There were quite a few people in the laundromat, but he took the time to assist everyone without hesitation. Anytime we had a question, he was ready to answer and was very patient and respectful. I spoke to someone about that and they said as the charge posts your correct amount will charged. It does NOT! Check your debit or credit cards. I've gone three times to wash comforters in the larger machines. It would cost me more with the price of gas to go back and fight it than the $1.50 owed back to me. Is it a lot of money to me? No. It's the principle.

Their biggest machine (8 loads -$9.25) fill up FAST since there are only two of those. However, the next size washer (6 loads - $7.75) there are 7 of those. All other washers on premises range from 1 load & up. There is ALWAYS someone on site and you'll always catch them cleaning. Change machine, vending machines, and even a store is present where the attendant will break your larger bills or you can buy snacks and or laundry needs. My only gripe(s) isn't even with the laundromat itself, it's the area. As someone who's lived in the area I know what to expect but it constantly smells like weed outside and unfortunately it drifts into the laundromat especially when they leave the doors open sometimes. My second gripe is parking. The laundromat is situation in a small shopping center with Walgreens so you'll find parking but it might not be as close as you want.

They are located in a little plaza on the corner of Sterling and Highland, just behind a Goodyear Auto Repair shop and next to the Regency 6 theater. It's not in the best neighborhood in SB, but then again what is? They are a small, family owned business that has literally been around for decades and their commitment to service easily shows why they've been around so long! We discovered them kind of by accident. After a local dry cleaner shop sold my wife's clothes because she was late in picking them up (!!!), she had been on the looking for a good shop in the area. The problem we were having at a couple of the local McCleaners shops is they could never give accurate quotes for how much their seamstresses would charge for basic clothing alterations and repairs...even though that person has been working with them for years!! You never knew how much it was going to be until your clothes were ready! This seemed sketchy to say the least. So a couple years ago when we were at the movie theater, wifey spied Sterling Cleaners and decided to give them a try with some items she needed cleaned and hemmed. So glad she did! The employees here are always super helpful and friendly, and the prices are more than fair. They also give accurate estimates on when the work is completed. And surprise!! They tell you how much most alterations and clothing repairs will be so you can make a decision ahead of time! Imagine that!
