go unreturned in a row. He didn't seem to want to take the work. After a full year of paying $40 / month for hosting, I informed him that we no longer needed his services. This is where Upward has earned the 1 star.... I received written acknowledgement from Hunter that we will no longer be charged for hosting. That never happened and he continues to charge my credit card at will. Months later I'm still being charged. They provide no option to self service cancel. I have been patient with him, but none of my calls and emails are returned. I have to decline the credit card charge each month. Hunter seems to be fine with that. It going to lead to further problems with Upward Web Design. Buyer beware.

But after 2 weeks , it was far from completed. We provided very clear instructions on the changes needed, along with diagrams. The main issues were: Images were inconsistent in size and proportions Duplicate images were included Images appeared fuzzy Numerous spelling errors were present Incorrect titles were assigned to various items Unauthorized images unrelated to our products were displayed The logo was completely wrong, which was provided to them. The account manager kept saying things would be fixed but they kept getting worse. I could tell by some of the grammar that was put on the site, that someone did not know English very well. Which tells me this project was done overseas and not in Texas where they are listed. They refuse to give me a refund and I am now hiring someone new to start all over.

I was scheduled to pick up drawings by 11:30am but I was running late and showed up at 12pm. Not only were my drawings not printed, they didn't call me to communicate this. I was asked to come back in an hour but I agree to come back when they called me to indicate that they were finished. I got a call at 3pm, I went to pick them up and they were still not ready. The most disturbing part is that they rushed putting these together and the drawings looked like they had been put together by someone with no experience. They were not even stapled together and the edges were wrinkled. I will not be using them again, as I over $5 per sheet and I can get them printed else where for a cheaper cost and better job.
